- In this video I go over a customers tune and discuss what and why I am doing various things to build boost on the trans brake. I go over pulling timing as well as adding rpm to increase the amount of boost and decrease the time it takes to get there. AKA setting up a "boost builder"
Time Stamps:
0:00 - Intro
0:45 - 3-step with advanced table
1:30 - spool timing table
3:30 - start of log review
4:45 - how to adjust the spool timing
6:00 - How to adjust the 3 step advanced table
7:00 - quick note on dome pressure and wrapping things up Авто/Мото
Some good information on building boost. I learnt something here and when I get around to it, I'm going to try that on my '69 twin turbo Dart.
Unfortunately we don't have a track over here in Holland anymore, so I need to just play around with my car on the street. Due to some issues I was having in 2016 with the car, I wasn't able to ship it to the US for Drag Week (where I know the Taylors from since 2013) and ended up shipping my NA 327ci '69 Camaro and participated just for the experience.
I came over to your channel and subscribed after following the link from Alex Taylor's channel.
More interested in you injector end angle offset table and want to know the reasoning behind it and also see the base end angle table. Should do a video completely on that subject as very few people have a clue about it and many that do aren't masters of it which is my spot. Maybe do a basics and and advanced video on it for us? Thanks.
I suppose I’ll need to do a video on it at this point. There isn’t much to it in most port injected vehicles as a practical matter but I can spend some time creating a video on why that is I guess.
The table in the video isn’t mine and I wasn’t really hired to tune the whole vehicle per se so I left as much as I could alone and just updated things like the boost builder and traction control.
Very Informative video! Thank you.
You’re welcome
Another great video 💪🏼
Thank you
Good video !
Thank you!
Great video... Are there any books for beginners on the basics on up to more advanced, for Terminator X, that you would suggest??
