I use this channel as an example of expert film making. There's such a large leap in difference between good film making and great film making. I'm blown away by the colour grading and compositions. Truly inspired by this and random golf club. Watching the break 90 series and it's a Vlogg. and it's got some of the most beautiful shots I've ever seen this is a truly fantastic short documentary. Thank you.

I played Northwoods several times as a teenager...nearly 60 years ago. It was beautiful and special then. Clearly, that hasn't changed. Somehow, once before I pass, I'd love to go back and play at least 9 again. The memory of this unforgetable course has never left me.

This is probably one of the best things I've watched in years and that includes anything that isn't golf related. What a place. I wish more golf courses had this ethos. None of the elitist attitudes, no one is made to feel small or unwanted - a true homage to what this game can and should be.

We rented an Airbnb at Bodega Bay for a week and my father in law insisted we take a drive and play this course. Truly beautiful. I’m shocked I never played it as a youth since I grew up in Mendocino county on a small 9 hole course called Brooktrails which is also surrounded by Redwood trees but not nearly as beautiful as this gem👍👍👍⛳️🍻 Most of my vacations revolve around golf. Scottsdale area, Monterey, Florida, Hawaii, Palm Springs, etc and this course was packed with fun loving, non pretentious, cool people, which is a rarity👍

This one was my first and I watched it over breakfast - it was utterly majestic (the video, not the breakfast). Got to play here on my bachelor trip to Santa Rosa. Truthfully, it was my 1st time walking a round in the 5 years I've been playing golf, and what a way to spend a morning. We teed off around 8am, the ocean fog had rolled in, masking the towering redwoods and fairways. It was calm, quiet, and damp. What an amazing course and experience. The challenge of selecting the right club and being tactile instead of gripping and ripping. Pair that with walking up to each shot, taking in the beauty with each step. We found a raspberry bush thicket off of one of the tee boxes and picked a few for a snack. Just me, my best friends, and the ethereal views. What a round.

Erik, thank you. Your style and variety of content as it relates to the game of golf often transcends the game. 17:13 "Tell me about your dad". Is it the tone of your voice, the cadence of the words, or something else? I say all of the above. It's one thing to ask questions, but the best story tellers ask the first question, then let dialog and emotion dictate the rest of the discussion. We may not always realize what makes a particular course so easy to enjoy, yet we can't get enough. I feel the same about the content you create. Thanks!

If you love McKenzie, you have to check out his other course designs in the greater Bay Area. Meadow Club in Fairfax is private, so good luck with that. Sharp Park in Pacifica is a public, very affordable McKenzie and the best one, in my opinion, is Pasatiempo in the hills above Santa Cruz. Alistair had his house( still there off the 7th fairway) there too! Bring your 'A' game to all, they are classic courses!

You have captured something darling and true here. The spirit here makes me miss my grandfather that tried to show me this beautiful game.

I have been missing adventures in golf and have been hoping for another season. To be honest I almost gave up hope. Imagine my surprise when I found this video today. Very exciting to see. I have to say that this was well worth the wait. Such a great video and it touched me in a way that I can’t even begin to tell you. Thank you for all you do and inspiring me in the game of golf. Bless you all for the work you do.

Haha! I grew up here, played this course many times, It’s a nine hole pin ball machine! we referred to it as “Knock knock”. Beautiful place and those trees are not 90% air! Nice to see it getting the respect.

hahaha, yeah, the sound a golf ball makes thwooping a redwood there is unique to the world! I wonder if anyone has played that little gem without hitting a redwood? Probably not!

Really good job guys that was a very humbling video. I don't think I've ever teared up over a golf video before. I've got to plan a trip there.

Can’t believe the emotions this game brings. It’s all about people. We all have our own personal experience on the courses we play and we rarely forget the people we meet along the journey.

Dude, this may be your best work to date. What a slice of golf heaven. Thank you and your crew for the time you put into these features. 29 minutes of pure beauty and a history lesson to boot. The stories and the folks you capture on video make what you do so wonderful. Thank you again.

Simply beautiful Eric and what an incredible course! While I was watching it I was inspired to explore and play 50 different golf courses next year to celebrate my 50th birthday.

What a special place, made more special by the people that fill it on a daily basis. Great mini doc, this could easily have been an hour long!
