How the hell does this channel only have 199k Subs when it's creating content that surpasses anything the golf channel can? This is some top tier production, amazing job from Eric and the crew! Oh and shout out to Grace, Alix, Jeremy and Tim. You four are awesome!
@@RG-od8ri lol and I’m sure you’re so much better. The whole Point of this is to try to show regular guys and girls trying to play these crazy difficult courses as they are set up for the pros. It’s not crap golf, it’s just normal person golf. That’s how most all of us play, so don’t sit there and try to pretend that you don’t.
This is better than a Netflix documentary. Amazing production values, beautifully understated Erik voice over, over 2 hrs of my life I'd happily give again. Thanks.
Im sooo surprised that I havent seen this channel before.. I have been working with digital marketing and content for over 5 years, and this is some of the best conceptual and executed RUclips content I have ever seen. The golf-side of my brain is in deep happiness and the other side of the brain that is rational and harsh is just surprised every f-in second about every small details. From film-position, comment from the wonderfull voiceover and the graphic job that is put into this incredible series. Kudos, to the moon and back! Now I just wanna play golf, submitt on every form that Erik opens for and hopefully One day join a adventure like this! I would take the trip from Norway just to play One of these holes!
Another amazing film. Besides the beautiful course, great commentary and fun golfers/caddies the soundtrack is perfect. Please keep doing this, I look forward to it so much.
No golf for the last 3 months due to a busted ankle, down from normally playing 5 days a week. Discovered you this morning and it’s the next best thing. Thank you!!!
Coming from the good good end of youtube golf and just found this series, just started the 2nd episode. AMAZING quality, and the narration is absolute gold. Why did i JUST find this.
I've been so busy I completely forgot about this first video and am so glad to catch the second one here as their journey continues at Erin Hills. Vaibhav said it best, it's so easy to play golf from your couch because we do it all the time with our own game in our own heads but we all know that all of that goes out the window after our first tee shot. But that's what always brings us back at least it is for me. The challenge, the laughs we share with our golf buddies, and those once in a while great shots we get that tells us we can do this. It's such a joy to experience and share with others and another reason why we're all so glad for EAL and his team. Thanks again for another great adventure in golf.
having discovered this series - what an absolute treat! Pure class. Magic. I mean I'm rooting for players waayyyy more than watching the PGA.. talking to their balls and everything haha what a treat, thanks team!!
fan of the channel for a while, just found this series-love it! TPC Sawgrass was great-the balance of skill levels together is entertaining and illuminating. look forward to more
Really enjoy these vids - I hope all the high HCPer's our there take note: even scratch golfers struggle. Keep your head in the game and keep grinding!
Eric and the team, thank you so much for this series and all the other content you produce. As someone who can’t play anywhere near enough golf as I would like, your videos provide so much joy and inspiration to want to get to a place of being able to play more golf. In between all of the videos that you release, I say to myself I want to be a little bit closer to making it as a freelance musician so that I can play more golf. I think I am, and I put it partially down to your channel. Cheers!
It'd be awesome if you circled birdies, squared bogeys and-so-on in the virtual scorecard. It would be massively helpful to know what we're looking at quickly ;) Keep up the awesome work, hope to make it someday into these BREAKING Episodes! One love.
This is an experience that would be tough to say is not a lifelong /bucket/memory maker. Absolutely loving seeing these guys enjoy every minute and realize the amazing experience in front of them. Hopefully one day I’ll be watching a video with me playing with EAL in Canada at a random golf club outing or in one of these breaking experiences!!!
Absolutely love these videos. I only recently found them and loved TPC Sawgrass and this one is just as good. Great group of guys, the production quality is just awesome and love the commentary. If you guys ever come to play the beautiful and challenging courses in Australia please consider me for a spot. Just love golf and these videos are the absolute best.
So ... hole #5. A 505 yard (nominal) par 4 from the tips in US Open configuration. Two of our golfers had ~ 170 yards in from which they hit 7 irons. Long, but believable with runout (I'm a high teens handicapper in late-middle age who hits a 7-iron 140-150 yards). However, that implies that they hit their drives about 335. The tour average this year is 295. That is really sporty and it looked like this hole played uphill.
Hands down my favorite golf channel and the breaking series is the best….PERIODS !!!! I’d love to get on someday just to hear that voice say “ There’s a bacon cheeseburger in the clubhouse if you birdie this hole “ then watch an over zealous 15 hcp eagle out the hole.
Funniest part of the video: Players hiking up the hill commenting on how steep it is and the camera pans to the top and the caddy is up there with the bag waiting for them. LOVE IT!
If you dug Chris in this episode check him out later this week on the Off Brand Golf Show. You're gonna' get to learn a ton more about him...trust me. Subscribe so you know when it goes up, Thursday I hope.
Cool to see this type of scenario. Gives perspective on how technical golf can become with the added pressure of the course/cameras. Just like tournament day…hit drives good the day before & then you find forest on the 1st drive…or duff an easy chip..I’ve surely been there ha. Good stuff
After listening to Vaibhav, my armchair golf score would be 150 playing that course if I was lucky. Great work so far! Looking forward to next episodes
Alex is a grinder, man! He's got really good fundamentals. Rooting for him big time! And Chris...man...I hit some balls on the range just trying to emulate Chris's takeaway and rhythm (so silky!) and I was flushing irons about 10 yards past where I usually hit them with what felt like 50% of the effort. Ken and Vaibhav are also great - solid players - and everybody's fun to watch. What a great series.

Just found this channel and love the breaking series. I'm sure the question was answered but the courses that have hosted US Opens are: Pebble Beach (3), Pinehurst (2), Bethpage (2), Torrey Pines (2), Chambers Bay and Erin Hills

@@theoutdoorsman9726 love your response. RG and the others with like responses probably claim they have 300 yd drives.
These videos have become a spiritual getaway. Seriously so well produced.
Agreed! I usually come here to relax after a long days of work 😪
Four putt after sticking a par 3 is my brand of golf and I'm elated to have you on my team, Alex. Welcome.
Lol right
Haha I'm known for the green in under reg., Then 3 putting for par 🤣
One of us gooble gobble
A lot of golfers, even high handicappers, can reach the green in under reg. Putting is the biggest game killer because no one wants to f’n practice it
This is better than a Netflix documentary. Amazing production values, beautifully understated Erik voice over, over 2 hrs of my life I'd happily give again. Thanks.
What a unique cast of characters in this foursome, I love it.
Divot tracer, whoop tracker and bird tracer all in one episode? You are spoiling us with these graphical masterstrokes. Great episode team.
Man, it's so well done. Awesome.
I find myself cheering for Alex slightly more then the others, but everyone is very relatable and talented.
This video was 38 minutes long? Felt like 5. Incredible stuff as always.
That man Ken gets legit PGA tour pro distance out of his swing. What a beast
Need to work on that short game tho
@@gkLA33 definitely. and putting. shows you that the longest hitter does not usually = the best player!
That 170 PW - wow
This is about as close as you can get to playing golf with a group of mates whilst sat in your living room eating dinner. Top quality content 🤟
Bethpage, torrey pines, pebble beach, pinehurst and chambers bay
Winner winner chicken dinner!
Missed chambers bay. Nicely done!
Well done! Somehow I forgot Pinehurst.
isn't bethpage a public course too?
@@shawnkarasevicz5308 yes it is. I'm in NY and need to get down there some day soon to get owned by the course lol
This really is content that keeps me checking back for the next video. Feels weird to be here 3 mins after it dropped! Nice work EAL and team.
Ah yes more great golf content to binge.
Pretty clear Alex is going to be good one day. Love the series, Erik. Thanks for this. Appreciate it.

“Must be nice to be an athlete.” Wonderful line.
Ken hitting his PW 160+ years is hilarious. What a guy
So excited for this series! I love 20 minutes from the course. Great to see some recognition coming to Wisconsin courses.
Grew up two tree hours away from here. Such a great experience for these 4, and EAL!
We got a Lewis Hamilton drop, back to the future mention, man the commentary was epic on this one
Bethpage Black, Pebble Beach, Torrey pines, Chambers Bay, Pinehurst are the 5 other public courses to host the US open
Love this series and the 4 some's (plus caddies) energy
Finally, I've been looking for this every day since the last episode
These videos are scratching my golf itch as the season ended here. Love the production.
A 70's sunken living room. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ours had orange and gold shag carpet.

I'm a woman that's new to golf and gotta give props to the women caddies. Love this channel, this is great productions.
The itch to golf is always so strong after these videos. Incredible.
Pebble, Pinehurst, Chambers Bay, Bethpage...and I believe Torrey is public as well!
Well done! Fun to see regular dudes playing the tips on a tough course. They all looked like they had a great time!
"My legs look like crumpled paper...." Haha. Awesome series so far.
Love how positive Chris is , what a gent
Top notch stuff here. Stop overthinking and enjoy the game of golf, fellas! Very much enjoy the series
I wish I had Vaibhav's mentality on the course! Got to love his enthusiasm and ability to take the rough with the smooth
