But there is something about these auto 530s...I feel like even auto 528s are faster for some reason.
Most M54s on the road today don't make the power they should. People rarely service the VANOS or the DISA valve, and only check for vacuum leaks once their CEL comes on. Doesn't help that nobody seems to service these 5HPs either.
My uncle had a similar car like this. I remember one time i broke rear view mirror when i was playing football with my brother(cousin to be precise). And i remember that cousin said he broke it, just so uncle doesn't get mad at me...
There is something wrong with this car...On 525i you could do 0-100 in 8,5sec , even on 530d I can get under 8 seconds (stock car) , 530i should be under 8 second with no problem :)
You'are right. Most German publications have managed to clock around 8.0 s 0-100 km/h with Automatic E39 530i. This car should easily do 8.0 s. The manual does around 6.8 s.
this thing is so hampered by the old 5 speed. put a modern zf 8 speed in it and it would be a lot faster. that 3 litre inline 6 has a ton of power. especially considering how old it is and that it has no turbo
Hmm. My 2001 530iA with 250000km on clock using draggy it is 0-100 7.7s 60-100 4.0 80-120 5.0s 0-200 32s. So there must be something wrong with this car. 8.8s probably 525iA 192hp.

В Германии запрещено удалять катализатор
