Ive said Ive had tough fishing days in the past and this was not only the toughest but the most frustrating. Between mechanical issues, to getting snagged all day, to losing fish, I was at my wits end. I knew there were fish to be caught even though my ususal spots werent producing on my confidence baits. I had to figure it out and I did. i was able to get fish on the deck and in the end that was all I wanted. I talked through what goes through my head when I cant catch fish. I go back to basics and fish places Ive never fished before, like its my first time visiting a new area and having optimism. That slob can still be just one cast away.
