In honor of Mother's Day, we asked our Mexican Moms to try some yummy and some strange Pregnancy Cravings! We asked the internet as well as our own Mom friends what some of their cravings were when pregnant - then we made our own moms try them! We you eat any of these pregnancy cravings? The snacks they tried include ice, carrots with ketchup, dark chocolate, pickles, mangoes, and vanilla ice cream with olive juice! 😂

My craving was Slim Jim’s dipped in chocolate syrup and orange juice and root beer mixed together. Lucy, you almost made me cry talking about being a mom to everybody that needs you. A heart of gold.

Oh man Lucy's thing about the babies looking at you and thinking you are the center of their world and thinking you are perfect hit me right in the feels! I was definitely crying by the time she was done talking bc it is so true! I am mother to a 3 year old boy. 😭💗
I love pickles, but seeing Xochitl get pissed off when they came out is hilarious.
My mother had some heavy mental health issues. She disappeared 12 years ago and I haven't seen or heard from her since. I didn't expect the testimonials to motherhood in this video and boy oh boy, I just lost 75% of my body's moisture through my eyes. A little sad, but moreso touched by the richness of their words. What a gift to get to know these beautiful, loving women through this joyful channel. Pure happiness. Hey Lucy, when your others move out, you can have me, okay? ;-)

Okay, this video has my crying! It especially got me when she was talking about always being there for her child and then them not needing their mom. 😭 That got me right in the feels. I have 1 more year left with my son. Okay, I have to go hug him and tell him how much I love him!!!

A mi me dio por el pescado/marisco, la verdura "verde", las legumbres y el limón. Así 8 meses hasta que mi hija decidió que tenía prisa por conocerme.. Calamares/gamba/langostinos/llámese X con coles de Bruselas, ajos y limón, pescado al horno con judías verdes y limón, lentejas a diario en cualquier comida, o alubias, habas...y sorprendentemente es lo que mas le gusta a mi hija. Con dos años sus platos favoritos son los pescados, las verduras "verdes", la legumbre (su plato favorito son las lentejas guisadas y los garbanzos cocidos) y de postre...LIMÓN TAL CUAL

I was pregnant with my first son, I craved buttermilk and milkey way bars. Had to have them together at least once a week. When I was pregnant with my second son it was melon any kind of melon. It was all I ever ate. I couldn't stand chicken,hated it. After my son was born ,I loved chicken again. Still do. Funny how thing like that happen? Loved this episode!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
I'm 19 and this just made me excited about becoming a dad one day... just hearing them talk about children and the love involved... so sweet.
My mom’s pregnancy craving is now my FAVORITE dish we share: arroz mexicano (Mexican rice) with rounds of banana on top! Salty, sweet, y MUY sabroso!!! 😋
Pro-Tip: Add a can of corn to your arroz as it’s cooking because the texture with the banana is exquisite! 🤤
I have always eaten it like that, my great grandma served need the rice with banana, my husband and kids laugh, I don't care 😎💅🏼
We do that a lot in Brazil. We didn’t do plantains but my grandpa always ate his rice and beans with fresh bananas plopped on top.

I remember during my first pregnancy, I craved a Hawaiian punch and a cup of ramen with a honey bun cut up in it. My second pregnancy, I ate green olives with Maraschino cherries. My third pregnancy, I had to have a Mountain Dew with Reese's. I could never get into pickles with ice cream. My fourth pregnancy was hilarious because all I craved was bananas (which I'm allergic to) but couldn't stomach fried chicken (which I used to love).
We need a backstory on each mama!!

I loved mango smoothies and I've always loved pickle juice and pickles when they are crunchy enough. I definitely couldn't do the olive juice in ice cream.
