I've been following you for a bit now, and really enjoying your videos, thanks for the load of information in these videos. Because of the information you've provided in these videos, I'm going to try something a very different and put the smallest pulley I can on a supercharger that won't cause belt slip and put a waste-gate on the plenum to control the amount of boost I see. I loved the fact that we are able to increase or decrease boost pressure with alcohol percentage using the advance table and wanted to give myself that ability with a supercharger, why should all the turbo guys have the fun. No more switching out pulleys for more boost, now I will be able to simply increase boost like the turbo guys do. If you don't mind I do have some question I would like to run across you, where's the best place to get in contact with you to talk more about this?

Ok so I’ve got a quick question in regards to putting scramble on the bump button. Does the ecu automatically disregard scramble while you are using the trans brake input and bumping in? I don’t see a setting to disable bump while using trans brake input unless I create an advanced table for boost offset?

I'm late to this video because that's just the way projects go sometimes.. but now that I've done some cruising on the street, been more hands on with the software, and seeing datalogs; coming across this video again makes way more sense. THANKS SO MUCH !

Holy moly. Last night I followed A21 Bravos "Sloppy transbrake V2" video and was able to jump up on the converter and spool like nothing.
Tonight I wired up a 3 port mac valve and I followed this super simple PWM output example you showed and I got functioning boost control.
This is the first time I've ever messed with a standalone or any turbo LS stuff for that matter.....but boy I am I having fun. I would've never believed I could slam a shitty foxbody together for next to nothing and have a car that I can barely manage to keep on the road. Thanks for all this great info you give out!

    • @SloppyMechanics

If someone ran a manual or separate boost controller would the ecu automatically adjust if you changed the amount of boost being ran? Or is that not how it works?

I downloaded the Terminator X software and started playing with it. I run megasquirt right now (v2.2)... will it do everything that the software shows it'll do. And do you have to run a TPMS sensor and idle control. Right now I'm using for the Edis 6 air intake temp coolant temp and map. Now I realize I'll need to add a cam sensor to do sequential fuel and spark. But if I got this system on a 6 cylinder could I just start by doing sequential Fuel and continue using my msd6Al box setup and add coils later. Also I think I'll need to add resistors to each injector.. there only 2.2 ohms. This is a dope system if it does everything it shows.

I finally got the BC to work by offsetting the 100psi “Holley” sensor to show 0 psi at idle but I’m seeing like 60psi on the dome at 15 psi of boost. Is that a true number on the dome or do I have something setup wrong?

@@SloppyMechanics Thanks Matt! Curious how you happened to be answering this 3 years later, but much appreciated!! :) And I'm super excited to see F7 ripping. I'm actually starting to mess around with all-motor, and non-intercooled, lower-boost turbo setups more because it's gotten to be way too easy to make way more power than is useable. To the point that some of the fun has gone out of it for me. Lol... I'm even sort of interested in messing with a 4-banger like a 1.8t adapted to a 4L60e, just to make it a challenge again to make some power. Sorry for the unsolicited, off-topic rant. Hahaha..
