I just bought my mini 3 pro and it's brand new at the same time. Your video is just the type of information I need, so many thanks for the effort you have put in today. I would like to praise you for your calm nature and calm voice, no rush even I can follow with 1000 thanks. Now I have to go out and try it out, but I'm so new that I should have just read the rules again.
I have spent so many hours watching drone videos to better my knowledge about my mini 3 pro (which is my only drone) and I gotta tell you I how much I appreciate your candor and brevity. I’m now a faithful subscriber. I can’t wait to spend my next day off cruising through your channel to watch all the rest of your content. You explain things exactly the way my brain likes it to be absorbed. Thank you. You are the key to unlocking my potential.
Great video, very useful and informative. I like how you didn't just focus your tutorial on the drone, but also on the editing - with enough information on what you were doing to enable people to repeat this on different software. Thank you for making this.
Thank you for this video. I finally found a video that appeals to every little detail. With the zoom in to the settings , it makes the video perfect. Your video saves me a lot of time. I look forward to seeing more of your videos
New to your channel. Got a mini 3 pro as well. I didn’t know hyper lapse were that detailed. Thank you. Also learned how to edit as well. New sub brother! Keep up the good work 👍
A great and thorough tutorial aimed at the right level. The techniques were pretty easy to follow, and I particularly liked how you used Camera Raw instead of Photoshop, which would have been overkill. Although the stabilisation worked quite well, I think I would keep the transforming shots as simple as possible as time-lapse is mesmerising as it is. Can't wait to try it myself now. Thanks again Chad
i’ve never used the hyperlapse feature in the few years i’ve been shooting on DJI minis. this was a damn good tutorial, i’m definitely taking my M3P out tonight to experiment with some of this 💪 thank you
You know me I can’t sit through a computer tutorial but did watch the beginning and the effects as you made adjustments plus of course the end result. Beautifully done ✌️
Wow Chad! Great tutorial on the night Hyperlapse- you hit all the points that interest me. How to set up, battery life, obstacle avoidance prep and then post production. On a MAC! Bridge, Camera Raw and FCP! Can’t wait to try this on my Mavic Mini Pro - but I need to get a strobe.
I just subbed to your channel after watching this video. Thank you very much for this. I will be sure to watch the rest of your hyperlapse videos! Very helpful!
Thanks for the video. Very interesting. You’ve inspired me to try something similar. Really impressed with the improvement to quality you made in editing.
Chad, my man, your opening was AWESOME! What a fun review and use of music… very very well done compared to what I’ve seen… you even bought or made a fricken T-shirt… ya thought of everything.
Awesome stuff amigo!!! Long time photographer and RC Airplane pilot and recently picked up the DJI M3P. Your videos have been of great assistance. Especially this one as the ability to use RAW photos to stitch together a hyper lapse is a game changer. Thank you and keep up the great content!!!
Excellent video and thanks for sharing. At last I feel I understand Pro settings for Hyper lapse, shutter duration etc. I’m new to all this with my mini 4 pro. You seem to have way too many video apps on the go so I would love a video showing what can be done with just Hyperlapses in LightCut including adding music and effects Pleeeeeze.
Some great tips! Make sure you keep VLOS as a part 107 holder, you should know this. I haven't checked any of your recent videos, so if you are keeping the law now, keep at it.
Amazing tutorial! I want to do some night Hyperlapse videos so this is perfect timeline. I’m sure I’ll be referring back to this a few times to make sure my understanding of the settings is correct. Well done and thank you!
Chad, glad I came across your channel. I’m a longtime home photographer and am looking to get into drones, especially the mini 3 pro. I can tell by your videos we’re in the same area which is good because I wasn’t sure of the exclusionary fly zones around here. I recognize many of your video locations. Love your tutorials but I’m looking to minimize the editing to my iPad. Look forward to more videos. Cheers.
@@ChadB I just sold my Mini 2 and ordered the 3 Pro. I’m interested in trying out some nightperlapses. It was between the Mini 3 or the Nano. I have the Lite+ but the Mini 3 Pro seems more refined at this point. I’ve never made a day-to-night clip and will be leaning on your tutorial for that. Lining up the clips is something I never even thought about. So that was great to see explained.
Wow! So glad I found your channel and this great tutorial. Really appreciate the time you took to put this together. I’m a new owner of the DJI M3P and will be referring back to this once I get a little more flying experience and try out the hyperlapse feature. Just subbed to your channel. 😀
Great content Chad and even more importantly, excellent presentation and delivery. Really appreciate the simplified and detailed process, along with your post workflow. The best I've seen on this topic by far.👌 Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. 🙏
This is an excellent video on how to do this night video stuff. I've watched a lot of videos with how to's on the mini 3 pro, but never saw one on night videos. I'm just now getting my mini 3 pro and wanted to know about these edits and hyperlapse setting. It was a little over my head throughout the vid, but I will repeat and watch as much as needed. I'm also confused as to the import and export things u did. Where is that done? Can y tell me what programs u r using besides your Final Cut Pro editor? Thx
Love this video! The only time I've encountered raw photo data before was from my Canon DSLR and never really knew much about it, had no experience and couldn't use it. Your video has opened my eyes to a whole new world of photography/video after seeing you manipulate the files using Adobe Camera Raw. The only problem I have is I use Linux and Adobe software won't work properly. I have tried to run Adobe software via Wine but it just doesn't work properly. Not got my drone yet (hopefully ordering it within the next few days; waiting for money to come through) and hoping I can find somewhere here in the UK to trial this feature! Just need to find a video on AEB as HDR is one thing I loved playing with with my Canon DSLR!
Great Tutorial for hyperlapse. I tried it today on mini 3 pro, it gave me warning current battery is not enough which I understand that drone will come back when battery is less than 20% & it returned to home at 20% but after that it should have continue to complete the hyperlapse from where it returned midway but after replacing the battery it started shooting the same hyperlapse from beginning 0/720 shots (it had already completed 330 shots) so my question is how to use Multiple battery for doing a longer 30 sec timelpase? Is it that after replacing battery I should simply press the hyperlapse record button & it should continue from where it was last or should I open my saved waypoint then start recording hyperlapse? Is there any instructions to shoot longer hyperlapse with multiple batteries? That's what I want to know.
Great video and thank you. I have a question though. It seems a farce and waste of time to plan the hyperlapse while the drone is in air, can this not be done with some kind of flight plan app/software ? Also can you save the path the drone takes so that you can fly the exact same route again, for example if you wanted to do the exact same hyperlapse in the day time ?

the end result is just excellent. thnx for the tutorial.
I'm glad you liked it.
How are you flying at night? Do you have a part 107 waiver?
4:13 correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe lowering the shutter speed means that it is a lower speed, meaning brighter.
Please read the caption at the bottom of the screen
