Im getting a P0750 code on my 97 thunderbird, flashing O/D light and won't shift up, code read shift Solenoid A malfunction, is the solenoid within the valve body? Thank you
Good question, I just had this problem. Check out this video: ruclips.net/video/O9Rxch3zHHM/видео.htmlsi=fVlsxyliMmFopV-9 I also have a long playlist of 4R70W transmission videos: ruclips.net/p/PLGNsbVXzRfZM6WpCF862q4DlkyatzFIMz&si=q7y4sVdsdR81htln
My overdrive clip broke into my body valve so I tore it down removed all the mental put everything back together filled the transmission with fluid now it won’t engage any gears any idea? Awesome videos btw just subscribed and liked
Thanks for subscribing and liking! Thinking about your problem, there are a couple of possibilities: 1) you did not reconnect the electrical strip properly that goes over the valve body, 2) there may still be parts of the overdrive c-clip in the valve body preventing operation of the valve body valves or flow of the transmission fluid, and 3) you may not have connected the shift pawl properly which prevents operation of the manual valve. I hope this makes sense! There might be other causes, but those are the first I think of since your transmission worked before you did the work.
Awesome advice I made sure the electrical strip was fully secured and we are up and running again appreciate the help. Last question I added about 10 qts and it’s still not registering on my transmission dip stick. I’ve herd of others having to add about 14 qts I drained nearly all the fluid. Was sitting for about a week with out the valve body uninstalled while I waited for parts does this seam normal?
@@drewsolis1634 glad those tips worked out for you. Share my channel as payment! ;) A dry 4R70w will take about 13 quarts. Put a couple more quarts in and check the dip-stick with a hot engine and while running.
