Although Aurora’s microphone was a bit too quiet for singing with a Full Orchestra (the sound engineer did an awful job) she still shined ♥️
The way the violinist looks at her when applause starts is true recognition between artists, one singing, the other masterly executing an instrument. Aurora coming back, dedicating most of the time to recognize the orchestra is also moving to tears to me.
Aurora enters the scene as the Queen, shows off a feat of singing and performing, and disappears as a forest elf.

Yessss, wouldn't be an Aurora cover without that classic folky chanting. I always love hearing those sounds in her music, like Norwegian folk singing. Reminds me of the main theme and music in The Last Kingdom, which is fitting I suppose since the modern descendants of the Vikings live in Scandinavia.

AURORA sung this song brilliantly at the Royal Albert Hall. Aurora's vocals are also featured throughout the Frozen Planet series itself. I'm guessing that Aurora filled in for Camila, who wrote this song and sung the studio version for the trailer to the series, but had a conflict and was unable to be at the live event. They both have wonderful voices, and are great performers.

@@luca7675 If you're referring to the song, I believe Hans Zimmer wrote the music, and Camila wrote the lyrics, but I'm not sure exactly how the collab unfolded.

I agree that they are both good, but I have to say, I prefer this version. Need a little more gain on the vocal mix, though.

Camila and Aurora sound like the same character in a story, but at different points of their story. Aurora is the character in the beginning young and naive making the decision to help her world and change it for the good, which is why she sounds hopeful. Camila has seen the struggles and almost fallen but she's gotten back up with a renewed push to bring that change and will not stop till she's done. She's seen how hard it is and she's desperate but she will move forward
I love Camila, but damn, Aurora OWNED this song! The balance between the orchestra and vocals wasn't the greatest here, but she still owned it...her style really suits the music so well! Gave me chills!!! I'd love to hear another performance of this or a studio version....I HAVE A MIGHTY NEED.

Here’s my description: Aurora’s version is good for pulling you in at the beginning of a show, but Camilla’s version is good for the triumphant climax.
Aurora usually do her signature build up for a song, since it's not her own song she cannot do that. But, she definitely give this song a flavor with that haunting bridge.

I didn‘t saw anyone against Camilla, people just like Aurora‘s version better. In general both artists fans are far away from being hateful i think.
It has nothing to do with speaking condescendingly about other artists, it is only about how the performance of a song hits each individual. Aurora has something that no other artist has and that is charisma, empathy and musical genius
As an all round performance this was at another level the way Aurora just loses herself in the music when the orchestra starts as if she’s going to the very place that she is going to sing about and taking you there with her is breathtakingly beautiful.seriously Aurora is special and the amazing thing is I don’t even think she knows how special she is.Genius ❤️
Camilla is great, but nobody can make the sounds AURORA makes. Her pitch and tone, note bends etc... are sublime, as sublime as any instrument in the Orchestra. There is singing and then there is AURORA. It's like magic.

Honestly disappointed…. I found her live performance very weak and unimpressive, even boring.
Well I've been a fan of AURORA for four years now and yes there are some of her performance that are weak but i think it's because her voice affected by the background noise and loud music louder than her voice. You should listen to her lives that have removed the background noise like her live at COP26...♥️

disagree -- I happen to like both. Camila wrote the song, so that means a lot. However, Camila's audio is a studio production, while Aurora nails it live. Both singers have great voices -- would be cool to have them collaborate on something and perform a duet.
With all due respect to Camilla, she does zero singing on the soundtrack, and there are zero lyrics. Just Aurora singing from the center of her soul.

This is an amazing song, congrats to everyone involved, however, she's not a good vocalist. She's barely maintaining the pitch and her voice doesn't have the power needed to come through. I heard the version sang by Cabello and it's on an entirely different level.
Sorry but there are live version of the Song from Camilla ? @@HONJAASE Camila's was not full of autotune, people think that until they hear her live , with or without autotune Camila has a better voice. Camila has sung live enough for us to know she can sing a song well if she wanted. No hate to Aurora.
Oh honey, you're so wrong. I understand if you didn't like her performance in this song, but don't say she's a bad vocalist. Search other lives performances of her and you will see how good she is. She puts emotions in her voice and body. She's unique and so talented. Give her a chance to prove you wrong 😉
I love the lyrics of this piece and the message behind it and I have respect for Cabello and Zimmer for writing this. I have my own interpretations on both versions that were sung by AURORA (live only unfortunately 🥲) and Camilla. It's obvious that AURORA filled in last minute, considering how the instrumentals in the live almost completely overpowered her, it was organised for Camilla's more powerful voice. But I still absolutely adore AURORA's version. Aurora has always been an advocate for protecting natural environments and her voice makes it feel like she's mother nature herself, desperate to battle on and refuses to die just yet. Camilla's version tells a story of a human, expressing the struggle to protect nature, it's wonderfulness and desire to learn more about it.
Both versions are incredible, have a lot of emotions behind it and overall beautiful. I prefer AURORA's version, simply because I am a big fan of hers and her style interests me, and I like the thought of mother nature herself asking us what we want.
We hear the human's side of the relationship all the time, and I just like the idea of the opposite perspective if that makes sense. That being said, Camilla's version is still spectacular and I can see why people would prefer her version. Shame we don't get to see a live performance from Camilla, and a studio performance from AURORA
I would like both please, people are so competitive over who did it better but really they're both awesome and tell the same story from a different perspective. 😭🙏
