  • Hi everyone! I’m so happy to share the news! On June 23, 2021, Adobe launched a comprehensive 3D collection of apps that includes integrated 3D workflows and content. This collection includes 4 apps covering texturing, and staging, plus asset libraries and services. If you liked Adobe Dimension, Stager will be your new best friend. This video is about how I created this project using some of the brand new Adobe Substance 3D tools and most importantly Adobe Stager.

Seems stager was trying to combine some feature from blender with dimension. The interface looks really similar with DN, surprised it's not included in the 3d basic plan even if people have to pay extra on top of the cc package. They could've just switch DN in the cc package so people can try out with their subscription and someone who wants more advanced painter and such could top with the 3d package. Not to mention the learning curve with all the extra apps, no animation feature available. I'm still learning dimension and have a feeling that DN will be isolated (with it's limited feature and not much into development from adobe) once more people switch to stager. Why adobe can't offer one 3d software that has more powerful features so there is no need to switch between one software after one after one. I'm already confusing just by their apps' names.

nice, have you tried it with some sort of gem or jewelry like diamonds, ruby or so? the glas is looking good but I haven't seen any example with jewelry materials

There are some new settings for that. Like how much the light is broken inside the glass and stuff like that. Very interesting!

Nice work! Please can you tell us what are your computer configurations?
Mine's a Quadro P2000 with Intel Xeon and 16gb RAM and it sputters while working on Substance Stager.
    Thanks!

@@erin758 It wasn't even close to 4000 what I have at home... By the way which other 3D software do you use that doesn't need a stronger PC?
