I had my chores on the farm. I spent many summers on the wagon stacking bales of hay and straw. And picking rocks off the field. We didn't need a gym lol.
The farm looks awesome! We drove by some corn fields today in Ohio that didn't look as tall as your family's, so at least all their wet weather is helping the crops. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON'S GRANDMA! 🥳
I love the rural life. Great farm! Thanks for sharing your family history! 🎁🎉Happy birthday Grandma!!! 🎉 🎈Love the farm you use to live in Grandma! Glad it stayed in the family!🥰
Loved seeing the farm! Makes me miss Kristyn’s family farm in Iowa. (Iowa corn is the best roast-nears) Funny your milking building looks just like my Great Uncle’s building. Safe travels and if in NE Alabama stop in and stay at our ranch. We have two 50/30/20 hook ups waiting for you.
This takes me back to the days of visiting my grandparents farms. Cows, hogs, chickens, wild berries and walks in the woods. Central Wisc area. I've done my share of haying. Both farms are gone (others own them). One has 78 acres of woods handed down to 3rd generation (my cousins) for hunting. That included the ponds. I walk it once in a while. Quite the neat clouds towards the end. Happy 91st Birthday grandma.
Your parents have a beautiful farm out there - absolutely beautiful. Mid west weather is no bitch. We lived in Kansas and Oklahoma, so we know that tornado life all too well. Stay safe my friends!
WOW!! That farm is the coolest. You are a very blessed man. You seemed to stay right size.😉 Happy Birthday Gradma. I hope you get to have the best day ever. 🎂🎈🎁🎉🌈. ❤
That was really cool to see where Jason grew up. It is very beautiful there. Love all the fields of crops. Tornados are probably one of our biggest fears.
@@CoddiwompleTravelers Thank you! Yes, tornadoes are a big fear for us too. Other than having a go bag ready and a weather radio, there isn’t much planning you can do. Just to have to keep an eye on the weather constantly.
One of your best videos! Really hit a nerve for me :) You and your family is what makes America great! Happy birthday Grandma. Bless you and your family, Best regards, Kevin
The dogs look like good travelers. Looks like a nice place to grow up. Looks like a lot of good memories. Can you say children of the corn Barb and I just experienced 80 mph straight line winds in the park we're at it actually blew our neighbors slide toppers off. We ran our slides in. Happy 97th birthday grandma.
@@destinationfulltime Thank you! We were happy to share it with you. It’s always great being able to see friends on the road and it’s even better when it’s home town.
It was so cool seeing where you grew up!! Totally 💯 different than how we grew up in LA. OMG how scary!!! We we t thru Texas and there was a Tornado watch on the weather but never heard and sirens like that 😮 they would’ve definitely scared the shit out of us… we seen the movie Twister!! Glad you guys are ok!! 🤙🏽Ruben&Lori 🌺
Hi, so glad you were safe it must have been quite scary! We don’t have anything like this in England. The barn looked lovey though. Nice stay. Chelsea and Mike
Great hearing about your family history on the farm. Yep I remember my mom and her boy friend and driving through from Michigan to Colorado and seeing a lot if corn. We stayed in Iowa to somewhere. Because it was raining. But it’s still a great state. I remember those siren sounds. We had them too in my home town in Michigan. They let them off every Saturday to practice. And I was in a tornado there too but it by passed our houses. Thank goodness! Hope you all were ok! Dud a tornado touch down? Happy birthday to you Grandma! Happy 97 birthday! You have a great night see you soon! Safe travels.
Walking beans and sorting hogs. As soon as I left for the AF my Dad installed automatic hog watering systems!! go figures Guess his cheap labor left. Safe travels
Dude , I'd be hitching up and heading out if I saw that coming my way...the great thing about having a RV is not having to stick around when 💩 goes down!!.❤️🙏🇺🇲
That’s the difference between Midwest and west coast we hear a siren and run for shelter and pray. You folks get the camera and a cup of coffee to watch. Lol.
Jumping over the trees and getting in trouble by grandma if we hit the tops of them. 😂 Of course dad is watching the storm instead of going to the basement….
@@thomaswilson8634 we would go the shower house or a storm shelter. As soon as we get to campground we locate the nearest one. It’s normally one of the first things we do when we are in an area where they are possible. Plus we always have a go bag ready.
@NoSticksNoBricks ok so we need to incorporate that in to our plan as well. Thank you for the info. I grew up working on a farm. My dream was to fly a b52. I ended up in civil engineering. Broke my heart. Caused major conflict with me and the air force. Young n dum. Back in the SAC days. But I carried myself as I was taught neat clean and sharply dressed throughout my life. I contribute it to my success in life. If I can ever get my Kenworth wired for brake controller I will be on the road camping.
