Chabadnikim are some of the most generous people out there. I've been welcomed into the homes of many an orthodox Jew, and always felt welcome. My practice was always more lax as a reform Jew, but I always enjoyed engaging in more mitzvot than I normally did.

Ditty kong Well, I have to admit that Christians have it much better in America than Jews or any other faith does, and that judaism does not recognize "Jews for Jesus" or any other Messianic branch as legitimate. I just want to make that clear. One cannot be Jewish/follow the Torah and believe in Jesus simultaneously. They are mutually exclusive. However I respect your right to believe as you will.

I love this entire series so much! As a Muslim, and just overall 'religious' person, I absolutely love watching each episode! All the Jewish people I've ever known have always been pretty secular, so seeing an orthodox Jewish man with such an adorable family, and just hearing about how he practices and interprets religion is so coole- I just loved it all!

Explanation about the 4 types of people: The lulav (a palm branch) represents someone who does the commandments, but doesn't sit and learn Torah (the Jewish holy book). There 2 other types of leaves that you don't see here. 1 is the Hadasim (myrtle branches) that represent someone who learns, but doesn't keep all the commandments. The other are Aravot (willow leaves), someone who does neither. The lemon (an Etrog) represents someone who does both. These 4 can also correspond to 4 body parts
even though I am not this religion, I love this series because I think it expresses them in a happy, upbeat, and optimistic light. I am overjoyed to see that there are still religious people out there who stick close and are faithful to it.
This video warmed my heart. My heart is a cold dark coal like lump of rock, and this video melted it. What great people. I feel ashamed for all the rotten things I do now.....pffft.....
I love this series! I think its wonderful we're seeing people from all different faiths, and no matter how much they differ, the common thread is that we're not very different from one another. We all believe in something and we want our lives to be good and meaningful. That's really beautiful.

Sweet! I was in the process of conversion to Judaism for over a year. Though I chose a very different path in the end, there are gems of the faith that I keep with me to this day - including my name. Thanks for sharing this Zach. It brought back fond memories : )

I'm nowhere near religious but I LOVE these videos. Just because I don't believe doesn't mean I'm not interested! I just love that you show that religious people raise their kids like any other person would, with LOVE! So many people think wrongly of that but hey. I grew up Christian and my parents gave me the space to find my own path. There's nothing wrong with religion as long as there is respect, love and faith in humans
this series rocks... cant wait for the next one. hopefully this is getting through to ppl that are some times ignorant about other faiths.

Hey Zach! It is important to humanise the people in all sorts of religions. What you are doing is great! It's also important to help people understand that within each religion there's a lot of variation as well, with some parts being more traditional and some parts being more progressive and many a mix. Mendy starts that conversation in this video, but it would be good for you to take it up in whole episodes. Thanks!

There is a great wealth of information online about Jewish customs. I can try to point you in the right direction if you're interested.
I appreciate the openness of this series, especially since religion seems to have a bad rep in this day and age. I think the unbiased approach that they have taken is extremely effective. I, myself, find it difficult to ask these types of questions to people of a different faith than mine, in fear that our differences will cause a stir or that they will take offense to my questions when I'm genuinely curious about their religion.
