Everyone loves to see the high speed, low drag gun videos. What most really need is the basics, done right. You sir nailed it. Incredibly well done instruction video, you are obviously a master of your craft, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Eric - this is pure gold! I love the way you show the different positions slowly and with exaggerated movements. I've been in law enforcement for years and SWAT but you have just motivated me to get more precise with training all these elements of the carbine. Great, great, stuff brother!
I'm digging the tomahawk/hatchet on your belt in some of those vids. I was a Reconnaissance Marine who fought in the Fallujah battle 2004 and lots of my boys had those strapped on because of the nature of that fight.
Oh and BTW I love the lunar concepts hot pocket on my DD M4V7. Your channel is where I first saw it. I think I'm going to switch from the blue force sling to theirs also.
Really appreciate the talk on muzzle discipline. I think that's a huge part people overlook. I finally got into a good gun club due to the public range being out of cellphone range & some people having poor muzzle control. Also it has pistol, skeet & 3 gun competitions. Love training there. Great content, stay safe & God bless. 🇺🇸🫡
Am from the UK, and no matter how many times we email guys in the US, we just get ignored. Maybe because we don't have our own weapons, etc, I don't know. Am an Ex British army Sniper and sniper instructor, frequently visiting the US, North Carolina to be exact, and all I want to do is train but no one ever answer my emails to give us/me a chance. That being said, great content buddy awesome transition drills.
@barrelandhatchet got a ton out of it man. Rednecks like me are just waking up a day late to a day where we do not have enough tactical doctrine under our belts to be useful to good men of there was an emergency. Much appreciated. Shared with some friends. Carbine drills, skills, and use doctrine if you have the patience for it
Great video! Speaking the fundamentals but also demonstrates these methods helps build that understanding. Enjoyed older videos but would love to see some of topics redone in this format. I learn a lot from these videos.
I dropped the $600 on the lifetime membership. I tried to use the message icon to ask a couple questions like two weeks ago and got no response. This past week I also tried to use the message icon and have received no response. Yes I Checked the junk mail folder too just in case. That’s a good amount of money to drop on something and then have no reliable line of communication
That is the PAPR unit from Mira Safety. It forces air through the filters into your mask to minimize fatigue on the user from have to force air through the filter directly on their mask
I was hoping this wasn't going to have things like "night vision shooting" in it. Sorry, but a lot of us are poors. I'm supporting a family on one paycheck so unless it's a future lot drop I'm not getting any. Good to see it covered things that EVERYONE can practice.
When "emergency reloading", you would save quite a lot of time if you keep the muzzle pointed at the threat, cheek kept on stock. Practice this and you'll find it is much faster, and it keeps your eyes on the threat. Furthermore, you don't want to be so close to the barrels. Spalling is a very dangerous thing and a killer in real-world scenarios. Keeping away from the barrels also is tactically better as you can maneuver easier, as well as have better vision and awareness on both sides of the barrier.
6:38 so glad people are starting to cover this silliness. I see people (civilians) training from this “low ready” like they will ever be in the same position as a police officer or military. We as civilians do not have the option to walk around with a rifle pointed so far down range in 99.99% of defense scenarios. We will most likely have to be in a real low ready position until a verified threat is shown.
No one ever covers how to fix there problems on the fly. You can’t be effective as a minute man if you can’t fix the double feed, stove pipe, and failure to breech. If I was a RUclipsr that’s what I would teach
Great info combining the best of military & "aftermarket" training, plus you are a southpaw which is helpful to me in scoping not only your technique, but your loadout for various scenarios. Thanks for sharing your expertise...
Two seconds in and god damn I love this studio/ lighting setup 🔥
Hahaha thanks brother. Roy has been working hard with Seth to get it going good while I was In Maryland teaching a class!
Looks like he's in a cabin with candlelight, pioneer way with the smooth bore pistol on the table👍.
We are finally getting the aesthetic we have been looking for

Sling manipulation is what I struggle with.
Thank you for touching on this topic.
Do you use a 3 point sling?
Excellent production and content. Thanks Eric!

He must not ride in vehicles with his hatchet, looks uncomfortable
@davidb9323 I agree with that, our guys usually had them setup a little differently. It's definitely not the easiest thing in the world to work around
I wish they had let me keep my M9 sidearm from the military I absolutely loved those. Best gun I ever used for target practice (at least pistol wise)

Glad you were able to get something out of it! Train on my friend
Love the talks and the new room looks good. Also love how you got a hatchet on your rig.
I really emjoyed this. i wish i had a place like this to train....

Great demos to go along with the commentary. Super helpful 👌
This is great content!
Mad respect
Solid advice.
Thanks for watching
Very informative
Just wam bam dropping the knowledge I seek 🙏🏆 presented so well
Thanks so much for watching
I don’t understand the purpose of shooting right side of cover with zero attempt to conceal yourself.
Trex Arms sling has been the smoothest I've ever used. Worth a try.
Good info as usual!
Thank you brother 🤙🏻
Thanks for your support brother. And thank you for being in the BHTG community
Great video gents!
Thanks for being apart of the BHTG community!
The way things are going, we will need a nunchuks class very soon. Just our regular gear won't be enough. Time to get serious lads. 🌴✌️😎👍
Hahaha Roger that
I loved nunchuks as a kid. I used to make them all the time.
Haha I used to watch dudes that used them
Wonderful content. The fundamentals are very hard to itemize all in one place, especially for new shooters. Keep it up
That’s a nice aurebesh tattoo brother, have one myself!
new sub brother, carry on.
Thank you sir!
You bet!
Great video!

Thanks, great info!
Glad it was helpful!
Southpaws unite! Great video man. Liked and sub’d
Sling manipulation is the biggest thing out there. Hoping to do more carbine in 2024. Year is pretty full with competition pistol matches.

A motorized(?) filter system for the gas mask he's wearing. Not sure what level/type.

How much ammo for a carbine class?
450-500 rds
