Slalom x is hard core windsurfing,love the format
This is just one of the best things in Windsurfing I have watched in a time. Björn is right: Welcome back to the old days when I enjoyed watching Slalom action. However, with the drone footage of today it is so much better. And most importantly every recreational surfer can relate to it, at least much more than all the insane double or triple loops., not to mention all those new school freestyle moves. Keep on doing!

Awesome explanation of how the races flow , easy for everyone to follow! Also very interested in the fin rake tip, I had no idea! Also great job Lars, for staying up and editing so late.
How do you tune the rake of the fin? Tightening one screw more then the other?

Great to watch. Remember watching Bjorn, Anders etc racing in Western Australia in the 90’s. This format reminds me of many Ledge to Lancelin races.
Great video report! ..although sure many of us watched it live. Very interesting with the sausage, I believe one more sausage AFTER the last gybe would make it much more exciting with a more uncertain result, since as you know we almost never have any changes after that last gybe. Also thanks for mentioning your top speed, gives a nice perspective to the race. Maybe it would also be possible to add board, sail size and wind speed info to each race you show in video? Would give even more perspective and engagement with your riding.

and the old man him self turned up an all time sporting legend ,so under recognized must hold the longest winning run for any sport ever , thought he would just say 'go fast' ,, his ace . Fun ,and yes drones make it very watchable .nasty to catch a fin full noise but ,and crashing from the air is the worst !!?.

Hi Nico, I love Slalom X. Great format and action. Even I'm still using my Fanatic Hawk from time to time which has been designed for super X, years ago. It's very interessanting that you changed the rake of your fin. Die anyone so before foiling? Looks Like this has been transfered now back to the fins. Good look for the next eleminations. Jochen

Hi Nico, what are you wearing on your ears during the races? Earspeaker for communication or listening to music?
Love the fins!!! But the mandatory jump feature needs a cooler name than 'sausage'.
It's nice to see the slalom fins having a good time. It wonder if it may be best just to totally separate the fins and foils in competition to end the angst. I'm likely the only one here who is not thrilled with the sausage, but I appreciate the fine tuning and skill of slalom racing too much to approve of the 'circus' element it introduces. I would like to know who is the fastest around the course, not who can jump slalom race gear the best. I hope Slalom X hasn't replaced 'traditional' slalom fin racing.
