@@pradithm it depends what kind of distraction like kids or people or if it’s your phone Nate recommend to use a lock cookie jar in one of hes videos u can’t open the jar unless u break it or wait to the time is up
Cut your to-do list in half. Take more breaks. Follow the 80/20 rule. Use your morning to focus on yourself. Tackle your challenging tasks before lunch.
*“You’ll watch an entire Netflix series even when the first episodes are slow just because someone told you that ‘it gets better’, but what if you looked at your goals like that and watched your life get better instead?”* Love from a small channel💙
Seinfeld was kind of slow the first couple of seasons - today there is not one single individual who has never heard of Seinfeld, pretty much all over the world ,,, 18 years later....
Thanks for the tips! I like that tip of setting times to check n' answer messages cuz I constantly refresh pages for new messages/emails/comments and reply to them and it's a really bad habit!! So thank you Nate
I started doing this with my business a couple of years ago and it made the biggest difference in my life! Allowed me to be so much more focused when I was working.
I've only watched one other video of yours and I can say you seem really down to earth, which makes watching these types of videos so much easier. On top of the great information you give. Thanks Nate.
I think the concept of tracking your time is so interesting! I would love to see where my time goes during the day. I love the concept of “eating the frog”. I’ve tried it out before and I always feel so much lighter for the day knowing that my hardest task is done.
For me it really depends on the nature of the frog. Like if the frog is really difficult academic work and I do it in the morning I get complacent for the rest of the day. If it's something like working out or procedural work then I feel relieved. I really enjoy the Swiss cheese tho and not thinking too much about the task ahead because it envelopes me in existential dread.
Right as I was reading this I noticed a cut in the video (6:47) but yeah it's impressive that he can go so long without cuts, he can probs film and edit a video in under an hour - now that's time management
this was actually a video worth watching, I feel like so many creators bring habits videos but this one was filled with research and actual tips. Good job Nate :)
Damn ive forgotten about this channel and forgot how great it is. It was one of the first financial channels i was watching when i began investing and focusing on my grind.
Will forever appreciate this channel, you have helped my family alot, you videos, advise, lessons are inspirational and helpful to us, my wife and I have been able to be minimal, conscious in spending, Saving and investing wisely. I know earn every week, you are such a blessing to this we all love you ♥️♥️
YOUR CHANNEL HAS TAUGHT ME WAY BETTER THAN MY SCHOOL. THANK YOU FOR BEING OUR CANDLE TO LIGHT OUR WAYS. HUGE RESPECT!!! YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION FOR US, TEENS, NEVER CHANGE! 😊
Great advice on productivity Nate. I like to batch out like-activities together and schedule them on my calendar. Batching could be checkin emails or texts or social media at certain times or recording new videos. We teach others how to communicate with us and how to respect us.
What Nate is saying is very true, count your days and i really mean pay attention to your time during the week , look at the bigger picture and underestand how your lifestyle works
The Swiss Cheese method reminds me a bit of the Kaizen method, in which you focus on smaller, incremental improvements over time that add up to large changes.
Indeed, but they can't be too small to be able to make a difference. Start with setting an alarm clock in the morning,, no matter if you have endless time available,,, unemployed, disabled.... This is the #1 thing that will contribute to make people be able to make the HUGE changes in the long run,, start with that,,, and the others,, bit by bite you will have the dream life
I count eating food as part of 'taking a break' from work, but I agree going out to eat or even cooking a complex meal can making eating take so up a lot of time!
Hey Nate i just know your channel like three days ago and its so helpfull for me, hope u do a video ab how can get rid of the distraccions and recommend a productive hobbies to do;)
I love this Nate ! I always felt that BALANCE is important in your life. I missed out on enjoying life for some years....working all the time. It causes BURN-OUT and can affect your health if you're not careful. I'm still learning how to work SMARTER :-)
Such an enriching video, thanks Nate. I really liked your initial tip of time tracking everything we do every 5 minutes for a couple days. I will start with that for sure.
Nate I love your videos and as a mom they are super useful on how to manage my time. First step for me is track my time and analyse where it is spent. Also I tend to respond immediately to texts and emails, so will start block scheduling :)
Pushing yourself is the trick, if it is out of the comfort zone, do it anyway... get up early, meditate, read that boring famous book,, look into your own money habits to see what you must improve,,, 1 good deed per day,,, walk the neigbour's dog if you have the time - Every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better - 😁
As they say..."Time waits for no man". Thanks for the elucidation of time management... now I realise why I never have much downtime. The mug was a nice touch, expertly colour coordinated, but empty :)
i love all your videos man !! i think it would be cool to see your approach on balancing productivity and minimalism while having a girlfriend or significant other;; balancing time and spending habits etc. im sure lots of us would love that video!
A good option to see is to take a look at your phone. I see that I use my phone too much. It is little by little, but they all add up. It also makes others things take further like getting ready for the day
I’ve watched several of your older videos about Roth IRA’s and decided to open one. I have a question though, should I start putting my money into a general investing account or a retirement account? And what is the difference? Thank you so much for the info you put out
Great tips, Nate ! Thanks ! I would love to see more videos like this one, it really helps me to manage my time and have a different, healthier perspective about productivity. Have a great week !

This does work pretty well
I have been using this as well lately. I don't like waking up early so getting myself out of bed in seconds does improve my day
