Comparing the lights side by side, thank you very much. I'm now opting for the Stalk model due to the 'flood' type light. I want something for close in, inside the vehicle, map reading, minor admin stuff.
Ok, so the black screw that comes with those mounts screw in the steel shiny parts and the black screw will come out the other side which needs to be set in the holes so the screw sticks out and locks it in place. Hard to explain but i figured it out.

So you can only stobe with the main light on?
The IFF strobe works independently of the main light.
