@@InfinityDrones yes, i'm aware of that. last years i did my dji fpv allso. i did have the mavic 2 pro, but that time was not able to hack altitude and nfz. i sold that. alllso tha mavic mini 3 pro was a great drone( with plus battery) but this air2 is my favorite and even i'm still able to use the smart controller 😜

I just got a new in box non activated Magic Air 2 with firmware 01.00.0250
On the bird map it says no. But most newer versions says yes with license. So do I upgrade the firmware to the latest, then downgrade?

Hi there. You can flash to the latest then use the steps in the video. It's just easier that way.
I have the hack working on an AS2 with DJI RC. There is one nasty bug when you fly out of range and disconnects from RC. The drone initiates RTH fine but a few seconds after it reconnects, it throws a white warning screen covering the whole display. That screen doesn’t go away and you won’t see the FPV live view. You can cancel RTH and fly it normal but no live view.
Could you please take a screenshot and send it to the Dronehacks support. I've never heard of this. If this happens in the future, please turn off your RC and turn it back on to see if that fixes your issue.
@@InfinityDrones Yeah I've sent them a message about it and they are aware of it. But yeah, rebooting the controller will get rid of that nasty bug. Just have to be careful when loosing connection and regaining. Have you tried it with the RC-N1? Not sure if it’s only with the DJI RC.
@@rubengarciajr7560 Personally, only with the DJI RC. So let me just confirm - does the goggle view and the phone screen just go white?
@@InfinityDrones I don’t use the RC-N1 with a phone so I’m not sure if it does on that. The RC though it pops up a white screen saying the aircraft is not compatible with device. The good thing though is that it does that only when you loose and gain the connection. It’s not like some random time that can occur.
@@rubengarciajr7560 you really need to connect your phone. Please let me know if you can see on your phone. It's also a good idea for safety and others can watch while you fly too.

@@InfinityDrones As a side note, while the downgrade was in progress I got lots of popups that DJI something or another needs to restart the computer. Of course I ignored it but something to be aware of. I followed your tutorial exactly, it was great. I didnt do the FCC hack because im in the US. Any reason not to do it? If I go to Canada (I do often) will my drone change power output? I think I will do the FCC mod just to be sure.
@@wilddude73 Mmm that is very strange. I know typically it is recommended to restart your PC after a driver install. I wonder if that could have been it.
Yeah I would enable fcc mode just in case you ever go to a place that is not fcc area. That way you can avoid ever being in CE mode.
@@InfinityDrones I saw what @wilddude73 was talking about also. It's not just the message to restart after the driver install. While you're downgrading it tells you to restart your pc a few times as well. I ignored it and it downgraded fine.

Currently the latest version of the app is supported, so you don't have to worry. But I would recommend that you disable auto updates.

Its because you do not have a dronehacks license. You'll need to buy one first.

Its not fully clear if I can downgrade fully to unlock all the good stuff for my DJI FPV. I see "DOWNGRADE TO RECOMMENDED FIRMWARE POSSIBLE (LICENSE MIGHT BE NEEDED)" so possible? So is this saying if I buy a license you should be able to get my 01.02.0015 drone to 01.02.0000 so I can use all the good hacks?
Hi there. I have a full tutorial on the dji fpv on version 1.26 of dronehacks. Hopefully it will give you more clarity. With dronehacks you can downgrade your fpv drone and get all the good stuff yes :)

After the mod there is nothing else you need to do. Everything will be set. Just never update the firmware of the drone (you can update the controller firmware, just not the drone's firmware). You can update the dji fly app, but please DO NOT update the drone's firmware otherwise you will loose the mod and you will need to re-do all the steps in my video to re-apply the mod again.

I don't know why, but my drone is only working in CE mode (even here in Brazil the band is FCC), I can only use FCC if I use the free hack and even then I have to do the procedure every time before flying (it gets tiring ), I would like something definitive, you know? Hi there, yes this tool covers the Air 2S. My last update video of Dronehacks 1.31 covers all the steps. I really recommend that you download 1.33 and follow the steps in that video

No need. You can update your controller if you'd like. I just recommend to never update if its not absolutely needed.

I have just come across this channel so this has probably been asked before but I am new to droning but I would like to ask... if I hack my mini 3 and lose it will I invalidate my DJI protection cover when they ask me to send them my data?
Hi there. The mini 3 is not currently supported. We hoping to have support for it soon. Any aftermarket mod that you do to any product will void warranty. I have heard of guys sending their drones to dji and they were replaced without any issues, but have not personally experienced this because dji does not offer dji care in my country.

Hello, I activated my dji fpv via the dji fly app. The version of the drone is version 1.02.0000 and the goggles are version 1.02.0001
Now I have the message telling me to upgrade in the goggles. What should I do knowing that I'm already on the correct firmware version ?
Do you plan to have any other fpv drones? If you dont care about the custom built drones then you can update your goggles to the latest and greatest and ti won't affect your drone's hack. If you do plan on getting a custom built drone then I would say you would need to just root your goggles before updating. That way you can atleast go back to an older firmware version in the future if you want.
Personally... I would just update and not worry about rooting since all the new dji fpv stuff is what you'll want anyway and I can't see you buying older stuff.

Nope. The hack is in the drone only. So just don't upgrade the firmware on your drone.

Take a look at what the drone hacks application says. If it still does not show the correct firmware you'll need to flash again. Don't use DJI assistant... It might force you to update and you'll loose any mods you might have.
I have a question about nine or ten months ago I bought a license but I didn't successfully. Jailbreak my drone and I got nervous, and right away I upgraded to the latest firmware version. Which at the time was 9.20 and noticed that there was no downgrades after I did this so I really never got to use the license to jailbreak my drone. Now that I see that the firmware versions can I still use the license that I bought 9 months ago on the same drone.?I have thr mavic air 2 on version 1300.which is the latest one. It seems to be downgrade able. My question is can I use the license that I bought last year

Hi there. Watch the video, if you did you would know that the mini 3 is not supported as of yet and you can go back to the birdmap often to check if that status has changed.
I keep getting this error.. needs ADB… seems that the software was not able to download the needed adb framework.

Can you try it on a different machine? It might be that something on your pc is blocking it. Remember it does not support iOS

I even bought two hacks for two different drones and can’t get either to work. I will try and find another machine. The issue is I’m in Argentina in the mountains and I don’t have a PC

They are trying their best, however... Why are you updating the firmware? You should only ever update if absolutely necessary

If your drone has a licence linked to it then no, you do not need to buy again. Just know the license is linked to the serial number and cannot be transfered to another drone.

hello i have the air 2s and very upset about the update and now i cant fly my drone anymore if u purchase the license from drone hacks would i be wasting my money or will it work im worried that i wont be able to figure out the process to downgrade my drone to the proper firmware guess im just looking for some reassurance ?
Hi there. The Dronehacks process is super easy. I have a video specifically for the air 2 series and yes you can buy a license and load the correct firmware. This will allow you to to fly anywhere.
On the Fly app the DH aircraft unlocking license says it's valid from 2020 to 2030, so does that mean we all have to buy a new license in 2030?
The license can only go till 2030 in the app. It's a dji fly app limitation. Don't worry the license is for life.
I have successfully used Drone-Hacks several times on different drones, I just can't seem to get the new driver installed properly it seems. Any ideas?

Currently the Mini 3 is not supported. We hoping for a future update that will enable Drone-hacks to support the Mini 3. The firmware is on the drone and it does not touch the remote.

Yes you can. Air 2s has a bug, you can use the 1.35 version and it will work

I just purchased a new DJI Air 2 S and the installed firmware is 02.04.2500 Will buying a license enable me to get NFZ and altitude level hacked? I downloaded DH 1.33 and it will not run on my Windows 11 inside of Parallels Desktop. I had 1.29 previously installed and it loads fine, but 1.33 will not. I just checked the DJI Fly Version and it is 1.9.4. Does this mean I am unable to use DH Companion to enable FCC mode? cheers
Hi there, I recommend that you get to a pc and not simulate it inside your Mac. You can downgrade your Air2S to the recommended version, so you don't need to worry. Really recommend getting to a pc hey... that way you never need to use the companion app ever again. Just worth it.

On that firmware there is an intermediate firmware that needs to be loaded. Have you loaded that?

Hi. What a shame - the dh_driver_installer.exe will not install. It keeps 'timing out'. I have tried to restart the machine several times to clear anything in the cache but nothing happening. Simply fails. Do you have any advice please? I am using a Windows 10 laptop. Thanks, Lee

Air 2 does not support Air sense only the air 2s - Air Sense comes standard with the air 2s firmware and works just fine

Ok so after few tries the software did succeed to enable FCC mode, but since theres no way to check (i guess?) I'll see it tomorrow. But the drone is on 01.02.0014 version, i wonder, is that ok?
There is a way to check. I have examples in the video or in my dronehacks 1.29 video. On the Dronehacks website you can also click on the hacking tab and there are examples of how to check if you're in FCC mode

Good morning, can you remove the error (calibration 4011) after changing the gimbal and calibrating your drone?
If you've changed hardware... The only way remove the error is with special dji center software. It you can take the camera (actual camera unit) and the put it into the new drones gimbal assembly.
So I think I have the same problem here I'm having a problem with my Jimbo it works great but there is no video transmission to the screen after a crash on a soft field of grass I was wondering what this joint hacks is there a way to fix that or if I buy a new gimbal does the arrow goes off of the screen
@@sousarogers you might have damaged the video ribbon cable. I would send to a local repair shop and have it fixed

I can't give a date obviously but I feel its not far away. The fact that the Air 2S has been unlocked on the latest firmware must mean that the Mavic 3 and mini 3 is in good stead to be unlocked too.
their blog does mentioned this about the mav 3, "We know many of you are waiting for news regarding newer drones. An update to the Mavic3 situation, especially the M3T. We decided to currently NOT continue work on this drones due to obvious geopolitical reasons, at least for advanced features like NFZ/Altitude removals."

is it possible to use the DJI rc controller with the built in screen with drone hacks? becuase it requires the latest firmware for the control i assume... so to downgrade with firmware on the drone the controler would not work? i do not have the original controller so im hesitent to use dronehacks with only the built in screen RC, thanks for any help guys

Will this void my DJI warranty/fly away protection etc.?
If you mod anything the warranty is usaully void - however in my experience I've always been able to flash back to stock firmware without any issues. I've also had drones that have been modded go in for repair and comeback without any issues. I'm not saying that will be your experience, it was just mine.

My Air 2s w/DH was an older FW and just wasnt taken care of as well as the one i bought first and updated, but i was afraid id lose my FW and DH license if they updated it. It needs camera gimbal mounts but also it needs a front obstacle camera, so i dont know how that works.
Any chance the M3P or Avata might be able to have NFZ's removed one day in the future? Im tempted to update it but i did the one in the beginning and so far they havent added anything so i dont even bother..

After I downgraded and installed the firmware 01.02.0000 for my DJI FPV racer, the altitude limit to 500m remains the same, I did exactly as you explained in the video. Any tips?
Log back into the Dronehacks application and redo the mods - then check if the mods are active. Please check out my Dronehacks 1.35 video for the steps. Please let me know if everything is working afterwards.

Big thanks for this tutorial! There is an issue when I choose the firmware to downgrade my air 2s, I could tell the drone restart immediately and reconnect the computer, but then the info says "Downgrade failed,Make sure all drivers are installed correctly and no firewall/anticirus software is running, I did close all the sofrware and tried all USB ports but still can not work, could you help me with this?
checked drone's version is not the latest, try your 1.25 update video steps but the ThinkAwesome v1.31 can't read the downgrading file,😭

yes you can use the app to unlock fcc mode only. But just put the ham_support.cfg file on the goggles sd card and you'll be in FCC mode after a restart

Hello. So for some reason I can't get to the tutorial on how to downgrade. The drone hacks version I'm using is 1.33
That is strange. Have you closed Dronehacks and re-opened it? Sorry for the silly question, but I have seen this solve some issues in the past.
@InfinityDrones yes I closed amd re tried. And now I have another problem. So I figured I'd download dji assistant 2 and I picked the FPV option when I should have picked ALL consumer Drones. Now drone hacks won't even log into my drone. It keeps searching for the device. I even Uninstalled the dji assistant and reinstalled the ALL consumer Drones version and it still isn't working
And I made sure dji assistant was closed before starting drone hacks. All it's doing now is constantly searching for my drone. It did work in the beginning. It seems after I installed the assistant I'm having issues
Ok LOL forget about the last two comments. I did a system restore and now everything is back to normal. I can log into my drone. But it's the still the issue Before when I click on HOW TO DOWNGRADE. it gives me a message saying "CHOOSE THE FIRMWARE YOU WANT TO FLASH THEN CONTINUE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS THAT WILL POP UP"
@@duchon22 That is very strange. Are you using Mac or PC? I've got all of the different versions of Assitant 2 installed and they are all working fine. As a troubleshooting step, are you able to try using a different PC?

Yes, but that's an issue. The newer firmware does not offer anything new but block the mod.

Why are you disappointed in dronehacks? It's not like they can predict when they can figure out how to unlock a drones firmware... Also, people keep updating their firmware messing everything up...
