And the Han army sang Chu's song day and night, causing the Chu army to be homesick and lose their will to fight. Xiangyu's obsession towards his lover Yuji was also part of the reason Chu's army was in disarray. Yuji eventually initiated a sword dance and killed herself using his sword. Xiangyu miraculously survived the war and managed to retreat. However, he chose to commit suicide since he had lost everything.
