I turn 60 in 2021 so I've booked a solo trip to go to Disney staying 9 nights at Disney all stars and 5 nights Universal . Also I can't eat pizza with out pineapple. Loving the vlogs x
Paula Burns I have thought about going to Disney alone, but worried I would feel lonely and out of place. Did you have any issues with that?
I'm really looking forward to it been about 8 times in the last 30 years first with family the with my daughter it means I can do what I want when I want as I've always put everyone before me. So for the first time in my life I'm putting me first x

I like the All Stars. The rooms in Sports haven’t been renovated I don’t think. Movies had renovated rooms with wood floors and coffee makers last February.
Ps Highly recommend Royal Caribbean! Any of their oasis class ships are amazing! Night life much better than Disney ship. Their private islands “ perfect day at coco cay and labadee are fab!!!
Had family holidays at both All star Sports & Movies. Had no complaints whatsoever very clean.

I feel shattered for you with the pack & unpack milarky lol....you'll do nothing but sleep by time you get back to Lodge 🤣 we managed to convert my parents, just after Xmas, into Lodgers....they're retired, and obviously have too much time on their hands, as since Xmas, they've managed to watch nearly the ENTIRE vlog collection you've ever done!! They have daily lodgeathons for hours, catching up!! If you ever get chance, can you say hi to them....Keith & Shirley from Chesterfield. It would make their day. Understand if not, as know you are busy as it is and must have umpteen similar requests
I stayed in all star music last July for two weeks. It’s basic but has everything you need and still has the Disney vibe. Swimming pools are open really late too 😀

Stayed in all star sports in 2018 we are returning in 2021. Loved every minute of our stay here. Thanks for a sneaky peak can’t wait to go back.

I stopped in disney movies sports and music and for a budget resort i find them clean friendly it somewhere to put your head at end of a busy day xx

Bit late to the party, but catching up with these vlogs. We stayed at All Stars Sports on our first visit to Florida in 2019 and loved it! Great theming, clean, buses were great and loved the atmosphere. Would stay here again!
No your All Star room has not been re-furbed just yet but still wonderful! You will love the new renovations each room has a coffee maker. What an amazing trip! Thank you.

I stayed at All Star Sports in December. I wanted to squeeze in a cheap last minute trip. I really liked the resort and the price was a bargain. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again
I have stayed t All star Sports/ Movies & Music & have not had a bad experience so far ! I have also stayed at Caribbean Beach & Port Orleans & its just so convenient especially if you don't want to drive. For Disney Budget Hotels they are good value & the pools are great .. I think like anywhere as the saying goes .. you can't please all of the people all of the time .. loving the Vlogs
Sports was where I stayed on my first Solo trip then twice more after that, it is a perfectly fine place as a base when you are spending 90% of the time at the parks.
We would stay there again apart from the crappy WiFi which we really need to upload vlogs

I have stayed in all star sports the last 2 times I have gone to Disney and in 2015 I stayed in all star movies. As a solo traveller I couldn't afford the other hotels. I knew they were value hotels but I like them. It feels safe and I like that it is easy to get on the buses. Other resorts don't have such easy bus stops. I take my travel kettle with me so that I can make a tea or coffee when I am in the room. The only slight problem I had was in 2018 when the resort was hosting cheer leader squads for something at wide world of sports and there were lots of young teens running around all night who appeared to be directionally challenged. One night they kept knocking on my door and then I would hear them shout 'wrong floor' but I phoned reception and they put a stop to it. I have been on a few TUI/Thomson cruises, not quite the same as Disney but I will never be able to afford to go on one of them.
Love All Star Sports! It’s all we need, clean bed, shower and toilet! We are never in our room so it’s perfect! We would much rather spend our time in the parks than in our room! We find them perfect!
Will be staying at All Star Sports in April. My sister got an awesome bounce back deal. Will be our third time staying there, like you said it's has clean beds, showers. We spend all day in the parks, that's all we need.
Pineapple definitely belongs on pizza but mushrooms in any form are wrong on every level!!!! 😂
All Star Sports is the last of the Star resorts to be renovated. The new rooms when done are so much nicer. It's a pity in regards to your thoughts on the cruise. If you had done a bit of research before hand you would've enjoyed it more. As for the star wars kids area, they have open houses on the day you board so everyone can check out these areas. You could've gone in then and got to see it all. Loving the vlogs so far. Looking forward to the DL/DCA ones.
Yes yes to pineapple on Pizza! Oh and sure someone may have already commented but your room at Sports isn't refurbished one, I stayed at Movies last year and had the refurbished room which is fab, more USB ports, a table (with a murphy bed) so feels much bigger not having two beds when you don't need two. I'd stay there again, means I can afford to go to Disney!
Pineapple on pizza is great! Especially with ham. Bacon and mushrooms is also good :)
Everyone’s tastes are different. First time we stayed at Disney we stayed at Dixie Landings. Next year supposed to be on a budget and stayed at All Star - walked in the room and hated it (didn’t have 2 sinks 😂) so moved to Caribbean Beach. That started out love affair with Tbilisi resort until we became DVC members at BCV I’m 2002 and the rest is history. You tell what Leigh thought of cruise just by his reaction when he walked in the All Star room, totally more excited than when you were on the Dream

I always take my clothes in my cabin bag for my two week stay at Disney then I put my suitcase inside my other big check in suitcase so in theory I can bring back a big suitcase full of stuff we use the laundry rooms whilst swimming so always have clean stuff and we buy new clothes there and wear them x
We stayed at Disney’s All Star Movies back in 2000 on our honeymoon, looking at the rooms/resort, it looks like it hasn’t changed apart from obvious updating etc happy memories ❤️ oh yes & it’s a definite ‘yes’ from me re pineapple 🍍 on pizza 😋 however the rest of my family think I’m mad 😂

We stayed in all stars about 15 years ago and found it fine. Loved the coffee and muffin cart that came around early morning.
I like the DCL smaller ships (Wonder and Magic). They definitely feel more magical and more "Disney-like" in my opinion. Two out of the three restaurants are interactive and really Disney themed. Plus a three night is tough. So if you do want to consider one in the future, try out a longer one on the Disney Magic or Wonder. Also, you can go to the Kid's Club during Open House hours while on the cruise. They do offer those so us grown ups can play in them at times.
Hi Guys , just watching the vlog on the feedback from the cruise , I love following your travels . Not sure if you managed to see the ‘TIL we meet again’ on the last night this for me is the magic that you were looking for This is the way all the characters say TIL we meet again and good night to all their guests on the cruise in the atrium some magic moments happen which really takes me back to my happiest place. I have been on 3 cruises one of my best times was when I treated my mum and dad on the last time they were able to fly to Orlando(2016) as a massive thank you for all they had done for myself and my son when my husband passed away in 2014. I managed to work out and get one of those magic moments that people talk about having when we were able to meet all the characters for a photo shoot just before that last evening. Only 2-3 family’s per cruise get this magical touch so for me to say a huge thank you to my mum and dad with this special moment was the best . I do hope you can go on another Disney cruise as I think there is other magical things that you may have missed . The kids areas have open house at certain times where adults can go and have a look around.i to get very hyped up by other people experiences when going somewhere new but I have learned that some experiences are very different from person to person. Hope you are still having a magical time with your travels safe journeys 🤗x
Pop Century is also a value resort, but they were recently renovated and DO have coffee makers.

To fully enjoy a Disney Cruise it needs to be longer than 3 days. Try a 7 day to truly enjoy the Disney touch. I’ve been onboard for 21 days and hated to disembark.
I would say that Winn-Dixie is your standard American supermarket. Not upscale, and not budget, just middle of the road. As for pineapple on pizza, I don’t usually get it, but if it would ever work it would be with ham. And I’m glad Leigh asked that question about what they do with wine that is tasted it and sent back - it’s good to know it doesn’t just go to waste.
We stayed at all star music last year and couldn’t fault it, we loved it so much we are staying there next year. We like the convenience of it and the price cause we just use it as a room to sleep in otherwise we were hardly there.

I’ve enjoyed all my Carnival cruises,but you wouldn’t ever say the food was amazing! But you can always find something that you would like..we always park at the port,can’t be bothered faffing about with offsite parking...

Just returned to UK from Orlando yesterday and went to Blaze pizza the day before - I have to agree the pizzas are delicious 😋 also thanks for your informative video a few weeks ago re driving in Orlando - I drove for the first time and your video really helped as you say after a few days you realise it’s easier than driving at home!

Stayed here in 2018 and going back late sept this year , we don’t spend a lot of time in the room lol and found everything to be great . All the hotels appear to have a similar layout so why pay so much .

So how come you didn’t just stay at the villa for the night if you have use of it for your luggage? The refurbished rooms are very white with wooden floors, crisp and clean looking, all the rooms at Pop have been done, not sure about the others.
We had already paid for all star sports before we got offered the villa for the final week
We have done 2 Royal Carribbean cruises and have another 1 this year there really good u should give them a go x

I will never stay at All Star Sports again. Found roaches crawling on the walls. There was feces smeared on the wall behind the bathroom door. My daughters and I went to the parks only to come back at night to see the lights on in our rooms. Beds were never made. Was very upset that housekeeping left our room like this. Thank heavens nothing was stolen.

Great vlogs guys. It’s a big no no from me with pineapple on pizza, ewe. My preference is ham, or bacon, sweet corn and mushrooms. It makes total sense that you wouldn’t do the cruise again. Did it feel like a rest time between the parks? It looked like it.
Oh and the price of the wine was a joke! There is mark up and there is MARK UPS! At the view was a great one 👍.
