there's something so surreal and almost mystical about surf music. the delayed reverbed guitar. the I IV I V chord progressions...the single note guitar melodies. It's all so soothing to my soul. I write and record music and am trying to pick up some surf music influences to include. I love the sound

Great music. Great musicians. This was what we listened to in 1963-64. It's called surf music. Nothing like it. Sandwiched in somewhere between the British Invasion and the hard rock sounds that followed.
at least you guys have a radio station tha plays this music ...here in houston we got none so we have to search youtube ! lol great music guys keep on playing !

Wow! These guys rank right up there with Eddie & the Showmen, the Torquays, the Challengers, the Ventures, real California Surf Instrumental music from the 1962 and 1963 years. Terrific reverb, amps and twang sounds of real authentic Surf splashed waves coming ashore.
I love this track even better live, The use of Jags puts a nice touch to the sound.

What I like about this is the sound. They get that great sound, and they perform live. Good guitar playing, and drums.

@abgdez Surf / Dragstrip music; absolutely a throwback to the Ventures and Dick Dale no doubt. These guys are most definitely the cutting edge of the Surf Punk scene circa 1961-62 caught in a time warp. Go back a check out old clips of the Ventures about at that time, it's uncanny the similarity.

Thanks for that. I'm really into modern surf bands who aren't American (I just think the genre is interesting.) Check out Messer Chups from Russia who are very cool and Los Meteoritos from Argentina (who may be the very best surf band ever.)
