Agreed, it’s definitely a little pricey. Not sure if they ever do Black Friday deals, but my buddy at Penguin Garage might know more about that.
2004 To 2008 are the best looking ones.2009 to 2010 looks like all the other Mazda lineup of its time.
Looks are always subjective, but I get where you are coming from. I think I prefer the facelift from 2009+. Particularly like the R3 styling. But I also love the Shinko styling from the first gen.
Would a standard rx8 shift knob still work on it? If not do you know its thread size?
No the standard RX8 shifter thread is a lot smaller. CAE appears to be M12x1.75.
