Staying on Disney all day long, if you had Disney dinning you would never stay outside of Disney again. We’ve done villas and hotels etc and we would never stay off resort again.
We may try the dining one day
I agree about staying at Disney 😁 we’re doing a split stay partly Disney and the rest of the holiday we stay at Sheraton Vistana Resort. We always get a two bed unit with full kitchen, washer dryer etc. it’s nice to have some space when you want it lol👍🏻
You should try Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake (on the 192). It gives you the space and feel of a villa/town house, but with all the facilities of a big hotel too.Best of both worlds 😃

For a great chilled day try the coffee shops, restaurants and antiques shops / centers in Winter Park. Lovely village atmosphere and loads of bargains to come home with. Same goes for the centres and shops etc in Downtown Kissimmee too, can recommend Laniers Antiques!

Glad you prefer a villa to Hotel. We own one in Terra Verde Kissimmee which has 4 beds/3baths and for a family it’s so much cheaper at £600 per week and have guests returning all the time
Thanks for the villa area recommendation guys! Never tried a villa but we’ve done an apartment on I drive and on-site at Disney and universal and love onsite but know what you’re saying about Disney, we do split stays so can go to other restaurants etc. Biggest advantage for me at Disney is the 60 fast passes and the free dining plan that’s why I do it, plus love the feeling of being “in the bubble” but it’s nice to have more space and not be stuck in one room, especially with two kids too!
The sad thing is the dinning plan and fast passes gone

Ah the coffee run, I did that every day we were away, pockets stuffed with cream, sugar and stirrers, and not forgetting the plate of bagels, and other pockets stuffed with butter and Jam, how I miss Florida! Hope you are having an awesome time x

I am definitely a fan of biscuits and gravy. Growing up it looked kind of gross to me, but when I got older and tried it, I realized how delicious it was. It is nice to see a less eventful day, just as I’m sure it was nice to have one as a change of pace.

Watched this again as we are hoping to go to Winter Garden if we are let into US and would go on a public holiday. My husband took his bike and did a fantastic ride on the trail which went through the town on the last visit.
Staying in villa / apartment gives you everything, always my choice. Thanks for showing us all options 👍
It’s always good to have a relaxing day! I’ve only ever stayed on Disney property. I don’t want to have to drive anywhere, and I usually only go for 4-5 nights so I don’t mind the high food costs. I do get what you are saying about space - when my kids were younger we always stayed in a suite so we could spread out. Not a chance at Disney-too expensive! Last time we went before the kids went off to college we got 2 rooms at Pop Century - we would have never survived in one room!

Winter gardens looks beautiful! Another place to visit! And we only have 2 weeks. How will we fit everything in! We love staying in a 5 bed villa. So much space with our own pool. Only downside is the traffic to and from Disney. If I won the lottery I would stay in the Disney villas at copper creek. Love the new wash bag!
I think you guys need to do a Disney resort that aren’t dvc rooms and use the transportation and early magic hours.
Mooch day is a must after being full on for that long.
Winter garden looked lovely, bit like downtown Kissimmee.
Restaurant looked alright with decent prices.
With you on staying in a villa, love the space and the freedom.
And that wash bag Leigh, it had so many zips and compartments and a hook, bloody great purchase!

Villas top of our list, we have never stayed at a Disney resort but love having the space. This December we are near Poinciana that's a 35 min drive to Disney area and 192 but shopping and food nearby.
We love Hampton Lakes off the US27 and HighGrove Resort they have some lovely villas.
Love your honesty. As you were staying on DVC rental you didn’t have to pay parking charges whereas if you stayed at a Disney hotel you would now incur daily parking charges.
It's great that u shop in the inexpensive stores throughout Orlando. They really save u money. Hey Leigh, love that bag! Shop on guys!

Another great video, with different experiences other than the usual Theme Park activities. We love the look of Winter Garden -- very Mediterranean feel, we agree. Great affordable Mexican cuisine.

I totally agree with you both about where to stay in Orlando. We used to only stay at Disney resorts, but now we do villas. I need my own bathroom and at least one extra bedroom for purchases and luggage!!! Also, sorry Nick, but we want to see the bag and everything else you guys buy. 🤗

My preference is onsite disney (beach or yacht club) followed by 2/3 bedroom at the likes of the Sheraton Vistana ..... all with housekeeping .... as that’s my holiday from being housekeeping at home 😂 with 3 kids

Louise Will we done that exact holiday in 2016! Hated leaving the beach club but enjoyed having the extra space at the Sheraton vistana! I think if nick and Leigh got the free dining plan they wouldn’t mind it so much 😂
I may have misunderstood, but I believe the reason why you didn’t have housekeeping at Saratoga springs was because you stayed with DVC points & they don’t immediately qualify for housekeeping. If you stay at Disney as a non DVC guest you have the option of housekeeping every day, or you can have 10 dollars a day- per room.
CLC Regal Oaks Resort is brilliant boys . Townhouses all round . Really great right behind Old Town

Disney springs is full of chain restaurants, but they just charge more for being at Disney Springs. That whole area even by Red Lion Maingate are pretty much chain restaurants
U guys would love Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa. They are spacious, they have kitchens and washer and dryer in the rooms. They are about 5 minutes from Disney. Just a recommendation.

You need to try other Disney hotels Saratoga springs is my least favorite you need to go to animal kingdom or stay at boardwalk both have fun things to do and are close to the parks
we've stayed in 3 and whilst they were all fab and have plus points they don't give us the space we need like a. villa does unless you spend silly money on one bed villas
I have not tried a villa but does sound nice. My husband would love a full kitchen so we could food shop and not have to eat out too often. We may look into that next time. Thanks for the reply and I enjoy all of your videos

I think if you stayed at Disney and had free dining I think your view would change on where to stay without it there is no value staying onsite.

Interesting that you prefer the villa/condos. We have done our last 3 trips onsite due to the free dining and booking fastpasses at 60 days. We did have an extra night in a villa that my brother in law was renting though and have done villas in the past. Next year though we want to have more space and do a little less theme park time. However, only staying in the area you mention as I agree it makes all the difference with the traffic! Where did you book oakwater through? See so many people getting scammed with private rentals it is making me nervous.

Adam hattan dream guide spotted there! I'd love to stay on Disney,just cant justify the price,so we stay just off I-drive in a place that has a kitchen and shuttle to Disney. No service charge either! Actually gutted I cant go this year,dlp will have to be my fix!x

nope fastpasses are convenient but not necessary if you use rope drop or twilight ride
