No joke, I had a coughing fit laughing a little bit a COUPLE times. This one of the funniest videos to be released. xD And I mean this Danny Matta video, his pauses and comments have killed me on top of the episode.
Fun fact: Stolas is based on a demon from a real historical book of demonology called the Ars Goetia. I highly recommend looking up his illustration from that, because he is just the funkiest little guy.
The seals you see in the show are also based on demon seals from the book of king Shlomo. As are most of the demons. Stolas himself is the one to teach humanity about astronomy, astrology, precious gems and botany. You will see many references to those in his castle
My favorite thing about Helluva Boss' cast is how deeply flawed nearly every major character is, like they're almost all just fucked up traumatized idiots who are not coping in any healthy ways, and I think it makes them much more engaging than characters that are good guys

Watching your gradual, awed expression grow throughout Stolas' song was everything to me. Stolas is my favorite character in Helluva . His character takes a while to get, but when you find out ALL of his backstory, I hope you ease up on him LOL. I ADORE him.
I don’t think you noticed, but when the “shag carpet with a beak” was walking around in his robe, his slippers were squeaking with every step and it’s just a subtle touch that shows how much care and pride is put into this show. And that’s it an adorable piece of sound design.

While I think Vizipop is a good writer in her own right, it's really hard to beat Brandon Rogers for comedy writing and him helping on Helluva Boss helps it alot.
God I can't wait until Danny gets to episodes 5 and 6. Like, he always gets hype for a good fight scene, and one major thing helluva boss has over hazbin hotel is the amount of fight scenes. Those two episodes are where the plot starts getting thick
I think it’s important to keep In mind that hazbin (other than the pilot) is an amazon show. That shit has funding. This was indie from start to finish and only released on RUclips. And it’s still AMAZING. Stellar, hilarious writing, great animation, and the songs will blow you away. They aren’t every episode, but that gives them the chance to stretch their legs a little and only pump out the kick ass ones
Helluva Boss definitely operates on an exponential curve of quality where everything about the episodes just keeps getting better and better. Even from the start of season 1 to the end, it's a tangible, continuous improvement, which bodes good things for the show.

The Alex Brightman saga continues lol. And idk if ppl are bugging you abt it or if you've already seen it, but there's a pilot for Helluva Boss too. It's not crucial to the plot, but it introduces the characters pretty well.
Episode two really did a 'get every single viewer unreasonably invested in this father/daughter relationship' any % speedrun with that opening song, it was wild. It remains my favourite musical number in the entire Hazbin franchise to this day.

Watching your gradual, awed expression grow throughout Stolas' song was everything to me. Stolas is my favorite character in Helluva . His character takes a while to get, but when you find out ALL of his backstory, I hope you ease up on him LOL. I ADORE him.

I think it’s important to keep In mind that hazbin (other than the pilot) is an amazon show. That shit has funding. This was indie from start to finish and only released on RUclips. And it’s still AMAZING. Stellar, hilarious writing, great animation, and the songs will blow you away. They aren’t every episode, but that gives them the chance to stretch their legs a little and only pump out the kick ass ones

Helluva Boss definitely operates on an exponential curve of quality where everything about the episodes just keeps getting better and better. Even from the start of season 1 to the end, it's a tangible, continuous improvement, which bodes good things for the show.
