Thx, great vid I'll be using you tips next time I'm on the water !
Thank you for the best lesson videos ever! Could you tell about right posittion of harness lines on the boom and the harness lines lenght?
Hi andris lipskis
Thanks for the post. I will be making a video on this subject.
Although harness length I would recommend that they are long enough that you can straighten your front arm while hooked in with your hands at shoulder width. If you can not easily straighten your front arm you might need to twist your body to face front more or get longer lines.
Thank you!

has some one tips for a beginner?
i have the feeling that the lines are to short.
i know the tip of putting your arm in the line and check if its palm height.
but then still i have the feeling its to short.
Hi there. Has anybody got an idea for exercises that help in learning not to put weight on the back foot?
Hey!
Could you please give me advice on harness length? I'm new to using a harness and I don't know how long it should be...
Thanks! :)
Dude just go out and try it. You will figure it out quick. If it's too long, you end up leaning back way too much. If it's too short, you won't be able to counter the wind pulling the sail. What's more important is trying to adjust harness length "in water". Keep on.
You forgot to mention to never get your hairdo wet.
im still to scared to use the harness
Yes, it can be scary. You might get "stuck" trying to get out. Also, getting "catapulted" into the sail....weeeee... Been there. You don't need it until you start "wrist cramping" which is quite debilitating. Then you will harness and be determined to master it. Basically, you must have full mastery of the boom and sail control. Have the ability to control with one hand, or two hands together and then work your body lean or body drop to control the sail. Keep on.
Those legs are fab - Danielle's
let me guess- public school boy? Still think it's ok to objectify a woman's body -grow up and show some respect - it's an instructional video!
@@rachelmaloney3863 its a compliment; chill out.
Both downwind and upwind give more control, downwind gives more control. Halfwind has the least control.
Bro isn't this bonaire?
Yes it is
