Very clearly explained and demonstrated. Helps alot, I now understand why my arms are usually working so hard lol. I've been very complacent about the harness positioning, especially when frequently switching between 6.5 and 7.7 sails and leaving the lines wherever I first set them!
Harness line length depends on harness type and sail sizes as well as conditions you sail in (gusty lakes, vs steady ocean). Waist harness users tend toward shorter length harness lines due to higher hook heights. Seat harness users tend towards 2-6" longer harness lines vs waist. due to lower hook heights. Person height and sailing conditions also are factors to consider harness line lengths. When in doubt = buy adjustable harness lines to find your comfort zone in length and harness use type. - Jon

Very useful for beginners like me thanks
Hey that’s my Tahe Technofoil board you’re stepping on!
Thank you for the video on the harness lines, very helpful 🤙
Thank you - really clear and helpful.
Great explanation
does sailing upwind & downwind affect harness' position?
Do wave sails requires shorter lines than free ride/slalom sails?
