Due to a health scare in 2017, we decided to start enjoying life more outside our business. We bought a Lodge on the east coast of England and started vlogging our daily adventures
Join us as we explore the UK, Florida, Disney and further afield aswell as spending time at the Lodge on our own, with family and with our friends

Aww, thank you for mentioning one of my favourite tv shows as a kid and one that doesn't get enough recognition usually outside of Canada for how great it was. The theme song for The Littlest Hobo gets stuck in my head every once in a while, especially on long drives so it was appropriate. 😂
That show always made me cry at the end when he was heading off to find a new friend. Leigh

Dropping in on this long vlog series as you arrive in Florida. When we did 2 weeks in Orlando we would always pass that iconic hotel when heading to Universal Parks. Now it's just 1 week at a time and staying at Disney. That gas station looked insane

Panda!!! There is one just over a mile from my house. I used to always get the veggies plus orange chicken but they changed the mix - no more carrots or water chestnuts ☹️. Not so fond now. And they have spiced up the chicken just a touch. Lovely travel day with a difference - thanks guys. ♥️
Nice that you arrived safe and sound. Can’t believe you dine that walk to universal, often see walkers and th8nk OMG they must be shattered! It’s much further than you envisage .

Was just thinking about you guys because I was putting an Ocado order through and they do the Cartmel pudding you like! 😂 . They do a lot of different products the other shops don’t do as well. BBQ sauces and things I haven’t seen before. Ps. Just went into the gourmet section. Big mistake 😂😬

The four corners hotel by Sheraton used to be the Universal Tower hotel. That is why it has the ball on the top.

Yay! back home - we are looking to stay at the Doubletree by Universal for a night in September, we don't land until 8pm (crappy new flight times!) and had Hard Rock booked for 2 nights but didn't want to pay all that money and not be able to get the most of it so trying one night at Doubletree then move to Hard Rock first thing. We'll be up super early because of the jet lag so wont miss out on early entry either :)

Nice place to stay
Wasn’t sure nwhat to have for tea and then Nick had orange chicken . Pleased to find Panda Express within a mile of our apartment. So guess what’s for tea. Great to meet you both on Friday.

I agree with Leigh that 35°C, which is 95°F, is insufferably hot - when it’s that hot outside, all I want to do is stay in an air-conditioned room. I hope things haven’t stayed that hot the whole time you’ve been in Florida! I’ve never been in a Buc-ee’s, but it looks like it’s the size of a Walmart.
The temperature was up and down on this trip. It got cooler then cold then red hot again
Remember watching The Littlest Hobo when I was at High School (Isle of Wight Secondary school) in the early 80s
Used to make me tear up when he left the family at the end and onto his next adventure 😭❤️

We are going to Spain and later Florida and wondered what currency card you use if any ? Been looking at Monzo and currensea but thought Nick would of sniffed out the best deal . No. We love visiting but wouldn't want to live there. It's far too hot in summer and we wouldn't want to move away from family
Since coming back from Orlando Aug 2022, I haven’t watched any Florida vlogs. And now I can confirm I miss Florida sooooo much now. Gonna wait until 2025 I think to go back when the new Universal park opens. Whats it like in April. Thinking Easter holidays(as i work in a school) x
It gets very busy at easter holidays, think its one of the busiest times as its also Spring break in the USA
