The instructions are easy to follow, but after it’s baked, it didn’t get to the height you had on your video. The total height of my cake came out only to be around 2 inches (5 cm). I feel like I did something wrong, but I followed the recipe exactly... please help. Thank you

2:39 I can't agree more with this , I used a spatula on my first try of making a normal genoise and deflated my eggs trying to get a homogenous mixture , my genoise didn't fail but it was not so spongy
