Never seen shops selling used in Australia. Best we got were the computer markets and swap meets. Loved those p.c markets, everyone is super helpful and willing to give you advice. Plus the old retro tech was awesome 👌
Cool to see you getting round Taipei on public transport rather than just jumping in a cab. I always try to do the same as you get a much better IRL experience of a place rather than sitting in the back of a taxi isolated, plus it’s always fun trying to solve the public transport side quest.
Welcome Bryan ! Taiwanese here! Indeed, if you know where to look, you can find some really good deals. I only spent $25 USD on Asus STRIX GTX 960 yesterday, $45 USD on MSI GTX 960 GAMING 100ME limited edition last week for my Windows XP ultimate retro machine.
Daing, you racked up a banger of deals, $39 GTX1060 6GM, $20 B350 mobo & $30 B460 mobo? I didn't even know they had custom ARC GPUs available either. Have a safe trip!!
What is your first thought, when you see. Bryan in Taiwan? Marco !!!!! And Marco provides!!!! Hey Marco, glad to see you 2 teaming together again for a bargain hunts 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You're my most trusted analyst when it comes to technology and economics relationship. I'm waiting to hear your inputs on the Nvidia AI revenue, and if it will affect the current RTX 40 series prices... Some say it will be the next cryptocurrency that'll inflate Nvidia's GPUs prices.
What a bunch of great GPU deals! Can't wait to see your take on the Arc cards. Taiwan is such a cool place. There's nowhere else like it on Earth. Haggling is the rule. Every price is negotiable.
1660 Super. Nice find, and great for the budget builds. I'd probably put that in to my old 6700k build, where currently an ancient trusty gtx960 4gb is doing fine.
From the USA but watching these videos is pretty cool since I’ll probably never get the chance to go over there to some of these places. On the other hand I’m only about 40 minutes from a microcenter.
Nothing not to like about this vid, all the deals were great. Just the graphics card alone, all 10 of them for 851.00 Usd. With 2 of those also new, all were great deals, but I find the Bitfrost intriguing.
Don't forget to go to the restaurant on top of Beu Tau incinerator complex in Taipei what an unusual place for a restaurant on top of the cities garbage incinerator tower, They do things differently in Taiwan
LOL, the owner of the computer shop speaking in Mandarin: "My shop is mainly now building new computers and my price is very competitive among all the shops around the tech centre". And see what Bryan's translation is 🤣
Gosh you hit the jackpot with those 1060's and that 1660 super. If you have time look for 580's too and 5700xt's. Monitor is also a steal at 16$. the arc 750 was ok and the 770 was so so, close to normal price. those mobos if in perfectly running condition are also great buys, just couple em with 5600g/5700/5700g's and you got ultra budget gaming pc's. Amazing episode! Omedeto
Looking forward to see you test the Arc GPU's, I think they will fit nicely on that B350 board with PCIE 3.0 and ReBar ON. If you do don't forget to ramp up the fans, because they are silent as a mouse even at 100%/2200RPM at least on my A750.
Man, being in a country with a pc market must be so nice. There's no market where I'm from, it's taking me almost 7 momths to build my first gaming pc because parts are hard to find.
I mean technically these aren't better deals cuz Tech YES City forgot to factor in that he has to pay for a plane ticket to Taipei, Taiwan and back home which in the end the entire cost for everything was way way way higher than it would have been if he had just gotten those GPUs at his local retailer.
Clearly, this type of hunt only works if you are in country for another reason (personal or business). That being said, it nevertheless reveals quite accurately the local market conditions and, as usual, a best practice hunt for used parts.
The parts hunt comes with new parts!? Unprecedented!
...even though I was there witnessing it.
CoolPC is like the price bible here in Taiwan, good pricing, staff is easy to talk with too.
So cool!
Marco is awesome 😊🎉
You are a legend sir!
Great seeing Marco and Bryan together again!
Never seen shops selling used in Australia. Best we got were the computer markets and swap meets.
Loved those p.c markets, everyone is super helpful and willing to give you advice.
Plus the old retro tech was awesome 👌
Glad to see that Marco is doing great. Its been a while since I last seen him on the channel!
Thank you!
The gtx 1060s were a crazy deal since they regularly seller for around 80$ even now
exactly what i was thinking
Rx 580 8gb
@@hueman69420 yeah you could probably find those around the same price and they have better performance as well iam pretty sure
@@hueman69420 you can find those in taiwan for $40
might pick one up for backup
Cool to see you getting round Taipei on public transport rather than just jumping in a cab. I always try to do the same as you get a much better IRL experience of a place rather than sitting in the back of a taxi isolated, plus it’s always fun trying to solve the public transport side quest.
Lmao. At the end of it he was tired so we switched to cabs.
I think Tech YES City the only techtuber go computex for used parts hunts. Love this channels since still have 10k subs. Keep up the good works.
Welcome Bryan ! Taiwanese here! Indeed, if you know where to look, you can find some really good deals. I only spent $25 USD on Asus STRIX GTX 960 yesterday, $45 USD on MSI GTX 960 GAMING 100ME limited edition last week for my Windows XP ultimate retro machine.
nice man! Yeah Taiwan is great, really enjoying my time here (maybe a little too much :P)
Good to see you and Marco team up on used parts hunts !!!!
Thanks!
Awesome GPU haul! Have a great time out there Bryan! Great to see everyone back out and traveling to Computex!
Daing, you racked up a banger of deals, $39 GTX1060 6GM, $20 B350 mobo & $30 B460 mobo? I didn't even know they had custom ARC GPUs available either. Have a safe trip!!
Thanks man, yeah never turn up a bargain, it's against the TYC code :p
Absolute Mad Lad picking up a haul of used parts in Taipei!
4:11 nice tech yes city found his own store
What is your first thought, when you see. Bryan in Taiwan?

My man, good to see you in the tech hub of the world doing your thing. Peace
Missed the parts hunts! Good to see classic Tech YES City content :)
Absolutely love these kind of videos! Like a mini vacation for me :)
Best parts hunt ever!
Are you gonna be able to join Bryan?
Is Marco available for guided shopping tours if I visit Taipei ? Lol . Good to see you going strong, Marco !!!!
Good to see your mug on another used pc parts hunt again mate! 👌🏼🍻
Video had a total Michael Douglas Black Rain 80s feel in the best way with some of the cuts and music.....awesome!
Man those are some great deals, you need to make more trips to Taiwan. Think my favorite are all the 1060s.
Yeah the 1060s were a bargain. The guy was actually using WD40 to clean them up on the 16x pin connector.
@@techyescity ouch! WD40 and electronics shouldn't meet at all in my opinion, but great deal nonetheless.
@@razorr3751 I'm pretty sure Tech YES City is known for cleaning with WD40 lol
@@lastfirst23163 yeah saw that, now the question is if it was with electronics WD-40 or the one for cars 😂
Surely that 7x 1060 and 1660 super deal is the best
Yeah it was my favourite! I think I might go back there, since apparently postage internationally is cheap.
@@techyescity Just like your Tech YES fashion 'What an absolute bargain'
What a hunt! And loving that trippy room and camera angle i bet that took a while to setup lol.
it was actually just a mini booth outside a shopping centre, I was just sitting on my knees to set it up lol
@@spusuf lol its awesome!
Love the parts hunt videos Bryan, keep up the good work.
Brian all slurring his words. Seems like it's the drunk PC parts hunt!
😂
We didn't sleep. Had to pick up Yusuf at 5am. It was hot.
lol my friend you haven't seen anything yet :P
Need more parts hunt videos! Awsome as always!
7:55 next level channel recommendation from Taiwan
What a bunch of great GPU deals! Can't wait to see your take on the Arc cards. Taiwan is such a cool place. There's nowhere else like it on Earth. Haggling is the rule. Every price is negotiable.
This was a really fun PC parts hunt! Keep the bangers rolling!
Welcome to Taiwan. Flip flops, bubble milk tea and a strange looking sea creature on a stick. Have fun, and thanks for the content.
Nothing better than an Aussie in bogan spec sunnies in a used price negotiation. They had no idea what hit them!
Enjoy your time in Taiwan 😊
My fave country, the best place to have a good time, and I've been to most of them.
Some insane GPU deals!
Welcome to Taiwan 👍👍👍
Hope you have a nice trip😊
No way! I'm actually in Taiwan right now visiting family, I'll be sure to stop by YesPC and snag a few parts
Back in the day, we used to have this kind of shops around here, now it's basically online only.
I got invited to Computex this year but I couldn't make it, next year I'll try to go! Hope I can find you there in person, would be cool.
Cheers!
Best tech channel on youtube love the content and the music 👌👌
Stay safe out there Brian and to everyone. A typhoon is incoming
LOVE the channel bro been a creeper for like a year now. all i gotta say about ALL the content you put out is YES!
Great Parts Hunt video! One of the best. Thank you.
1660 Super. Nice find, and great for the budget builds. I'd probably put that in to my old 6700k build, where currently an ancient trusty gtx960 4gb is doing fine.
CoolPC is where I bought my parts. Best prices! And good selection
Lmfao that translation for that motherboard deal you got is 100% not right 😂
From the USA but watching these videos is pretty cool since I’ll probably never get the chance to go over there to some of these places. On the other hand I’m only about 40 minutes from a microcenter.
That's a killer price for a 1660 Super! 👍
Your videos are great and I do like tge music that uou use in your videos makes them even more pleasant and enjoyable
Today is a better day with a used pc part hunts video!!
Nothing not to like about this vid, all the deals were great. Just the graphics card alone, all 10 of them for 851.00 Usd. With 2 of those also new, all were great deals, but I find the Bitfrost intriguing.
Always hustling huh. Much love from fellow Aussie and starter Tech channel..
Good stuff Bryan as always dude
that 1060/1660 score was baller
This is the first time in my whole PC building years I never knew that Ducky (The MKB manufacturer) makes PSUs lol. Cool!!
Bryan needs to me known as Polo when doing a parts hunt with Marco, a buddy cop comedy in Taipei.
Too funny
Those GPU deals! Oh my! I WISH! LOL! Looking forward to the next one! Have fun!
You got me at the thumbnail with that blue box in your hands :)
Don't forget to go to the restaurant on top of Beu Tau incinerator complex in Taipei what an unusual place for a restaurant on top of the cities garbage incinerator tower, They do things differently in Taiwan
W sweep. Looking forward to the arc benchmarks
Tech Yes!! Just the intro got my hyped!
LOL, the owner of the computer shop speaking in Mandarin: "My shop is mainly now building new computers and my price is very competitive among all the shops around the tech centre". And see what Bryan's translation is 🤣
Its great to see Taiwan has all these small shops owned by real people rather rhan giant faceless corporations. 😊

wish I was that lucky to get a deal like that :)
I'm an American living Taipei. Was here just last weekend. Incredible place. But I'm more of a console guy these days
That 1060 deal is unbeatable.
Great Video Sir, the best deal to me, was the 22” 1080p monitor for $22.
The power of Yes!
those 7 gtx 1060 and gtx 1660 super deal was a bargain! nice find, wish i had shops like this where i live 😂
Nice! Have fun.
Parts hunt "Wat a lot I got." Wow Pink Throne. Shout out to Marco
Thanks!
Build a pc from the parts hunt for dirt cheap, benchmark it then trade it to someone for lunch!!!! Would be a sick video lol
Those sun glasses are ridiculous and yet you are pulling it off.
Love the video Bryan!
kick ass deals man!!! love to see some value for money
There is a computer activity there, no wonder I saw many foreigners in Taipei few days ago.
I've been waiting for this!
Looking forward to see you test the Arc GPU's, I think they will fit nicely on that B350 board with PCIE 3.0 and ReBar ON. If you do don't forget to ramp up the fans, because they are silent as a mouse even at 100%/2200RPM at least on my A750.
I was scrolling for Northridge Fix and seen this..... Tap!
gosh those 6 1060s and 1660 were THE bargain
The 1060 deal was fantastic
Brilliant parts hunt see you on the next video.
NGL Taiwan has some really good used part deals.
If he finds a manufacturer employee, probably get a huge discount lol
Absolutely a Banger.

that's it brother, glad someone notices - all these guys around me here keep hatin' on em, they just don't get it.
cant believe i missed this one
Gpu Gpu Gpu wow what a haul so jealous
Yes FB marketplace in Taiwan is a joke, they often only take 5% off and think thats a good deal, foreigners post on their occasionally but its rare.
Should do a food vlog too lol
your pc parts hunts are all ways cool
I bought in bulk ex mining RX 6700 GPRO X080 for $50 each Best barging this year :)
Epic!
I mean technically these aren't better deals cuz Tech YES City forgot to factor in that he has to pay for a plane ticket to Taipei, Taiwan and back home which in the end the entire cost for everything was way way way higher than it would have been if he had just gotten those GPUs at his local retailer.
Well the whole trip is a tax write off and content, so it all evens out lol
Yeah I do the parts hunts as a side thing for the main event of computex and sponsorships etc. Hopefully you guys have some fun with the vids.
Clearly, this type of hunt only works if you are in country for another reason (personal or business). That being said, it nevertheless reveals quite accurately the local market conditions and, as usual, a best practice hunt for used parts.
