⇢ Welcome to our RUclips channel. We are Leigh and Nick, a married couple from the UK (Technically we are civil partner shipped but hey it's close enough)
Due to a health scare in 2017, we decided to start enjoying life more outside our business. We bought a Lodge on the east coast of England and started vlogging our daily adventures
Join us as we explore the UK, Florida, Disney and further afield aswell as spending time at the Lodge on our own, with family and with our friends

I absolutely did not mind all of the food, because most of it looked amazing. You really had a wide variety of meals on that particular day, and it was nice to see you getting something more interesting than just a steak.

I always go straight on and turn left to rip ride....so much fun
We have never done that ride, we dont like the look of the vertical start

Loved this vlog! Took me back to when we went to Universal in 2016 and met TJ who worked there. He took us all on the rides through each back door, no queuing! It was amazing! Your meal looked so good. I would struggle with the chop sticks though! 😂
Wow what a great experience to be taken around by someone. Was that a booked trip or just someone you knew there ?
@@TheLodgeGuys My daughter just started chatting to someone who worked there! She was only 7! He asked her if she was having a good day and she explained we hadn't been on much and how she was a bit scared so he callled TJ out to be with us for the day! He got my daughter over her fear of rollercoasters and we have become good friends with him meeting up on several occasions. He is now the girl's godfather too!
Great vlog. The dragonfly restaurant looked amazing. Just goes to show you the huge choice you have in the different places around Orlando 😋

I'm from Canada.... we call that a beaver tail and put cinnamon sugar on it usually..... it is fried dough.... Glad you liked it :)

I went to Universal for Mardi Gras in March and loved it. You can only eat so much. I never got to try everything I wanted so I’ll go back next year. This is the first year they had food booths in both parks and City Walk. I stayed at Cabana Bay and did the lazy river and the parade too. I know you stayed there last year. The Studio park had the most food booths. We go to the Hollywood park in a week. Can’t wait.

Loved the vlog , 👍 prices for parking at universal are shocking ! Think it should be included , and those snacks are a bit pricey too I feel . Imagine paying £7 for 1 cake t home , we wouldn’t have any more money for groceries,😂 but on ya jollies I suppose , so it is what it is.
Been to that area Dellagio , it’s nice by the lake etc , I believe that area is Dr Phillips and restaurants row. Seasons 52 used to be nice. And for a change on I dive itself , try Cafe Tu Tu Tango . Very quirky !

Typhoon Lagoon is ourmustgo see water park on each trip with vollcano Bay the second. We were in Universal last April and came back with 65 beard necklaces the Mardi Grare parade was good but did not do the food as I don't think last year it was on.

If you’re after a face spf that doesn’t make you shiny I’ve used the Nivea sun spf 50 uv face SHINE CONTROL one and it’s brilliant. They had a couple face sun creams but the shine control is brilliant, wouldn’t even know it was on used it for a couple of summers now

Chimichurri…. Chimi… churri…Primarily parsley with olive oil, garlic, red chilies and vinegar, a touch of oregano and s&p. The other is Brazilian cheese bread which is made with tapioca flour!

Loved this video. I stayed at the tall hotel next door the Four Points Sherston. There is a lovely Red Lobster restaurant across the road.
We have never done red lobster. Is it worth trying?
@@TheLodgeGuys it's really nice. Although more of a chain restaurant these days. The cheddar bay biscuits (scones) are amazing.
27:37 most likely for the electric tailgate. You could have waved Ur foot under it if u have your hands full and the tailgate would have opened.

No but it sounds interesting. We love anything with a bit of uniqueness to it
Nice to see International Drive by day and night, Hilton Garden looks really nice. Glad you enjoyed all the food a great value with the food pass...looking forward to the next vlog.

Can't believe Universal have put parking up again. It was only $27 a day in October half term last year when we went.
It's crazy expensive
We stayed on idrive last year and there was a constant smell of weed 😂would still go back though

We used to like the Mummy roller coaster ride, but not anymore, it is just too jerky, like Space Mountain in MK. It realy hurts to ride it!
Great to see the food options in universal...they don't look as good as disney 😢 nothing looks as good as disney and we're going in March and only doing universal this time cos disney is so expensive for tickets but we will do the 2 universal parks and the water park and it will be mardi gras I think also...looking great guys this trip is doing u both the world of good and yous deserve it ❤

As your in a connecting room have you had any problems with neighbours?
No, thankfully we had no noise
The "mac'n cheese" is Käsespätzle, my favorite German dish - best when served with a cheese that is a little bit stronger and roasted onions. The Universal turkey leg had my husband years ago - it was just awful.
Don't know why turkey legs are still so popular. Thry are rank

Always enjoy a food vlog. Me and my husband are foodies as well. You find hidden gems that you never knew existed, and it's fun doing it.
Bloody Mary’s in the US are way better than the ones in the UK. You should give it a try! Zing zang is the best mix
They have never appealed to us but you never know, we may love them 🤔

One of the best Ethiopian restaurants is just down the street from where you are staying. It was a wonderful surprise to find it when we were there in February.
