Hey Guys, nice vlog.
Hollywood is a state of mind. Easy to visit-hard to live there. The church from Sister Act is actually in Noe Valley, San Francisco. I lived in SF during filming and it was a hoot watching the actors around the city.

Just looking back on your vids on lockdown bring back memories my cus lives in L.A been over a few times but not for about 10 years loved back stage tour and water world show we do Florida a lot but this makes me want to go back to California

A great video. How does California's Universal Studios compare to the one in Orlando Florida? Great Universal Studio tour. It was a very nice sunset in LA. , sad that those helicopters caused lots of noise.
I loved the Universal Studios tour, especially Jaws, and how creepy was Norman Bates coming out of the Psycho house and putting the 'dead body' in the boot of his car, then beginning to walk over with a knife ! 😱,

I have now watched enough Lodge Guys videos today to almost equal the length of “The Irishman.” 😯 I will say I think Leigh had the right idea with that poncho! We did catch at least a glimpse of Simon at one point, but of course those of us who follow you on Instagram have seen a photo of him. And that was quite a view from the bar you went to to watch the sunset.
Sunset or not those helicopters would ruin it. What a ruckus! Not sure how you handled being outside with all that noise. The wine must've been good and compensated for it. lol

Love Backlot tour! I remember it from Orlando (last time i was there they had Jaws, Earthquake, Hitchcock presents, Back to the Future, Hanna Barbara, the old King Kong, and something dedicated to I love Lucy and Star Trek where you could make your own videos like you were a part of it. I miss that! Didn’t Hollywood Studios (MGM) used to have a backlot type tour? I feel like I vaguely remember that.
I’m still waiting for the couple in front of Nick on the studio tour ride to turn around and say ‘shut the &#%k up, we are trying to hear what the actual tour guide is saying’. A very dry Leigh craaaacks me up. Love from New Zealand
On the subject of coffeemakers-- when I stay at a motel for a extended period, I bring my own cheap coffeemaker and coffee and filters. They are like $10-15 at Walmart. You can just toss it when you leave back to the UK,

Loved it... I haven’t been to universal in forever... think I need to go.... oh and btw.... next time you guys come to DL, if you don’t stay on property I would def recommend staying at one of the hotels on Harbor between Ball Rd and Katella... much better than the one you stayed at for sure 👍
While you're in the LA area you MUST go to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. It is reasonably priced and a divine experience!!! What a coincidence... We stayed at that exact Marriott when we went to Universal studios and met some friends in Hollywood.
Have been watching all the vlogs seems that you two have been away for ages you are definitely been making the most of you time away and making lots of memories Leigh looked so happy last night in the hotel bar ,the sunset over LA was amazing . Disneyland looks quite quaint compared to Orlando but it would not be good to be just the same enjoy the rest of your holiday although you are probably home by now . Thanks for your brilliant vlogs and entertainment plus all info you give .

I’ve heard they are building a mario land at universal Hollywood too but don’t think it’s been announced yet. I’d love to visit but maybe in 2-3 years, love orlando too much!

I got the train to Disneyland and Uber’d back we was staying on walk of fame and the Uber was 50$ also the tram from walk of fame to universal is 2 stops so it’s doable x

Catching up on your old vlogs and Walking Dead ride sounded a bit too close to home at the moment
Just for reference, an Uber from Hollywood to Disneyland was about $80 round trip when we went! We took Ubers everywhere for a week and managed to spend less than renting a car :)

Gary Jackson No way! Part of the fun is contrasting and comparing and they did warn you in the first Cali vlog they would be doing a LOT of that because Florida is their main vacation home. As a guy who’s never been to California I really like their thoughts.
