McDonalds McDLT commercial "Comedians" (1985-6)

- Updated Frequently Asked Questions:
Q1. Can you post ___?
A1. These are commercials from old VHS tapes my family recorded off the television. I have nothing to do with making them, so what I don't have, I can't post. Whining will not spontaneously make me have something I don't have. If I do have it, I will post it eventually (excepting certain videos: see Q5 below). Be patient-I have a LOT of tapes to go through and not so much free time.
Q2. Can I download these?
A2. To the Google! Search for "download RUclips" or something to that effect-that'll be faster than anything I could do for you.
Q3. When was __ produced?/When did __ first broadcast?
A3. If I don't state it in the description, I have no idea. Almost none of my tapes have any kind of time stamp or date reference. Also, many commercials aired for years, and I have no way to tell if the commercial is "old" or "new" at the time of the recording. (Google is your friend.)
Q4. Will you follow me/watch my channel/visit my website/etc.?
A4. No. I already don't have time to record videos. Following/etc. would just take away from that time.
Q5. Did you delete this video?
A5. At least one of my posts had been removed due to copyright violation. Why just the one(s) and not the others? I suspect some companies appreciate the free advertising. However, the type of content in the removed post(s) is something I will avoid in the future.
Q6. Did you delete this comment?
A6. While I don't mind if you poke a little fun at something in a video, I draw the line at outright hostilities, such as defaming the actors or insulting other users. I'm not here to censor anyone, but neither am I here to read flame wars aimed entirely at making others angry for no good reason. If you made a comment that referred to a hostile comment, I may delete yours as well just for reasons of simplicity.
Q7. Why did you post ___? It's old/stupid/[insert derogatory comment here]!
A7. Why not? The alternative is not posting. I suppose I could always reclaim my free time that way, sure, and you would just have to bother someone else. Your choice. - Развлечения
Who's here because of the Nostalgia Critic?
The sun
Yo.
0:22 We'd like to thank Tommy Wiseau for directing that line.
He’s not entirely wrong, but I think Neil Breen directed that line and the commercial as a whole.
Somehow he got his hamburger put together.
Stephen Treadwell:Since when u need 2 whole hands to put an already semi-built hamburger🍔together?!
0:06 AHH!! It’s Doug Walker as a kid!!! Kill it with puberty!
This comercial has lived in my head rent free for nearly 40 years.
"Alright. I was in a car accident and five people died."
“Died”
@@LGDevilsFan "Ok, they're not dead. They're laying in my trunk."
@@wstine79 “Trunk”
@@LGDevilsFan "Okay, they're in my basement and I think they only have minutes to live!"
"Minutes"
This was my favorite burger of all time.
Bring it back 🥺.
Mine too. My late brother ordered it for the first time and pronounced it like it was spelled. A "McDult". 🙂 good times
0:06 Seriously, did I have a twin brother I never knew about? Did he grow up to be that guy from The Batman? Because I kind of look like him.

I remember when I first saw this gag joke on some 80s movie.I was a kid so it hit my funny bone right on spot

Ok, maybe less. God, what do you think I should do?!
*DA SUN!*
*pulls out and fires gun*
Lol, I was looking for this comment
“Da SUN!” 😝
I haven’t seen this commercial in decades.. WOW
T H E S U N
...
Comedians...
... it's like their sheer lack of sympathy just keeps playing when he tries to communicate on their level... and then without explanation he has the hamburger compiled because, I guess, what would it leave the audience feeling?
... It doesn't look that difficult... on the other hand, if he's right-handed, yeah, that could be a problem, so, never mind...
Hope not be the McLMBTQ version in the future.
Is that Eli Manning?

Why isn't the cheese on the hot side?
I also often think of biting into a McDLT through the many years but sadly and stupidly they discontinued them. If they felt it was a bother that we had to put the 2 halves together which I loved doing, but if they or other customers felt it was a bother or that the lettuce or tomato may fall out of place by doing so, then why THE DARN didn't they make the McDLT the normal way after that with the 2 halves already joined together? Are they that stupid or what to never think of that or at least feature another burger with tomato and mayo, I guess they are.

What even is this?! Who directed this? Neil Breen? This is the best and worst thing man has created!
The kid in the cast looks a bit like Ray Bourque the hockey player.
I don’t think I’ll try one of these
Why did they put the cheese on the cool cool side
Where's George?
THE SUN?
All those burger containers will be in a landfill for the next 1,000 years, ah the 1980s!
