It's great to see that you're teaching your children to eat healthy foods. You're a great mother.
Thank you so much. It’s important to me that kids have good relationships with the food. I was fed well as a kid and I’m passing it on. Thank you for a lovely comment
I've just ordered an Instant Pot and waiting for it to be delivered. Thanks for your great video ... it was very instructive and I can't wait for mine to arrive! My mother used to cook a lot of delicious meals in an old fashioned Pressure Cooker. This one looks much easier (and safer!) to use and I'm so looking forward to the pressure cooking function. Thanks again, Terry
Hope you enjoy it! thank you for comment
It's great you cook at home most of the time. It is much healthier and much much more economical. Another great video!!!
Thank you so much. Yes and it tastes so much better too!
Brilliant review . I wasn’t sure if I should buy one ! Thanks to your review I’m buying one !
Excellent 👌 let me know how you like it. I still use it very much and works great
Thank you for educating me on how to use my first pressure cooker
I’m glad it was useful. Thank you for watching
Practical demonstration, review it's amazing
Appreciate your comments
Thank you for your help to learn how to use my first pressure cooker :)
Happy to help!
I have owned the 3lt one for about 6 months and have found it a very healthy way of cooking I do a red lentil and chilli soup/dip in 4/5min perfect rice, brilliant slow cooker etc
P. S I'm a 61 y/o guy
Just a brilliant kitchen tool 👍👏😀
Yes, it is an essential equipment to have in every kitchen
Does steel sticks food without oil. Because i can see its not non-stick
It’s not none stick and yes things stick to it if on sutey mode but it doesn’t happen when on pressure cooker (unless it starts to burn which means not enough water was added
Great video and very thorough, thanks for the in-depth & helpful review!
Thank you for watching 👀
Great review, thank you very much . I've seen a lot of reviews but this is the only video that really helped me
I am glad I could help 🙏
Hi Agnes, thank you for the details. Planning to buy one and you helped ❤ Laughed at the “impatient “ remarks , I am one. Lol
Its a great device and i am missing it.
Bought one today, Very honest review, Thanks
Great to hear! Did you get the 5.7l as well?
@@AgnesMann Yes👍
@@ganantharaja fantastic I’m sure you won’t regret. If you found the review useful please share it around to help me grow the channel thank you 🙏🏻
@@AgnesMann Sure Luv, Will do, Keep going 👍
@@ganantharaja I really would appreciate it so much. Thank you
Thanks for the info! i purchased an Instant Pot earlier today!
You have made an excellent purchase and I’m sure you won’t regret it
Hey Agnes, great review x
thank you so much. DO you owe Instant Pot? What do you make of it?
Great review, thank you 🖒
Thanks for watching!
Just joined the instantpot cult myself - needed one that I could minimise standing and cleaning with (I have a back injury that makes that exceptionally painful). I'm going to try that type of chicken recipe, it looks the goods indeed; also looks surprisingly inexpensive for quite such a large meal too. Have your power bills changed since you started favouring this thing?
To be honest I haven’t noticed any increase in bills so I don’t think so. I guess when I use the pot I don’t use the hob so it evens out. Glad you have joined the cult! Welcome!
Great review explaining how it works i love the thought of easy cooking.
It’s been with us for so long and we use it at least twice a week or more. Did you get one too
@@AgnesMann yes I have one on order now I wasn't sure if I needed one because I have the old kind and a slow cooker but this looks a lot safer to use and the slow cooker is slow and you don't allways want to wait that long to cook a meal.
@@glenyshanlon5112 yes safety is one thing that sold it for me when deciding on traditional between pressure cooker and instant pot. Did you make anything in it yet?
@@AgnesMann its not been delivered yet so I hopefully it won't be long .
Nice Christmas Present then... Enjoy and let me know what you make of it
Amazing review 👏 👌 thanks for the information. Now I can buy it with confidence 😅
Thank you for your feedback. I’m sure you will love using it
Heuyy very nice review looking into buying one.
You defo should invest into it. Thanks for watching
Thank you, your video was very helpful
Glad it was helpful! Have you bought yours yet?
on sale at Amazon for £54.99 just ordered mine del tommorow.
What a bargain! Excellent 👌
Great review!
Thank you. Are you buying one for yourself?
There is a setting with three options Less, Normal, More.
Couldn't find the button to choose one of them. Pl explain, thanks.
there is a button to regulate between them on my model as I am demonstrating on the video, so unless you have a different model you should be able to see it
Awesome and you looking so beautiful😍✨
Aww thank you
Excellent demonstration. Just bought one. Thanks 👍
Great. I hope it serves you well
Thanks for sharing. Great information.
Glad it was helpful!
In the booklet it states not to set the instant pot on any kind of stove, electric etc… it’s a safety hazard
Yes, I was just demonstrating how to use it, never said to use it on the hob, it was an easier angle to film at... Thank you/ do you also have the Instantpot? How do you like it?
Hey! I'm about to order one. 1. Apart from the preset functions can I also control the time/pressure manually? 2. Can i put another smaller steel bowl with food to be cooked inside the big steel one that comes with the insta pot?
Yes you can control time and pressure but as much as its probably going to work if you put a pot inside the big pot, I do not believe the manufacturer would ever recommend this. hope that helps
@@AgnesMann Thanks a lot for your reply :)
@@pavaninarayanaswamy982 no problem, anytime. what part of the world are you watching from
From London :) I'm very used to the good ol pressure cooker back in India. I already hate induction stoves that have only preset functions.. Just didn't wanna endup buying an instapot that's not manually configurable.. Thanks a lot for the video.. Very helpful :) Just placed my order.
Yes you can, it's called Pot in Pot cooking, steaming the contents of the inner pot under pressure. Don't forget to add the water in the outer pot. We cook all the time like this on our mission ship. It's good for steaming rice and many other uses.
Please, this is the first time I used the Instant Pot pressure cooker, 8 liters, Duo Plus. I made rice with noodles. After browning the noodles, I canceled and ran the rice program. It worked for 12 minutes. It kept running on the word “auto,” and the time did not return, and I canceled. I smelled the smell of burning rice. What should I do?
there are tips on youtube oh how to cook rice in instant pot.
Maybe this is super common but you make soup the exact same way I am 😊
Wow that amazing. Do you also make it in instant pot
Can this pressure fry ? As in crispy chips and chicken
no it can only saute but not deep fry
Hey, I’d like to see more recipe videos using your instant pot so I hope you make those videos ☺️👍
I will try some soon. Stay tuned and thanks for comment
Can you please show how you wash the lid?
Just like you wash the pan with hot soapy water and make sure you remove the plastic seal and wash it too
Super pot!!!
tak, jest na prawde superowy
Hi, can the lid get wet, like how do you clean it, thanks.
You clean it like you clean every other hob. Once the dish is cooked. And you no longer use it
Since the pot is connected to power best not to put water on it while it’s plugged in
Can you wash the removable container in a dishwasher machine?
Yes. I did that and all was good
@@AgnesMann great! thanks!
Can you release air on this manually
yes, its a vent that you release the air from- the little knob on top
I wish she's do Yogurt no one on RUclips did Yogurt
I never tried actually
@@AgnesMann thank you for replying I'm looking forward to try it please & thank you

Sup nerd,
So, I’m a white cis male 🤷🏻♂️ probably already wrong… and I skipped through portions of the video 😬 Still a solid review. As a dude, I can say, we love watching other dudes use the tools we own and talk about how great they are … Stihl, Hustler Mowers, and Milwaukee… you know, I’m the basic b of white guys… anyway. Back on track… you stated in the title that you would say if it was worth it or not. You seem to enjoy using it. However, I never heard you say yes or no. Am I wrong? I don’t know… 😅 it kinda sounded like you said a sorta yes right before you spoke about the burning from lack of water. But I’m not certain.
With all my love and affection,
Someone who will never take life seriously. ❤️
It is worth it for sure! I’m still using it on a regular basis and it’s such a versatile pot! Glad you’ve enjoyed the review
What accent is that ? Rochester ? And the pot is look aluminum to me , could you correct me pleaee, coz i do not want to feed my kids
I’m from Poland so that would explain the accent
The pot is stainless steel so you’re save to cook the food in it
Hope this helps
@@AgnesMann thank you i should ve guess , the beauty of Poland and ukraine is no compare to our girls here USA , thank you
@rayden1717 thank you you’re too kind
❤👍🙏💐👏🌹
Thank you
😆😆 NORMALLY WE INDIAN S NEVER LIKE COOKER 🌍 WE LIKE BOILING IN OPEN JARS🌍😎😎😎👍👍👍
This is actually a really useful pot for making life easier and cooking faster. Sometimes that saves time for busy working mums
Can i put a bat in it?
Yes you can put anything you want in it why not
A fitting end to gothams finest
