Man this E39 looks pretty bang on to my first E39 experience as a teenager. My dad's boss let him use his E39 to pick me up from school in the afternoon as my dad's car was in for service. He pulled up in this thing (green like this one, same interior colour combination too) and really did blow me away. We'd always had Australian cars and nothing as luxurious and solid as this Dingolfing beauty. My first introduction to bmw was the e36 in the Warsteiner livery. I can't remember if I found out about the E39 before or at that time of that fateful school collection day. Now I've had 3 E39s and still have 2. 02 525i m sport in titanium silver and a 03 530i high tech m sport in frozen black (individual).
Wow congrats on your cars! I got mine now for two years and it still brings a smile on my face every time I get in. There is something about this model and era of these cars that is special. Glad we still can enjoy them before it becomes impossible to find one in good condition.

@@janek7048 Moin ihr zwei, etwas spät aber ich habe auch einen e39 und bin neu zugezogen. Gibt es hier im Umland irgendwo schöne Landstraßen wo man auch mal etwas sportlicher fahren kann? :)
@@lukasp7406ich mach das gerne an der Elbe Richtung zollenspeker falls dir das was sagt… da hat man eine gute Sicht auf Verkehr und blitzen tuen die in der Regel nicht. Ist aber auch keine richtige Landstraße 😬

Ein Traumwagen. Hatte selbst vor ein paar Jahren einen E39 530d. Suche schon seit einiger Zeit wie verrückt nach einem mit beiger Innenaustattung - deiner sieht einfach wunderbar aus! Wo gekauft?

Ich fahre eine 530i Limousine mit vollleder Ausstattung in sandbeige und echtholz. Das Holz ist bei mir dunkler und die Wagenfarbe sienarot metallic 2. Mittlerweile fast 13 Jahren in meinem Besitz. So nach und nach wird alles nachgerüstet was es damals gab natürlich nur original BMW teile bzw Erstausrüsterqualität 😌
And the Thermostat is not working properly.....maybe you renew the water pump while you are at it....But if you take care of it, the M54 will last forever...Just do the Battery a favor and start the engine first, than electrical users like Klima and lights and that you can put on the seatbelt....and never EVER lock the car from the inside....you are just making it harder for the Emergency Cervices in case of an accident.........😉😉
Erst mal alle Türen von innen verriegeln, und dann auch noch alle Stromverbraucher wie Klima und Licht anmachen und dann erst Motor anlassen..??? Wer hat dir denn Auto beigebracht..??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣...You don´t deserve an E39 dude....
The era of these cars was a great one. It is very nostalgic to drive one, and yours is mint! I hope you can enjoy yours for many years to come.
In Latvia we got much people driving and e36 , e46 , e39 and e60. So in our poor country this era is still hiting.

I payed 4.000.- USD for a 530d Touring in mint conditions
