Amazing video, Nate!
The book that you referred (The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck) is really amazing, it changed my perception about the World and the importance of only caring about what is important.
That book should have been recommended in schools it would make a huge difference on the mindsets of many people!

That quote was by Bill Cosby; long before Ed Sheeran was born
Fear of criticism definitely holds people back, the moment you truly stop caring what people think is the moment you become free
especially when people doesn't actually disagree with what you are doing, sometimes it's just in your mind
BINGO!
This can be difficult to do at first, but it is definitely liberating! :)
Fear is a stronghold we need to make affirmations daily to avoid blockages this all cones from how we were raised and how independent we are there comes confidence

Love this one!
That is so true
@Imran A no it’s along the lines of “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
But why must people throw bricks in the first place? Peace.

Wow. This is definitely going into my list of favorite quotes.
The opinion is like an ass everybody have one.
Me.
wrong. there is an appropriate way to act in society. does that mean we're prisoners to what society thinks? no, it just means we're mature. obviously there is a fine line between slaving yourself to others and behaving appropriately, but do not mislead people with a quote that does not acknowledge those fine lines.
“You buy furniture. You tell yourself, this is the last sofa I will ever need in my life. Buy the sofa, then for a couple years you're satisfied that no matter what goes wrong, at least you've got your sofa issue handled. Then the right set of dishes. Then the perfect bed. The drapes. The rug. Then you're trapped in your lovely nest, and the things you used to own, now they own you.”

One lesson I learnt: more toppings on a pizza doesn't necessarily make it better. Simplicity is key.🍕
I like more toppings though :-p
But you get a better bang for you buck if more toppings is a dollar more
Well when the toppings are only meat, the more the better.
@@sujayshetty1618 lol
True when there is already meat, onions, cheese, olives, peppers, grapes and pineapple on a pizza there is no more room for kiwis
I think what he said about short term gratification is so spot on. The ability to discipline yourself to delay gratification in the short term in order to enjoy greater rewards in the long term is necessary for any true success!
“If it won’t matter five years from now it shouldn’t matter five minutes from now” is what I always say

Talking about not giving a f***, I often remind myself that we all literally live on a rock that floats in space, just think about it, it's insane isn't it and it really puts everything in perspective. Love this vid Nate 😊 so happy you are back!
And think abt how long you’re gg to live on this small planet for vs how long the Univers has existed 😂😂

My thoughts are a bit more morbid but when I’m sick of my own sh*t, worry, fear, stress, decisions etc... I say to myself... this is my only time here, my one life, it could be over next week, next year... get yourself together, be strong, and go after what your heart truly desires. What’s the worst that can happen? You fail? You’re rejected? You don’t make the grades or money expected etc? Ok... try again, pivot, switch directions, go after something new that is meant to come easy to you. Society boxes us into these stupid mind frames and expectations that imprison our thoughts and shrink us. Enough shrinking. GO AFTER WHATEVER THE HECK YOU WANT!!
Waits patiently for *Flat earther has now entered the chat* Lmao. 😂

Seriously, you should write a book! I would definitely buy it and I think a lot of people would. Keep up the great content Nate!
Think about how different the world would be if we were taught these things in school! Nate, you're young but you're wiser than so many adults, and a huge inspiration for both the young and the old. I really appreciate your videos!
Nate: "I'm probably not going to be making videos in just a few years."
Me: *Cries*
It’s crazy how mature he is at his age 😱
🙌🏻🤩
What I had to overcome myself was "Analysis Paralysis". Action is key to everything and especially in business and self development. It's good to analyze and have a plan, but don't let that process consume all your time and energy. Focus on getting started despite what other might think and your own self doubt!
And Good Luck to anyone out there trying to improve themself
I like this. Action helps you to not feel helpless. Start with just our posture is action & makes you feel better.
Damn @ me next time
I have issues with trying to make decisions and over think on what I should do and sometimes I'm hasty
Ashpyxiating Haha 😂
Darrell Simon Yeah I believe it’s all about balance 👍🏼 Finding the middle ground in analysing and executing is the key to successfully accomplishing your goals 💪🏼
Don't try to impress everyone and you will be happier!
Short, concise and precious words.. I will try to remember it everyday..
You are wise beyond your years, Nate!!
wow, usually with videos titled like this one, most people would say very vague things like live your life or learn about you purpose or something that cannot be put into actionable advice. But this one, I actually believe that you genuinely learned every last one of those lessons as they relate to your life, family and freinds. It just feels sincere and truthful. Things we don't get as often nowadays.
"short term gratification is inferior to long-term one" ... so true on many fronts 🙌🙏
You started out saying as you grow older you gain a lot of wisdom and I'm 22 and proceeded to give some of the best overall life advice I've ever heard. You may be young but have wisdom far beyond your years. I'm more than double your age and have only recently figured out much of what you said. I'm off to sharing this with my kids. Thank you Nate for providing such a positive and practical youtube channel.
I applaud you for delivering such an amazing presentation with minimal pauses/edits. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I agree with the art of reciprocating and having long term gratitude. You know your stuff!
This really woke me up. I felt all this and used to wonder I was alone with all this but listening you say all this made me really happy and comfortable.
Thanks Nate.
I used to fear criticism, but as I got older I see feedback as a gift to grow and get better. But, being raised as a millennial I seek for validation because I seek for a "good job" or pat on the back. Once I stopped caring about positive feedback I stopped caring about negative feedback.
Hello! good advice!
Wow, honestly when you mentioned our fear of uncertainty and connected that to trusting yourself a lightbulb went off in my head and now it’s like that whole problem is solved for me, I never thought of it that way. Thanks dude
Thanks man, social status is a big thing in peoples life, as soon as I cut out social media I stopped caring what others think and it made me pursue my goals, instead of goals I think others would be surprised about. I am much more successful after I cut out social status from my life, if they dont like me for who I am then why bother with them?
I’m trying my best to break the family cycle of life and work and so I created a RUclips channel! Almost 100 videos uploaded and grateful to watch it grow, thank you everybody for supporting!
Because of you, I have started reading more and brought my average screen time down from 10 hours to 3 never been happier and who knew the knew was less social media
When I started a RUclips channel I was worried what people would say! But now I think most people are supported.
Thank you for this video. Just got in contact with a few old friends and want to encourage others to do the same!! I’ve moved around a lot and have let a number of people slip out of my life. Once I realise it feels too late to get back in touch and I am too embarrassed to even try. If you are like me, know you’re not alone and just do it!
This resonates with my current situation a lot. I finally decided to quit my job to find my passion.
I can relate and understand every point mentioned. Sometimes we know something but we just need to be reminded. Thanks for doing that!
You rock, dude. One of my favorite channels right now. You're providing incredible value to thousands of people. Keep up the good work.
you're so well-spoken and wise! I like how you don't seem like you place a negative tone on others who may not have the same perspective as you. You describe them in an objective way, with an in-depth analysis of how their mind might work
I believe in you Nate, your RUclips channel is going to grow even more, you just need to be consistent and your family/friends will never ask you those type of questions again, keep it up man, you'll be very successful!
Looking forward to keep learning from your tips and lessons. Thanks Nate 🙏🏼
Your reflections on the real values in life hits the mark in my eyes. This is among the reasons I appreciate the wisdom you share.
Love this video! It’s so true. Fear is what stops us from doing what we truly want to do. We can’t predict the future but all we can do is do the best we can to live life to the fullest anyway. At times, we just have to take the jump and just go for it!
"If it is perfect, you are late"
Thanks to everyone, very good discussion.
You are so wise beyond your years! Every time I watch your videos I feel fulfilled. I think building relationships and reaching out to people is so important and is key to a different kind of wealth and happiness.
Transparency in growth on a platform like this is highly appreciated...no matter the age. I’m working on doing the same. Keep going! 💕
It is ok to be scared being scared means you're about to do something really really brave .
Hey ,you should do a podcast, your voice and content is 🤩🤩
Great idea 💡
All the challenges that I’ve faced, I look at them as details that just needs to be worked out that’s what I’ve seen.
Sometimes we’re not always right but humbleness & the right attitude will determine your altitude.
Thank you man its really nice to hear you speak about things that are going to help a lot of young people who are struggling in these areas
I love when other successful people or you tubers spread the information to others. Thanks for the advice.
I love seeing these young ppl being wise and living a good life
One of the lessons I have learned so far is to be better united with family on very important matters.
The fear of unknown and people criticizing me has always put me fall backwards in life, but thankfully, I learned to grow out of it. Also, every day I spent the huge portion of my life thinking about how people treated me in the past; little unimportant things that some people say or do has significantly impacted me, and it consumes so much of my time and don’t know how to get out of it. Your videos are therapeutic for me. 💕🌸
You have no IDEA how much I benefit from your videos
Like they’re soooo helpful
i am shook by how wise you are for your age, nate! keep up the great work and thank you for giving this world this much-needed reality check 👏👏
Been binging your videos since yesterday. So happy I came across your videos. You feel like an old time friend🤍
I love that you mention how important travel is! I agree!
Hey man, keep it on track, you're great. You're actually helping me out with my English.
I agree with you 100% that fear of criticism can be devastating. Especially from those close to you. For me it started from child wood. Each time I wanted to do something I would face ridicule and criticism. But I had to develop a thick skin and forged ahead in the face of all negativity. My mentor said if you want to do something worth while in life, you meet 96% of people who criticise and try to pull you down. Hence the successful in life are in the minority. Thanks for sharing that great content Nate.🔥🙏👍😀
Thank you so much Nate for all the free advice.
I truly know more about how to change my life to the better just by watching your videos.
Your head is on so straight! I will never worry about you succeeding!
Everything you said resonated with me. I think all but 1 or 2 points are how I already live my life and it was reassuring to hear someone else with the same mindsets. Getting out into the wilderness and resetting/unplugging is paramount. And “The Subtle Art” is a book I highly recommend as well. I’ve gifted it to friends because I think it has the ability to cognitively free a person. Thank you for your videos🙏🏼
Your videos bring me so much peace. ❤️
Thanks for these! Definitely some significant things We can consider in all of our lives
my man that's my favorite book so far. very informative and inspiring it talks about how simple life should be. Great book.
Thank you Nate, you're amazing
last time I visited you had around 200k subs and now look at you omg! couldn't be more proud and happy for you brother! just finished watching this content and gave my 10,512 like. Gonna watch a couple of your other videos in a bit. Thanks for everything man! bless you
I really agree with the last part of What Nate just said, sometimes we don't really know what we are going to do in the next few years. But the most important thing is to trust ourselves that we will figure out on the way and adapt everything that comes to you on the path of life. Thanks Nate,
Be a good and intelligent person while you live. Good things will come your way.
This video is awesome! I love how sincere and authentic this guy is. Everyone should know these lessons!
Hey Nate I really struggle as far as getting angry at little thing. You're so right things are only how we make it out to be. Sometimes I still think about negative things that happened years ago and in reality, they don't really matter. They only matter as much as I make them to be.
Wow Thankyou! Your videos are so wise. Blessings from Minneapolis 🙏🏽✨
Your videos are all about quality. I've tried to bring about change in my habits since the time I've started watching your videos.
I like your simplicity and attitude of always learning. Only when you trust yourself/ have faith in yourself can others do the same for you. And themselves. Inspiring with a growth mindset.
Life is a learning journey💯💯
I was 1 second quicker than you. Lol.
Wow love these life lessons!!! People definitely need to talk about the life they want more and they need to stop thinking about what others think
You have such great wisdom and character. Another tip that could tie into this- follow your gut instinct about people/situations. We sometimes try to outsmart it thinking this time it'll be different, or give people the benefit of the doubt, but in the end we wish we would've just listened to our gut.
When I saw the title of this video pop up I’m like oh great another kid is gonna bless us with their knowledge because they’re all that.
But Nate is different. I appreciated how he opened his video with the disclaimer that he is still young but that these are things that have helped him. Good job Nate. Love your videos. Keep it up!
I don’t think anyone will see this, but it you do I hope you have a lovely and blessed day ♥️
Attending college this year and this video is going to come in very handy. Great work.
Love the point you make about materialism vs real things such as relationships. Thanks for giving some reflection time to your viewers!
Omg, I have the book!!! Gonna dust it off and get to it!!! And yes, travel! Go by yourself, preferably overseas, and you'll truly expand your mind.
Taking the road less traveled is so very important! Awesome message
Your insight is just wow.. Incredible. Absolutely, I agree. Mental riset is really needed to face how cruel the world is, actually how cruel people try to judge others. Thanks Nate.
You are amazing.. thank you for all the effort you put in these videos. God bless you..
Thank you so much for this valuable information Nate!
Tthanks for the transparency and sincerity!
Dumb 😖😖
Wise words Nate - things I've leaned way later in life that you! - thanks for sharing the care!
Less is more. Your advice is golden! Love your deep insight Nate.
Glad you started by acknowledging your young life. It is a good disclaimer before you start your lecture. It helps people receive you openly
It is true that whatever would happen we should trust in ourselves. Thank you.
Man, 300k more you'll reach your 1 million subs. Something about your video I'm really amazed. It's so simple yet people stay and listen. Sometimes it feels like an audiobook.
Everything you talk, just makes so much sense.
Nate should really create an ebook talking about all his wisdom and experiences. Sometimes I just turn on his videos when I'm cooking or doing other tasks so I can listen in the background. If it wasn't obvious, I love your vids lol
Nate! Nate! Nate! .. sooo love the content you put out MAN! Please, please please keep educating us!
I have changed so much as a person after my financial aspect of my life was fixed.
One expresses himself differently after one key area of life is figured out. Much appreciation and THANK YOU! :)
Wow! I love this video. It couldn’t come in a better time. Thanks Nate!
You've got a good attitude towards life Nate, so by the time you're my age you'll be incredibly wise! And hopefully really successful ( by the sounds of it you'll be able to make good choices that'll benefit your life in the best way possible to create your own stability and success).
Just be yourself, have a moral compass, be on the right side of life by upholding your standards and choose your friends ( especially partners) wisely is the advice I'd give. It's good to be kind as long as you're not allowing others to take advantage of your kindness ( I think discernment is really important!) but being good human being is important in life especially when it comes to karma. Yeah, don't sweat the small stuff!
Great video!
Love the information you supply on your channel 👏👏 Really grateful
Thank you for sharing ! It's really useful. I wanted to strike that, and you kinda mentioned it when you said that people may ask question like "how can you build a brand in a such economic situation" or "okey, today it work but it's not sure it will survive the next economic crisis, what are you gonna do?" and stuff like that. People who actually are doing that, are trying to develop in youself "the feeling of culpability" and they use one of those 3 tools. 1- make you feel guilty (like how can you be so happy in a world where so much pain exist ?) 2 - make you loose your self-confidence (like how can you be so sure that people would like and buy you product? you should keep your regular job) and 3 - feeling of fear (did you thought about the fact that if your business doesn't work you gonna loose all your money and sleep under a bridge ?) Those questions only reflect those people fears and if we pay attention on them (what I was used to do until now) we just loose our self confidence, inner ressources and feeling of freedom and happiness. That is the biggest lesson I've learn throught the last 20 years, and the undestanding of this just came to me Today.
This young man is one of the wisest man on the internet... I wish I can have a a friend like Nate....
I'm Brazilian. I'm using your channel to practice English listening.
I'm still very surprised to this day that Most of his videos are in one take.
