Yes!! This is the best windsurfing action I’ve seen in a long time! Wave performance is intriguing for sure, but blasting chop in overpowered conditions is more relatable to me as an average windsurfer than pulling stalled double forwards. And look at the speed and control they put in! And I didn’t expect the sausage to be that good, but it sure works well! Love to see this brutal hardcore fin action where everyone uses a helmet for good reasons and are completely out of breath when they get back on the beach. Another thing: nobody is saying anything about the conditions than that they are excellent. True sportsmanship! Slalom X: success! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Poor Ben, got so excited he could hardly express himself...and who can fault him..this was epic, amazing, insanely good....it feels like christmas is here and the PWA have given us the best present ever..
Now this is what I’m talking about! This is windsurfing at its best! Love this slalom X! It has actually just made me realise how much foiling has taken away from windsurfing at the highest level over the past 4 or 5 years. I get it, foiling has its place (I suppose) but as a windsurfer of 37 yrs (I actually used to race with Ben as a kid/youth, haha) this is what I love, fins, mega winds and now obstacles, let’s gooooo! 🔥
Those slalom actions and the pace with which they were performed were excellent to see, and hear, and although an occasional mistake occurred those can happen to anyone.
Very exciting to watch fin racing! I watched most of the livestream on playback yesterday. really great. Feels like it used to feel. I hope more Slalom x in the future! Very nice editing of full day too.

Superb action with blistering speed, and a challenging sea pushing riders at the limit. Many epic runs! No need for the sausage when conditions are this good and spectacular. Just let the girls and guys fly on their fin. (Great coverage as always!)

Great action! I wonder if the final leg could be the other way close in to the beach with the finish out from the bunker, so they have to face some breacking waves going out? Something like the line the wavesailors take when jumping.
Amazing action, great conditions, and kudos to the drone operator - epic shots, great angles, so much better way to convey the speed, dynamic stance, starting line approaches...! I hope he will get to upgrade the equipment for more bitrate, the choppy water texture eats a lot of bandwidth...
Very nice races. The new format adds a great dimension. It seems the sausage should be wider. It would give more options to jump it and reduce likelihood of collision. And it would add more to the decision making from the rider.
They should put a bouy on the left of the sausage, if you don't want to jump to have to make a 360 around the buoy. That will make it more entertaining.
That was good, how slalom should have been all these years, improvements would be a change of course so that the riders are going out through the white water and waves. It does seem to be get around the first mark in the lead and you stay there and win and the excitement is 3-5 whereas the foil seems much more open racing. Overtake with fin and foil it's a much better set up than guys on fun and 9.0 sat at the marks sinking 🚀🚀🚀
Without sausage it wouldn’t be that exciting. Fin racing needs this elements and high winds. Cause without it, foil is delivering more thrilling and close racing. But both disciplines earn their spot in windsurfing. And guys both is real windsurfing, foiling too.
