I own the MM200 in green and have to say that it's a great little watch. Outweighs both Submariner and Seamaster on a steel strap mind. I don't mind a heavy watch but it is excessively so. Other than that however, it's a super little piece that I would recommend.

I own the same SPB207 and never had problems with the weight. Even though I have quite slender wrists.
I can only recommend the MM200, no complaints!

I do love Seiko and I do have the SPB087 but at that price you get a nice MIDO Ocean Star Tribute with a much better movement so...
Yes I have the ocean star 600 chronometer with a Si hair spring for $1200 I will never buy a seiko luck of the draw unregulated 6r3xx watch they look nice but not for what you get anymore. Mido is the way to go if you want Great heritage awesome movement and accuracy out the box.

Dude, the macro is getting even better! I think this is the best looker of the series. Obviously not as well finished as the Uemura, but the black suits the MM2 case better IMO. Now, I can't let the knockoff Alibaba 'X' go uncriticised (there!), but that dial is very good otherwise, as are those hands. They've done those pressed indices very well. All in (if you get a good movement, or quickly/easily regulate it), that is a LOT of watch for the money, especially if you get a bit of Seiko discount love!
The 6r35 movement is a disaster ,I bought this watch ,have to reset it every 2 days ,thank fk i never paid the full price £1080 .Great looking watch but as an accurate time piece forget it its piss poor, save your hard earned cash

Careful when buying this Black Series as Seiko has dropped the ball yet again with its QC even with these so called limited editions. I purchased my SPB255 last week online and upon receiving it immediately noticed that the bezel does not line up properly at 12 o'clock. Also the hour hand only lines up with the hour markers at past 5 mins. This is totally crap QC from Seiko and will be my last
Wish I could add a photo comment here to show the issues I had with this model.
Thats no good but you can return to your Seiko AD and use the warranty. They will fix it.

But that’s not a cushion case in the SPB255.
Yeah not a traditional cushion case but anytime Seiko removes a portion of the mid-case on the lower hemisphere of the case it feels like a cushion case on the wrist. In fact this one is more comfortable then all the others.
The black finish is anodized metal? The black color would wear off (starting at the stress points) and make the watch look like crap.
