    Thank you, I always thought the boom was the mast 🙄

    Hello Nico,
    Should you rig the evo14 the same way?
    Do you have tension the battens before rigging the first time?
    Thanks allot🤙

    Nice looking sails for this year Nico. Like that sailmakers are making sails with brighter colors again.

    Hi, bin am überlegen mir ein älteres Evo Racing zu kaufen. Bei den Größen 5.0 und 5.4 werden 370 und 400 RDM Masten empfohlen. Sind bei diesen Segeln die Camber anders (kleiner etc.) als bei den größeren Segeln? Kann man dann trotzdem bei den größeren Segeln bei denen ein 400/430er SDM Mast empfohlen wird RDM Masten fahren ohne Camber wechseln zu müssen?
    Viele Grüße

    i did not know we could actually put the rope inside the mast extender. won't that rope be rubbing against the mast?

    Sail is looking good, as always with NP. Maybe an idea for the next video: why is downhaul / loose leach so important and what is that doing? Albeau explained some of that in an older video, so what to do when… but not why it works like that.Looking forward for the next one. Keep up the good work.

    Please help, I bought the EVO XI in 11m2 for my formula board. With the help of your Video I could easily rig it. But I when de-rigging the Chambers pop out so loud that I am afraid I harm the sail. Is there a trick to de-rig it in a smooth way?

    • @Nico_GER7
      @Nico_GER7  3 года назад +1

      release a little bit of downhaul and then pop out the cambers by hand...

      @@Nico_GER7 great thanks will try that tomorrow.

    I always slide the top half of the mast in the sleeve first then connect the bottom half to the top, alot easier than trying to insert the whole mast as one piece.

    Nice Vid, but what about batton tension? And the sails looks like that it will not last longer than 2 years....

    • @Nico_GER7
      @Nico_GER7  5 лет назад

      True, forgot to talk about that. Will mention it in the video tomorrow 😁

    • @fvanhassel

      Nico Prien Hi Can you make a video about tuning the batten tension? Looks like the sail got almost no battentension out of the box. I searched for it but couldn’t find your video about it.

    Isn´t missing a little more tension on the outhaul ? coz it looks slack. Or u going to leave that detail to the adjustment video u mentioned?

    • @Nico_GER7
      @Nico_GER7  5 лет назад +1

      you can sand the camber if there is too much camber tension... with neilpryde we don't have that problem 😁

    What can i do when the Sail (the cambers) don’t Shift How they should?

    • @Nico_GER7
      @Nico_GER7  4 года назад

      Oh, I wish I could give you an easy answer. But it could be many things. Too much downhaul, too little downhaul, too much outhal, too much batten pressure, too much camber pressure. Would have to see your sail. Sorry :-/

    • @Kevin-tf4fl
      @Kevin-tf4fl 4 года назад

      Nico Prien immerhin weiß ich jetzt das man die Camber einstellen kann und ich glaub daran liegt es auch ich hab mir immer gedacht was die leute mit Spacern in den Cams meinten 😂😂😂😂

    • @Nico_GER7
      @Nico_GER7  5 лет назад

      Check mal, ob deine Latte gebrochen ist, bzw. sich ineinander schiebt und du dadurch keine Spannung mehr raufbringen kannst.

    You never rig camber first? Why not?

    • @Nico_GER7
      @Nico_GER7  5 лет назад

      Sure I Do... but it’s not recommended. It’s not the healthiest thing for the battens
