- No limit motorway run with top speed + 238 kmh in a BMW E39 Sedan 530d Individual Highline Sport M with 5 Speed Automatic ( GM 5L40E ) stock 193 HP , 410 Nm 3.0 Liter M57 D30. This car has 308.000 km with the original first motor. But the automatictransmission and the turbo is new.

This 5 series generation, was a masterpiece.
e39 and e60 are the most iconic BMW. I am not bmw fan, but i like them. Newer bmw, especially 2016+ are ugly, and more important - they have poor quality

Probably the best car that ever existed. Timeless classic, my dad had the touring version of this car and now i've got it too. Every time I get in that car there's something about it, the memories, the feeling of being a kid and falling asleep while the music plays in the background.

@@Minellica Is it really hard to use a google?? I do it for you: "Essentially, a drift starts before the apex, while a powerslide starts after the apex. ... In a drift, the slide starts much earlier. Your goal is to induce oversteer going into the corner, not on your way out-sometimes using a clutch kick or a tug on the handbrake to get the car sideways ahead of the apex."
This car is so special and you dared to slide it like it's nothing. Did not expect that, and had to rewind that part 20 times because it was so beautiful. respekt
I love this combination of the E39: the stronger 193hp engine, speatronic gearbox and adaptive steaming! I feel this car is particularly interesting when accelerating foot down in 4th gear to reach for high highway cruising speeds.

The 193hp engine is actually weaker than the 183, it has an aluminium head, and that usually gives problems
Edu Campoamor I thought that both variants of this engine had an aluminum head but know I know i was wrong thank you. BTW: I was using the word stronger as a way to say it has more hp.
@@Moital1 oh okay, just to clarify, the 193hp is a good engine as well, but in the long run it isn't as reliable, that's the only thing
got a E39 525i. i love it so much. its insane how stable they are to drive at 200+kph. Truly a masterpice

While sportiness depends on the engine, in general E46 is more sporty becouse of shorter base, less weight and etc. But it's much more comfortable in E39, not only by sitting position and space, but also with softer suspension and quality in interior. No creaking or knocking noises from interior, while E46 has lots of "speaking" materials inside.

Best car ever of bmw
bought 525 120kw with a blown gasket it was fun taking it out and cleaning all that white stuff that comes from oil and coolant mixing :D after that just regular maintenance of fluids and some old rubbers for the moving parts still no major issues after 5 years of owning one btw did the same thing took it to Germany to test it out since where I live the roads and police are always on the lookout to get you it still made to 230kmh although slower than 530 here

notice, your fuel-tank runs empty (orange light), it's worse for diesel with high pressure common rail. Be aware of damage to your injectors.
