Hard agree I'm vibing with this group especially Chris and lovin how grindset Alex is, Ken bringing the bomb 170 yard 9 irons, and Vaibhav got the love
I love these so much. Format is back to the original. I would like a wider variation in HCP but this is just lovely

I think what Jeannie wanted to write was that she thinks it's perhaps an extremely difficult course for a high handicapper....but when those fingers hit the keyboard she just couldn't help it. I agree with you however Justin 👌🏼 That said they seem like good blokes
Great stuff. Just 1 tip, always show the target goal score for each player when they are showing each of them.

I think this course is just too damn hard for anyone with a higher handicap than what is represented by this group. As it stands after 4 holes, the only one I see realistically hitting their target score is Alex, who probably also set the most realistic target score. I've played a couple of courses from the tips that have hosted majors. I had a low single digit handicap at the time and shot right around 90 both times. Add the travel and the cameras these guys had to deal with and that would make it that much more difficult.
By far the best golf content for amateurs to live vicariously through other like skill level players.
What score would you try to break?
I would say 110. Same handicap as Alex but I don’t hit as long as he has been. I make up for distance in my short game. Short game means squat if I can’t reach fairway.
@@domithor Gotta agree with that. 18 hc, my drives are like 250 in the summer heat, usually play 6000-6400 yd tees. My goal would be break 110. Play most of those par 4s as par 5s.
Rooting for Alex to take home a caddy bib and break 110 here!
Were I Alex, I'd get the bib and then have all the caddies, crew, and players sign it, for a framed sentimental piece.
Chris once saved a cat stuck on a tree with his 5-iron. As a teenager, Chris had a weed whacking business in which he used his irons to trim unwanted bush, this led to him having the smooth swing you see him have now. Years of weed whacking and saving cats with clubs has turned him into one of the most consistent, generous, kind, and positive golfers that have ever lived. People can only strive to be more like Chris.
He saved my cat, but I thought he hit a 6.

you can really tell alex picked up golf for time with his dad. His swing and style of play is just what I could imagine out of the general "father figure". Like his dad taught him EVERYTHING. so cool

These guys are doing phenomenally well! keep it going, plus Kudos to Ken's Caddie! Her "let's go!" after his wedge shot on the green felt so sincere! Good chemistry all-around players/caddies/camera crew/and it shows!
Dude!! I felt the same way about Ken’s caddie! What an awesome fire call and really just seemed so sincere. I’m sure it made Ken feel great. Shame he 3 putted. So felt a birdie coming

OMG, do you ever come across something that you didn't know existed but when you see it you suddenly realized you've always loved it? That is me with this Format, voiceover and production. It is so relaxing and Erik's smooth voice and deep golf knowledge really make it a pleasure to watch.
Can't decide which I love more - the awesome, positive attitude of the players, or the Wisconsin accents of the caddies
All 4 players are so appreciative and that’s what it’s all about. However Chris and his caddy… their connection is so pure and joyous to watch. Just found this channel last week, and I’ve crushed all the breaking series in a week. Thank you for this content.

This is such a great video, not only for entertainment, but for the game of golf. I remember commenting a couple years ago poking fun at a couple of Eric's bad shots. It's funny because that was when I started really taking golf seriously, trying to lower my scores and judging other people's game against mine. After having many humbling rounds, I can only appreciate the courage it takes to put all your shots on youtube. Not only that, Eric brings such a great attitude and welcoming perspective that is missed way too often amongst golfers. Thanks Eric for the channel. Please keep posting videos like these!

The commentary makes these episodes so much better, the guy is class great commentator. Need commentary like this in the majors keeps it funny and entertaining 👍🏼
I think the coolest thing about these videos is I find myself cheering for every one playing to play well the further through the round that they go.
I played this course just over a week ago on the last day of the season and shot 88 just from the 6800 yard tees. I can’t imagine trying to break 90 from an extra 1000 yards. Good luck to these guys!

as a Minnesotan, I can firmly say that Wisconsin people (except when it comes to sports, which is fair) are some of the finest, most humble people on the planet and I always love visiting the Badger State! Beautiful courses, nice people, good vibes all around.

Eric is pre-defending Alex but he's playing much more what I'd expect for a 14 Handicap versus the other high handicapper in the breaking series.

There's a lot of golf content on RUclips, but this brings a new angle, a new element. Your choices of players and their excitement to be taking part in such an amazing experience really comes through in these episodes. I've enjoyed your videos for a very long time, but there's something about these Breaking series episodes that hit different - perhaps because I can relate to these players? If the guy from Dubai is a 4 handicap I should be on the PGA tour. Huge over the top driver swing and horrendous chipping technique. Fair play to Alex and Kem they actually look like legitimate handicaps and are solid.

Well put together videos of amateurs playing golf at some of the hardest courses played by tour professionals. Great to see people of different skill levels playing together and having fun. I have been fortunate to play TPC Sawgrass's stadium course, Pinehurst #2, Spyglass Hill, the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island and a few others. Television doesn't do them justice. Would love to see you with a group at Spyglass HIll; playing the outward 9 towards the ocean then the inward through the DelMonte Forest.

I played a round here in September of 2019. It rained half an inch that morning and 80% of the days tee times cancelled. For me it was now or never so I waited the rain out and it was such an amazing experience. It is worth the price without a doubt. I loved it so much, would love to go back.
My man at 6:00 - being from Phoenix, the quality of grass is one of the best parts of getting out on the course.

Just finished watching Breaking Pinehurst and gotta say, while that one was super well-produced just like all the breaking series, there's seomthing about this one that just hits different. It may be the vibe, the course, the players, or even the music, but Breaking Erin hills just feels so damn well done, satisfying, and uplifting.
