Something codemasters/EA could do with classic cars/tracks is to enable to race a championchip with only the cars from that year. E.g. we have seen the introduction of three cars of the 2010 season in F1 2019. They could add more rival cars of certain seasons or maybe (i know this is farfetches, but one can only dream) add the whole field of one year. And totally agree with Ben to do with classic tracks. Personally i believe any track codemasters have used in the past shouldnt be taken away from future games (such as Hockenheim, Malaysia and Hanoi for the next game) and that they should add more layouts of certain tracks( such as the Bahrain oval).

Me too I decided during lockdown in Australia (April 2020)to go with thrustmaster over fanatec , only reason was that I could afford a new rim or accessories $200 ro $350 on any given payday but fanatec (over $500 per item! )was just too much .....I'm glad I chose thrustmaster for sure and many rims and gear shifters and pedal upgrades later I've got quite a setup 👍 and also just recieved my ferrari SF1000 today , its been expensive but took over 1 year to build all this up ....as for the RIG have you considered making it? I got ideas online and built one from timber and some steel (painted Mclaren f1 colours ) the seat is from an early 2000,s Mercedes (leather and only $60 from pick a part (scrap car yard) but definitely worth considering because the prices for what you get for a Rig is just ridiculous as their priced to the professional driver and sim racer market accordingly (way overpriced for what you get) good luck with the rig mate 👍
Yeah so did I, and I'm purely a Fanatec user. Fanatec are bringing out next year's GT4 BMW rim, and it's so legit that it can be used in both the actual racing car and your sim rig. The marketing shows someone racing their BMW, then that grab the wheel pop it onto their sim rig and start racing. I have this strange feeling that it will cost ungodly amounts of money.

UDP is telemetry, mate. Communicates over a shared wifi network with games that support UDP telemetry. It's how the screen on the wheel knows what to show you.
I don't hope this wheel will have issue, I hesitate to buy it now, or wait his commercial release to avoid possible technical problems at the start of the series.
Yup, I'm with you on that. I have mine set up so that I'm looking through my wheel at where it would have been on screen. I prefer to have the HUD off as well, I have two tablets and an old phone I use to display all the info. Another thing that I just can't do is race in 3rd person (I've been calling it doggy style for a while now) with a wheel, my tiny brain just can't make sense of what seems like input lag. Too many years of driving real cars I guess.
Envious! It looks marvelous. You don't need the LED as much because you use cockpit camera in game and have a big screen. But most people use the tv camera adjusted, you can't really see the info on the wheel in the game that way. So for them it would come really handy.
The big and usefully very expensive custom wheel builders must be worried. I mean that quality is not like a 1500 bucks wheel, but it has all the bell and whistles you need for a decent F1 sim wheel for 20% of the price. Thrustmaster did a great job, it would have been nice if we could get one that’s not Ferrari branded for non Ferrari fans.
I have got the member card as well but when I scan it nothing special comes up, just the number on the card comes up. I dont know what I'm supposed to do with this member card.

in my opinion, this wheel is really well made by the looks of it but I think that the Shifterpedals are way to load compared to other shifters like Fanatecs and Logitech

Very cool periphery. This is the first video I think I've everv watched that shows someone using a wheel. I'm a noob on season 3 of F1 2020. Trying to learn how to shift and brake the car manually. It's a pain in the ass on a Dualshock PS4 controller. I may just have to take the plunge and go get a wheel and pedal setup. The wheel just seems more natural at first glance. More fluid. Just better.

It's currently bolted to a GT Omega wheel stand that I pull out in the front room to hook up to PS3, PS4 and now PS5. I have about 40 hours on the wheel on F1 2021 with PS4. I just picked up F1 22, did about an hour on the wheel on PS5 so far. As I finally got a PS5 a few weeks ago. I also got the first edition of the Ferrari TM add on. I haven't used it though. More like shelf art and I wanted the headset. Then the boom broke on it. Yay. Last but not least, I actually got a decent Razer headset. I have the SF1000 coming in a few weeks. I found it for $392 USD on Amazon. I'll probably be upgrading my laptop in the next few months. But I'm about ready to get back to making content for my own channel. Been busy with work and house/yard work projects. . You're correct about the wheel. I'm getting a little faster every time. Still kind of learning track limits and braking points, as I know that's where a lot of people are making up time, adjusting their lines to track limits and braking accordingly. At least on time trial with the Race Team cars. My biggest problem braking is I'm a truck driver. I've been driving a truck for 13 years. I'm more of an engine braker than a push the pedal to the floor braker with the big truck. As you're using gears and engine rpm to slow down in most cases. So I'm relearning how to brake to harvest energy for ERS. As soon as I get the SF1000 wheel add on, I'll be doing everything. But with the stock T300RS wheel, it's a bit hard to trigger ERS or DRS as I never really devoted time to remapping the functions. That will change soon. But it's very enjoyable. I just wish I had more time. It's fun getting faster. I'll probably upgrade to Fanatec in a year or two. But I need to build a gaming laptop and I'm waiting for prices to come down. Kind of why it's taken 2 years to get the SF1000. I wasn't willing to pay 5-6 times the launch price, for whatever reason. Patience isn't just a virtue these days. Have a great day, ttyl!
I’ve got 4 rims for my t300/t500 (retro fitted big chrome static pedals, great for road going lambo etc) with iPhone on both open wheel rim and Ferrari f1 rim. They are great using a dash app, same screens as on this wheel. But charging them after every session is tiring. Also have the LED display which I mount to the open wheel rim, perfect for when using the brawn. All these combinations of wheel rims with or without displays, works perfect for any car in PC2 (LMP1 is perfect with F1 Ferrari rim with iPhone 7 race display). I think when I get this it will be my main rim for f1 2020 when using a top 3 team. For other teams my open wheel rim with display is about right. Also it seems this new rim is a decent price, but will have to wait to buy it as it’s sold out here and not on Amazon yet! Got a 70” tv coming in a few days for my sim setup, so this rim is next on the list! I swear I spend more time deciding which rim to use with what display, than actually playing the games!! the biggest issue on the old wheel is the paddle is one piece and can easier bump the other side... can accidentally down shift
