How many people have lost their life due to Tory policies and decisions too?.
Too many 😢
By far less than Iraqis in the previous administration.
@@peterebel7899 That's all right then...
Indeed Audrey. How are you by the way?
Labour sent us to war
Who voted for this man?
Far right members of the public
The deluded!😾

Not me.....
Has he just woken up from a 14 year coma?
You think he’s woken from it?

He's definitely not WOKE
@@steveemmett-inotherwords good point, how would we know? 🤔
No tory party ever again ever forever for eternity
That's not long enough
Never have trusted the Tories, never will.
The most corrupt government in living memory
"Tackle those culture wars" Kevin, my dude- YOU CREATED THOSE CULTURE WARS.
Well they copy pasted it from the US. Where it was created by billionaire right wingers via think tanks.
It's worse: the imported the culture wars from the US and putinland.
spot on , when you ask them what culuture wars are the cant give an answer ,
@@gerardfinnigan1539 Culture wars = American bs based on the Seven Mountains doctrine. It's an American evangelical thing. Not sure if people are familiar with it. It's the idea that they need to control 7 aspects in society: business, government, family, education, media, religion, arts/entertainment. They treat these fields as battlefields against their opponents and think that dominating these fields = control over society.
And you can see that in one way or another culture war bs comes back to these fields. Business? DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and woke companies. Government? Everyone is a communist. Family? Ban LGBT families/abortion. Education? CRT (Critical Race Theory) and "sexualizing" children. Media? Don't trust the lefty MSM, only trust weird, obscure conspiracist sources of information. Religion? Make the 10 commandments mandatory in schools (Louisiana just did this) and Islam is bad. Arts/entertainment? New video games are woke, Taylor Swift is bad, Hollywood is woke, everything is woke.
I didnt trust the Tories from 2010. I expected them to be driven by self-interest. I expected them to be corrupt. I expected them to be misleading. I expected thjem to screw up the country. On the plus side (!!), they seriously exceeded my expectations.
Well at least you have no cause for complaint, and I think many people will agree with you.
💯
I was made redundant twice under the Tories. Before that, I was on a 3 day week (and 3 days pay) thanks to Heath, had to sit with half a pint with my mate on Friday night, not because I was driving, but because we were both broke. Then there were the scheduled power cuts, TV stopped broadcasting at 10.30pm.
all of that pales into insignificance compared with the last 14 years....
Never trusted the torys since the eighties!!!
Completely agree with you and they are even nastier now than ever before.
Trust us, we stole and wasted a 130 Billion pounds of public money... and destroyed your pension on the way out.
"It's not our problem "
Not everyone suffered under our policy, many middle and upper class got there dues, we can't do every one.
Why is he talking about migration? Once again they try to set the agenda instead of dealing with the problems faced by the public every day. Out of touch is exactly the way to describe this guy.
Quite so. But Gordon Brown did much more pension damage.
@@theradgegadgie6352 What aboutism is not an argument for incompetence. Both were incompetent decisions.
How anyone could vote for the Tories or reform is beyond me. A Party and company only care about 1 thing, themselves and how rich they can get. They love power and wealth for themselves and that's it!!!
Believe me I STILL come across them! The ones I meet are just too set in their ways, and I’m talking about ordinary folks, not the rich numpties! They STILL believe the Tories look after you, give you more for your money.I’ve had arguments with them about how they reward the rich, while hammering the poor, the working poor and the working classes.I’ve used the example of NHS workers who’ve had to strike for better wages, even after how so many of them put their lives on the line during Covid. They just won’t listen.Just completely set in their ways.😿
The trouble is too many still do.Look how many voted for the likes of Sunak,Patel,Braverman,Cleverly,Hunt and other Tory reprobates and kept them in their seats.😾
@@DerekHarrison-ue9vv Two types of people vote tory.
The extremely selfish, and those that hate the class they were born into.
They think their better than labour.
As Trump said, " I love the poorly educated."
Migration just isn't the hot button issue for most people that the Tories seem to think. I don't care if my GP is from another country, or i hear someone speaking a foreign language at the bus stop. If I can get a GP appointment and can afford my shopping; those are far more important to me and to most normal people. The Alf Garnets are a minority, and they will vote for whatever Farage's crowd are called this week.
30% of the GP’s in my GP consortium have newly arrived from India.
@@johnrussell3961ok? Guess Brexit changed things a bit?
In every poll, the first two most important issues the electorate listed were (1) The NHS (2) Cost of living. Immigration came a poor third. The fact the Tories addressed the third most important issue, but not the first or second, given their appalling record on both over the last 14 years, was one of the reasons they suffered their heaviest defeat ever. And still they don't understand why they were hammered. If this Tory MP is an example of the 121 who are left, their Party is probably in a worse position than even the biggest Tory pessimist would suggest
Reading your comment gives me hope. Eloquent common sense.
@@user-lh9ei6he1h Thank you.
Boris beat Corbyn by 8%.
Starmer beat Sunak by 10%.
Yet one is strong and fair, and the other is weak and unfair?
Let's get our facts right here. 2019 - Tories 43.5% of the votes cast, Labour 32%, difference 11.5%. 2024 - Labour 34%, Tories 24%, difference 10%. The vagaries of FPTP are to blame here, it's that simple. The argument for PR is for another time and place, but it needs to be addressed as some point. Under FPTP, in France there might now be a Fascist led government in France, but their PR system prevented it in the second round of voting.
@@paultaylor7082 Yes, but... in 2019 there was no reform party, brexit but only in a few places.
Its simple, more parties means less % of vote for the others.
Do keep up.
“Johnson”.
Jesus christ, these bloody people are unbelievable. They really don't get it, do they?
They are learning absolutely nothing from their defeat. I am just glad that Labour are in for 5 years. The labour government has done more in 2 days to tackle this country's problems than they did in 14 years.
Oh please do me a favour.
You wait when your taxes start going up.
Leave people alone, you’re a boring bully.
@@edwardvickers5506 Grow up. We are facing serious problems in this country. Labour is already trying to get money back from Rwanda, handed out like treats by Sue Ellen. With serious attempts to tackle the tax dodgers (who were actively helped by the Tories through Brexit and the writeoff of £4.2 billion by Sunak), and fraudsters, and removing the VAT exemption enjoyed by public schools and no other business, plus less irresponsible spending, like Sunak's chopper and Sue Ellen's prison barges, tax increases could be confined to those with the broadest shoulders.
@@edwardvickers5506 Up more you mean....
The arrogance of them is difficult to comprehend
The Self delusion is strong in this one !
Well... the Tories had 14 year the opportunity to build trust and failed epicly.. so why should anyone thrust them?
14 years was plenty of time for them to improve the lives of British people, but they failed miserably, yet we are told that they are the best qualified to be in government 😂
Never have trusted a tory and never will utter garbage
Good virtue to live by.
2016 Hollinrake was one of 72 MPs who voted down an amendment in Parliament on rental homes being "fit for human habitation"
2019, Hollinrake was one of 72 MPs who voted to not permit same-sex marriages in Northern Ireland.
Hollinrake claimed expenses of £2,925 each month between April and November 2020 to pay his own rent despite renting out five residential properties of his own.
So hopefully at his age, 61, he will never again be near Westminster, good riddence to bad rubbish.
Thanks for the info, this indicates the sort of person he is. It's only because he has a relatively safe seat in North Yorkshire, one near Sunak's, that he's still an MP, whereas others in not such safe seats will have been down at the Job Centre today. My former Tory MP for Bury South, Christian Wakeford, has no such problem. He jumped ship in early 2022 and joined Labour, he's now Labour MP for Bury South with a 10,000 plus majority. The former Tory MP for the adjacent seat, Bury North, James Daly, possesor of the biggest forehead in Westminster (but not the brain to match) wasn't so lucky, he lost by 7,000 votes to former Labour MP James Frith.
So he's learned the word "delivery" from the last few days... You can promise to deliver all you want, but now your record for not doing so is set in stone!
Liz Truss said they were going to DELIVER, DELIVER, DELIVER. Pizzas? Currys? Chinese? 🙄
@@duncanbryson1167ironically mostly prepared and delivered by immigrants 😅
@@justin6378
I'm in Central Scotland, near Hamilton, it's usually white local Scots that are delivery drivers here.
They did deliver plenty for their friends, family and backers.
Exactly. Few days ago the in word was “plan” now replaced with “deliver”. Pathetic.
I will never forget how the recently defunct Conservative party behaved during their time in office. What is more than that is that I will never forgive them.
This guy hasn't worked out that what they tell us are our priorities, and what our priorities actually are, are NOT the same thing.
They only care for the priorities of 40% on the right. They know under FPTP they can win power for that 40%. But it needs the 40% to chose a single party.
And is Refirm supports keep saying, there not leaving.
@@johnrussell3961 Farage and Co will be voted out, like Galloway, it was a protest vote that won them 5 seats, and if the Tories get their act together, they will win those votes back, but if Starmer performs well, he will gain them. If immigration is tackled and off the agenda, Reform have nothing to offer except hot air and hate.
I also think that as happened when he was an MEP, Farage will not be seen in Clacton unless there is a local election. Same for Tice. the people there will see they have been conned
The arrogance is unfathomable 🤢
They are still completely delusional.
Talk about “polishing a turd”, classic Tory lies & bulls**t
It was the stupid culture wars that turned people away. I hope we never see old farts like him again 🙏
Trust them after 14 years of what we've been through. Never going to happen
Vote the tories out foever they had their chance
They are asking/telling us the same thing an abuser would say to a child, wife or husband
It goes well beyond delivering. We don't want corrupt self serving politicians. We don't want chaos hate clowns.
'The culture ideology we see in our society'. What does that even mean? He also said that before delivering on public services. Unbelievable.
I guess he saw that it worked in American plus its a lot easier to be mean to trans people and refugees then deliver functional public services.
No Tories and no Reform. We are done with them forever.
Are you brain dead, REFORM is on the rise, the only party what speaks the truth and will act on it given the chance.
Well, if he's whinging about a 34% vote share resulting in a 174 majority, his party had 14 years to introduce some electoral reform.
They offered single seat AV , which was rejected. Many like me, who wanted PR, rejected it,
If the Tories are offering you a horse, look in the mouth.
Hahahahahahahahahah.
"Please support us! We'll go as hard right as it takes!"
Whats wrong, no more money to line those already overflowing pockets
Place trust in populists? Clearly doesn't understand populism.
BTW Max, in a former life, this Tory apologist was an estate agent, a job which needs exactly the same amount of qualifications as it does to be an MP, that is, precisely none whatever. Would you buy a house from this man? I think if you met him, afterwards you'd be checcking you still had your wallet, watch and mobile phone on you before you left their office.
Trust is never owed, it must always be earned.
Given the amount of scandals during their tenure, trust us really?
122 and counting. Lets make sure there's even less at the next election.
The sound of someone actually NOT accepting what just happened.
Still delusional.
‘Delivery’ The use of such an Abstract word for the CONservatives. I wont forgive and I most certainly won’t forget!🤣😂🤣🤦♂️
An utterly ridiculous man in an utterly ridiculous party.
They're not willing to invest and train people or even make trade schools and universities free. So what's the point?
Money doesn’t grow on trees.
@@johnrussell3961You should tell that to your Tory lovers.
I’ve never trusted a Tory & I never will . Their lifetime motto is Part & Self Before Country . They’ll never get my vote , I’m thrilled the Tories are toast !
The tories would've still been in power if only they made life a little bit better instead of banging on about the boats.
Their greed was so out of control they couldn't bring themselves to do something that would actually help ordinary folk.
Should be jailed.
I wouldn’t trust a Tory to tell me the time, at least not without them charging me for it.
The guy's a clown.
Blah, blah....just give back to the country all the money you stole....ffs..
Brilliant Challenge Bravo Kay Burley ❤
Which of the seven stages of grief is this? I'd guess denial, but I could be wrong.
Arrogance. Pure arrogance.

Fool of the week….on a Monday 🤦
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
So, there you have it - the Twatories are clinically insane 😂
Give these losers less airtime
Shows how insightless incompetent and dishonest they are
We’ve had two working days to learn from our mistakes and are once again ready for government.
This is a party that has fallen so far down a rabbit hole of its own making that it is seemingly living in another universe.
the fact that he used the phrase "Culture wars" shows even know he knows its nonesense!
Never ever again.
How will people possibly trust them again when they well and truly Truss'ed us.
I really don't get why the conservatives point out the low percentage of votes, that is basically a call for election reform.
How much more deluded can they get! After all the bloody lies and cronyism!
Definitely out of his mind . The people you want to force on national services while you mismanage
Really, does not sound like they are interested in earning the trust, just want it given. I think the people have been fooled for the last time.
Thats a no from me
Has the electorate already told them what the public opinion is. They’re even more stupid that people thought, and that’s saying something
It seems the public have short memories when it comes to Tory failures. I endlessly hear complaints about how we shouldn't trust Labour because of their past failures, going back to the 1970s government.
Ha , ha , ha , don’t hold your breath . I was told a long long time ago that if you have a Tory government the rich get richer and the poor get poorer .
Just to add a bit more info, Hollinrake studied Physics at Sheffield Hallam University (1981/3), but failed to complete the course. If he'd done that nowadays, he'd have no professional qualification in the subject to show for it, as well as being saddled with a large student debt need repayment. So going into the estate agent business was possibly a safer bet...
They would do the same, up to their old tricks.
It has been a good 4 days. The past 14 years are forgotten. Let’s have another election next week. All is forgiven. The Tories should never be seen in government again.
nothing to do with them being corrupt then!!!!
A Tory wants to be trusted again. Hmmmmm. Is this the same tory who supported Porridge Johnson, voted Leave, resisted the call to pursue Mone and said that Truss was 'challenging the status quo?' I wonder why his party did so badly?
He talks about delivering a labour government as if that's a bad thing when the tories have been destroying the country & All the services for the past 14 years &
They refuse to take responsibility for that !
He still doesn’t get it. He still thinks people are buying this utter bullshit
Good afternoon Max and all here. Again. They are delusional
Tories champion on leaving the job to food banks because they are too busy filling up there pocket with public money
Spot on Thank you Max ❤
They just don't get it exactly right he forgets people cant afford to live , enjoy your time out of government , go into the desert for 40 years...
The Tories didn't do anything about the cost of living because they think this is he way it's supposed to be, they like it this way.
Tool of the Week!!
I notice that he kept on saying we haven't delivered on OUR priorities! not the people's priorities
Well, give the public some years. They will forget the 14 past years and vote Tori again.
Not in my lifetime…..
Translation into English "Trust us, our smoke and mirrors are more flashy than Reform Ltd." He can not see that voters are having a bad time and they see his party as the cause.
There is more chance of hell freezing over before I’d even think of voting for them
Remind him of the numbers of people waiting for NHS appointments and how many have died waiting your party as blood on its hands you pull every trick in the book trying to distraction from them being Tory candidate
Rule #1. Do not try to outFartage Fartage.
It must be difficult for some people to understand the cost of living crisis when they think £100K a year isn't a big salary.
Which begs the question: How can they call £11.44 an hour a Living Wage?. The last time £11.44 an hour enabled anyone to lead a reasonable quality of life was over 30 years ago.
Trust is earnt, they are in debt.
Er . . . . . . believe me, I am trying not to laugh. Seriously though, I am really trying hard not to laugh.
I never have and i never will.
Oh gawd ...they beyond help
It will be interesting to see whether the Tories come back from this defeat. Given that their core voter base is the elderly, possibly not. Yeh!!
Trust is earned…. The tories have utterly lost all trust. It will take them at least a generation to regain it… even if its possible.
Lower the voting age to 16 and make sure that the Tories are out of power for good
That’s going to be a massive NO from me as I wouldn’t trust them to tell me the time let alone run the country again
And no mention of brexit
They really are finished 🤣🤣they are incapable of saying ' we were just shit'
I hope they carry on talking like this cause they will stay where they are...... especially if labour do make things even slightly better
