At 3:49 when he is turning left and a red car carries over the mini roundabout from the other direction, should you let the other car be committed before turning left, so it cuts out any possibility of collision if the other driver decides to turn right at the last minute. I was always taught to wait when I passed in 93, but modern driving and more cars people seem to not do that. Obviously your driver probably just about has the right of way.
Its so interesting the difference between the us and the uk. I got my permit learned how to drive in 7 days then passed a driving test. This feels like you would have to drive for like a year to maybe not fail.
Great video. Something to be aware of is never 'trust' the displayed sat nav speed sign. If for eg, the speed limit on the road is 50 mph, but further ahead, there are some temporary road works, or hazards, & the temporary speed limit sign is now 30 mph, the sat nav will not have the updated information, & will still be showing 50 mph.

Hi Aman, What a good driver this young man. I found it a disgrace what happened at 14:55 to the other learner driver by the Renault and the Nissan Van, which also passed your car over the parkingspots.
I had a test at Isleworth centre last Friday (which I failed sadly) however, everything about that test was strange!!! Firstly, I started about 15 mins early because my instructor and I were early. Secondly, the route I took was only going around and around the same area. Thirdly, I only went through 20 zones and I ONLY did 20 mins of independent driving and headed back to the test centre (I can't complain lol). At the test centre, I was asked to reverse back to any bay to the right, while I was reversing, I realised the wheels on my side are off (on the box line) so I asked her if I can restart she said yes and then when I tried to restart she stopped me saying "I can only adjust by going forward and backwards" when she said this I panicked badly and my brain went blank. No matter how much I tried to reverse back to the bay, the wheels on the right were off and then at last I went on the curb in front of me which made everything worse 😓. She ended the lesson and told me that I failed my manoeuvre with no other faults. I am sad that I could have passed with 0 faults if I didn't panic at the end 😖 Is it true that once you start a manoeuvre you can't restart it? I was not aware tbh and my instructor was confused. Should I appeal if this was not the case? to get a free test or a sooner slot at least? Also, are examiners allowed to disconnect the dash cam? My instructor is fuming because the examiner disconnected her dash cam without asking for permission?
That all sounds a bit strange. I also did a reverse bay park in the test centre at the very end of my test and needed to correct as I was not quite in the lines. The examiner didn’t say I could only go forwards and backwards. I didn’t need to restart from the very beginning but successfully corrected and only got a minor fault for it, so I passed. Also weird that they would disconnect the dash cam - are dash cams not allowed to be there during a test? I have no clue 🤷🏻♀️ but out of politeness they should have checked with your instructor first I would have thought!
@@hannahjewell6013 it was my first driving test so I wouldn't know if was she was saying was true. There wasn’t enough space to go around it fully as the pavement ahead does stick out So we needed to go over it a little So this would not be counted as a fault
Hi Aman, at what point here 19:43 would be best to signal left to avoid misleading ORUs of you turning left into the car dealership on the left? Appreciate any help and thanks for the videos!
Personally i think Mateo should've observed out the back a bit more when doing the reverse bay park, he was only checking side mirrors but hey I'm not a driving instructor so what do i know😂
I did feel he looked at the reverse camera a lot which is definitely a useful aid but people, learners in particular, shouldn't come to rely on that as their car may not have one.
Are the rules different with a reversing camera? I was taught to always turn around enough such that I can see directly through the rear window when reversing.
Hi Aman, were you taught to drive in the same manner that you teach yourself? Love your videos, like how you custom teach valuing everyone as individuals, not expecting everyone to learn the same way

I passed the test few days back with zero minor, after two filed attempts ! Bottom line is you have to perform the acting while you are driving during the test and be like you are driving first time. Mirror signal position speed look when ever you are going to take right or left. Six point use of mirrors starting from left rare window and ending at right rare window whenever you are asked to park and move off. Always look to your shoulder while looking the mirror so that examiner can realise you have watched the mirror. I always watch the mirror by Turing slightly my head got bit time use of mirror observations. Never park car on keep clear, drive way, junctions crossings, always slow the car close the pedestrian crossing if pedestrian are waiting to get the light turn to red for traffic. Rather than follow the Google better to follow the sign boards before the round about to select the right lane, Keep one car length distance from the next car If there are two lines on round about go straight select right line .. likewise when you exit the round about choose the right lane as left lane is used for overtake. So when I passed the test with zero minor, he immediately brought up his badge and put in-front of the examiner and requested to write his badge number on my result. Lovely examiner replied with smile “it’s too late now, you must have confidence in your student “ 😆
