@@Hyppoe Placing each pop sound effect by hand definitely had me questioning my sanity... But hey, if it all makes for an interesting topic, I’m for it! Thanks for dropping in again, Hyppoe!
Thank you for all the amazing support, @Iris_VGC! I'll keep improving my craft and I truly appreciate the encouragement as I continue to grow this channel.
Here were my guesses for the top 5 before I started making the video! 1. Incineroar 2. Urshifu Rapid Strike 3. Amoonguss 4. Rillaboom 5. Landorus Therian How did you do?
@Patrick_Bateman71 Yeah, those nerfs to Prankster, Swagger, and Thunder Wave really spooked trainers away using it in big tournaments after the early 2000s. It's a real bummer, Thundurus is actually my favorite of the original trio!
@@Legendfish1111 Congrats! As per the rules, that makes you this week’s honorary King of the Channel! Edit: Aw, I see you changed your comment. No worries, you still get the title! By the way, Home Depot had them online for a while.
@@TheDeathmail That's $770,581.48 or 2751 giant LED nutcrackers for 2nd place! That was fun, they play so differently though, that most consider them distinct Pokémon.
Hey Josh! Second comment on this video hahaha! I feel like you should post some shorts, kinda like Scraw Vgc style or Wolfey style. Most people really love them, and they don’t seem to be that hard to make after you made this masterpiece 😂
@@Hyppoe I've thought about making short-form content, but I've really been focused on getting better at telling long-form stories. I will branch out to shorts one day though, probably in the near future. Stay tuned!
Oh my god I was not expecting you needing to buy a nutcracker to not fully be a joke😭 Tbh while I wasn’t surprised at who was first, the jump in how much the first and second placed earned is…staggering? Truly an amazing video! Thank you for going through all of this, it hurts my head a bit imagining how much data it must have been!
Yeah, it definitely shows how big the prizes are getting too. Even with minimal inflation impact, Pokemon like Urshifu Rapid Strike are still placing really well. It’s clear the game is growing!
For anyone wondering, it took incineroar a negative amount of time to appear in a video about earnings, as it was on the thumbnail
@@Meowbertdakat That crazy cat!
He's Always in our hearts
This much effort on a video is crazy. Top tier editing, and also accounting for inflation?!?! You’re crazy, Josh.
