    Thanks for this very informative video. Do you know if it's possible to display lovely dashboard on the sf1000 screen using AC . Any help or advice would be most appreciated. Thanks and best wishes Brian.

      No, that cannot be done. SF1000 by Thrustmaster uses proprietary software, so there’s no option to run Simhub, unfortunately.

  • @marceloleonicio1320

    I understand that you can lock the angle. But as I know (and use) is leave it default, because ACC locks itself to the actual car angle. That way you have simetry while turning the wheel

    • @LovelySimRacing
      @LovelySimRacing  2 года назад

      Hey Marcelo, that's not actually accurate. ACC does not automatically set the wheel angle automatically. You still need to do it manually for each car.
      There's a list of car specific angles you can set, eg. I'm currently running the Aston Martin at 640, both on the wheel settings and ACC. And you verify that by comparing the virtual wheel and real wheel angles...
      I think Aris has the best video in regards to setting up your Wheel & FFB. Watch it here: ruclips.net/video/piOYitMD5YM/видео.html

      @@LovelySimRacing Really? Cuz I have mine at maximum angle and the car still turns max 450-520° depending the car. I saw that info in a forum. Idk if that changes depending what brand of wheel are using. Im on G923 and that works. But today im getting the TS-XW with the SF100, so I will test it later on Thrustmaster.
      Same happens on iRacing. When I config the wheel calibrating it, it sets at 900°. Even on a Formula. But still it turns 360, and locks my wheel on 360, even if its set on 900°. Same happens to me on ACC.
      Edit: As I remember, I think if u leave it on default on thrustmaster software and game, then thats the only way that ACC will take full control of it. But if you change it, then it will be manually. If u set the real angles of the car, it should be the same as default. Different is if u want to turn ur wheel less, with more turning on ACC, like, 90° on ur wheel will turn 450 on ACC, because u can do that

    • @LovelySimRacing

      @@marceloleonicio1320 There are two places where you set the angle. One is the wheel driver settings and the other is in the game. AFAIK, these are not required to match. As Aris states, you need to set the maximum angle on the wheel driver at a large number and then tweak the in game until it matches the virtual wheel.
      Essentially, the Wheel Driver settings will create a hard stop at the angle you set, where the in game angle will just align the virtual wheel to the real wheel. I like to have these both the same, which means making changes for every car, but I'm ok with that.
      Let me know how it goes on your end.

      @marceloleonicio1320 2 года назад +2

      @@LovelySimRacing That is what I meant. Worked for me leaving it on 900° on the game. The wheel will lock on its real angle. Some cars stops on 450° others like on 520°. And the wheel matches all car when turning. If my wheel is on 360, the virtual one will be too

    • @benjimc1
      @benjimc1 2 года назад +2

      Marcelo is right. Set the driver to 900 and set ACC to 900 and the game will automatically soft lock for you. I have a TSPC and this works for me. Also was the same when I had G29

    Greetings Mr Lovely!,
    Thank you for your wonderful dashboard and videos. I just ordered your racing jersey as a thank you.
    I tried to download the PDF for the SF1000 but it looks as if the link is dead. Is it still available?

    Do you know why the Thrustmaster SF1000 steering wheel does not show lap time, tire wear, consumption, but only shows rpm and km/h in Gt7?

    Hi have you had any issue with the screen freezing?

    • @LovelySimRacing
      @LovelySimRacing  2 года назад

      Yes, I have. Many freezes. It’s the bit in the video that I mention that there are known issues. I’ve contacted Thrustmaster and after a few email exchanges the resolution was that I send in both the base and wheel for a check.
      I do not believe that this is a hardware issue though. It seems more like a software problem.
      Having said that, I do believe that this wheel is a bargain for its price point. Also, it’s features are unmatched. I do think it still is an amazing wheel and would recommend it, but maybe wait until all the issues are ironed out.

    • @AGDyorkshire
      @AGDyorkshire 2 года назад +1

      @@LovelySimRacing thanks for that. I own the wheel already and agree even with its issues its my daily driver. Hopefully software updates will be released to sort the issue.

      @@AGDyorkshire I have since then moved on to Fanatec, but that move was mostly triggered by the need for a Direct Drive wheel. I actually wish I could keep the SF1000, but unfortunately that would require a lot of modding.

      I had the SF1000 for a half year but also had freeze issues of the screen on F1 2020/F1 2021. I did sent the wheel to Thrustmaster and receive it back, but still freeze issue. After a while i had a software update and that did fix the issue for me. As I am on Ps5, i decide to go to Fanatec DD Pro and with pain in my heart i had to sell the SF1000. It was a great wheel. For now, i am happy with the DD experience on Ps5

    sf1000 have gear problems and frozen screen problems, if you play on a ps4. Had the same problem on two sf1000 wheel add-on until I return it.
    If you buy T-Chrono paddles may solve the problem for a while, it work for me for 4 months.. but the problem always comes back at some point.
    Sf1000 has more problems too, if you own a T300-base then you will lose force feedback a lot.. you must buy a GT 2-base.
    If you play on a PS4 don't buy sf1000 wheel add-on. it will cost a lot of money for something that doesn't work and a lot of time.
