    Thinking about picking up the Xtreme 2 SE and wondered if there are any major negatives to getting this versus the bench style?

      I see the XTREME as more of a weight lifter's machine and the PR1000/Blaze as more general fitness. I have a bunch of other videos on the XCEED/XTREME that you can find in my bio including a review of the machine.
      Also, nothing wrong with buying used and you can often save a lot of money doing so. These machines hold up well, just the power rods wear out (and they can either be replaced or subsidized with elastic bands).
