    I'd love to be able to just get one of those heads and toss it on my Unity Remora + M300V setup

      That’s what I’m doing with the Remora, about the only way to mount the light if your ear pro is on the ARC rail. Couple more weeks on back order and I should have it.

    This light is like my girlfriend. From behind - it's all good. But when she turns her head -------> VAMPIRE!

    Gotta love how he added the screenshots of the website for the mounted light and in typical TNVC fashion it shows to be "out of stock", lol. These people can't keep shit in stock to save their life.

    To rotate the bezel do you have to pull outwards? The standard km1-d heads do but it does not look like you had to. Also I bought a normal km1-d head about a year ago but the low mode is the single tap and double is high.

    • @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION
      @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION  Год назад

      Rotate only. No pulling. The standard V1 is single tap high and double tap low.

      @@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION Interesting the head I have requires a pull outward to rotate. But it is single tap low and double high. Its a standard head as far as I am aware. Not having to pull outward would be way better though.

    It seems like a pretty good idea.
    My custom built edc flashlight is set to 0.3W, as it's the best setting for situations where I use a flashlight.
    It still uses the 5W led that I originally selected(first cree xp-g in a high cri bin). After enjoying how bright it is for a while, I just set the driver to lower and lower power levels with each real world use.

    Why can’t they make a vampire light with a 600 or 1000 lumen white light? I had an m600v and it was pretty weak I thought. The IR was pretty good though.

    • @jesuschrist8069
      @jesuschrist8069 5 месяцев назад

      they have one, but its not the best for helmet mounted, because if you want alot of light its best to use your weapon lam. for helmet mounted your doing close activities, and alot of power can cause splash, and few other issues.

      @@Slippindisc I just checked my bad the m640v is only 350 lumens white light on high. That’s a sure fire flashlight with ir function.

    Does your vari-arc mount rattle like crazy? I took mine off because it didn’t hold the light still, and it made it stick out too far also

    Any recommendations to run this same task light with a wendy 2.0 rail? I see that s&s has a wendy mount, but I was curious as to your input? So the variarc will accept mlok? Thanks

    Question regarding ECOTI and the new TAD (ECOTI lite) revealed at shot 23. When used on a PVS-14, and the ECOTI/TAD is turned off, will the off ECOTI/TAD projector obstruct the view when looking through the PVS-14 making it hard to see the through the tube?

    • @NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION

      No, it does not obstruct the view.

      @@NITEWALKER-NIGHTVISION Ok great. I have my PVS-14 Supergains on order and saw the reveal of the TAD. So which setup, with your experience, would you prefer... a PVS-14 with a TAD/ECOTI or a bridged PVS-14 with a thermal such as the Iray MH25 or FLIR Breach??? Thanks in advance.

    The website doesn't state the wavelength of the IR led.
    Is it visible to the naked eye?
