All actual footage from the Summer Of George
Those delta gold chips were really making him thirsty
“You had a lot of hair”
“I am aware of that!”
😵💫😂
the little hat
The Sony Watchman, now you can catch your favorite show while eating a sandwich and being intimate with that special someone all at the same time
Jason must have had a really good agent cuz he was in a crazy amount of commercials
Yeah, he worked alot before "Seinfeld".
He had a great mug for TV ads.
He could play from chubby-dork to hefty-yuppie.
He’d already won a Tony by the end of the first season of Seinfeld. He was in great demand as a stage actor throughout the 80s and early was in the original Broadway cast of Merrily we Roll Along.
Haha that’s what I was thinking
You can definitely see some George in his acting.
Especially in the Delta Gold ad.
4:27 "my george isn't clever enough to hatch a scheme like this"
Wierd how theres a theme... Delta Airlines, Delta Gold... that's gold Jerry!!
Rold Gold too
He had jobs other than Seinfeld? Who knew.. I'm guessing people who sat at home watching commercials in the 80's knew.. I was always outside, playing with my golden chips and sending money by western union to my friends to get cheap tickets on Delta to come see me so we can enjoy Friday nights eating McDonald's.
the 501 blues seemed to be during George's 'bad boy' phase.
Yeah before he lost his hair Jason played a convincing jock.
You've been the bad employee, the bad son, the bad friend, the bad fiancée, the bad dinner guest, the bad credit risk, the bad date, the bad sport, the bad citizen... the bad tipper!
He's a bad seed.
I remember almost all those ads, and that’s why he looked so familiar before I ever watched Seinfeld.
POV: You’re watching a commercial for a portable TV on the supercomputer you keep in your pocket
Geez, how bad was beer in the 80s when, 1:40 "You can't find better than Pabst."
cause this was post prohibition, pre independent brewers renascence. it wouldn't be for another 20 years before this gets fixed
He definitely sold me on those Delta Gold chips.
I bought a bag off Ebay. They were green, not golden. And the taste? 🤮
he later did rold gold pretzel commercials
Do they still make them?

I think so
Never knew George Costanza did so many commercials for so many products.
Truly the ‘80’s commercial boy wonder!
It's always entertaining to see a 30-something year old man pretending to be a high school student. 80s TV and movies were awesome... 😂
Actually Jason was only about 21-22 in that commercial. Still a bit older than an actual high school student but somewhat closer at least
Low 20's
The man's got dealt a bad card at the genetic lottery. Ain't his fault.
He claims he was 14 when he did that.
Everyone talks about his hair but no one mentions his singing talents.
There was so much singing in 80s commercials (and before) that it turned into background noise. If you remember, you remember.
🎵 Believe it or not George isn't at home...🎵
Jason Alexander, an eclectic Commercial Wizard, pre and present and post Seinfeld days. I loved his TV Land awards medley of Classic Shows.
4:27 no way Frank is sending that money
His George isn't clever enough to hatch a scheme like that 🤣
Estelle: Frank, you have to bail Georgie out!
Frank: No WAY Estelle! He did the crime LET HIM DO THE TIME!!
Estelle: YOU HAVE TO SEND THE MONEY, FRANK!
Frank: ALL RIIIGHT!!
@@tonysustarsic5212 You can hear the "Duckman" in him!
@@jsphat81 Serenity now!
Worlds are colliding!
I’ve seen that Levi’s commercial a million times and never noticed Jason!
Everyone always talks about his hair but no one mentions his hands
Those Good n Plenty commercials referenced commercials back from the 60's..and yet twice as much time has passed from these 80s commercials to the 2020s. Wild.
actually much more time has passed.
You somehow misunderstood op's comment @@unknownkingdom
@@markwickering7000 nope you misunderstood it
@@unknownkingdom lol nope. 60s to 80s is ~20 years. 80s to 2020s is ~40 years, twice as much time just like OP said. You're wrong and can't do math and can only say, no you! Haha
@@markwickering7000 not really
Durty J gettin all up in ALL da 80’s commercials!!!
George's playing Jason Alexaner 😀😁
3:29 he went on to combine his little TV with food and sex....
Look at how far we have gone. When you send money through western union in 1985, it took around 15 minutes. Today, you can send the money anywhere in the world and the recipient can get it in 1 second.
Also your bulky to go TV could only get local stations, now its slim and you can make phone calls, watch everything including 80s commercials on demand, and write meta references about it for people with nothing better to do but to read it!
@@vanhagar3000 ha 🤯
But it takes two weeks for a parcel to arrive from across the city
Talented Actor. But of the ads, it's that Western Union one that I remember from back in the day. Great ad.
You’re telling me Pabst is better than Pepsi? No way Pabst is better than Pepsi
He certainly paid his bills during the 80s with all these ads, and Patricia heaton in the Pabst ad with him too
Wow, that was totally her. I didn’t recognize her until the end, chewing on the pencil.
On the thumbnail (far left), he reminds me of Richard Dreyfuss. In addition to having worked with a Dreyfus. Lol.
it's the little bulldog himself!
No homo. But Jason look attractive with that full head of hair.
But u look like a girl
@@Lordmij but your bald. So lol
@@BigAl_00 i am xoxo
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
@@archstanton9547we were just roasting each other lol
The Pabst Commercial was filmed at Vazacs Horseshoe bar E 7th St & Ave B in NYC- my old neighborhood
B you're brave
@@Thunderchild-gz4gc by the time I lived there, it had calmed down a lot
Those delta prices though
Jason Greenspan is quite the actor
Iola from Mama's Family in the first commercial.
Mcdlt song was lit 😂
Should have used the longer version here.
1:39 "thats right, a prize fight between a homunculus and an inchworm"
Bodysuit man!!!
He had to film the PBR ad immediately after refereeing a boxing match
:30 Big things do come in small packages, especially when they've been in the pool.
I remember him in the Hershey Kiss commercial..😂
Pipe down chorus boy.
Master of the house...
He should try to get into a sitcom
Well..I want some Delta Golds and a PBR now.
He looks a lot like my favorite actor, Buck Naked.
Isn't this the same guy that tried to force himself on top of Julia Roberts in that movie, Pretty Woman?
0:06 hey that’s Jerry !!
Flight prices haven't changed in 40 years
1:59 George been George more than George his self
1:55 that is not enough foam
Where is Jason Alexander in the SOS comercial?
0:06
@@justme-hh4vp ah there he is thanks
4:27 He got caught for being a bootlegger.
You forgot his 1980's Canada Dry commercial
He was pretty handsome with hair and when he was slimmer.
I…WAS bald
Got damn it George
RIP Mc D.L.T.
The jason alexander chip commercial reminds me of conan o brien doing the commercial for shrimp
What is that stuff on Jason's head? Oh it's hair!
00:03 i thought that was Seinfeld
I wonder if the jeans ad was where the writers got the idea for the khakis commercial that Jerry hated
No. That khakis ad was real and wasn't similar to the jeans ad.
The girl with the glasses in the S.O.S. commercial at the beginning looks kind of like a female Jerry
Really weird seeing him try and be a hip young guy
Damn George really lost a lot of hair.
He's aware!
DUCKMAN!!
13,500 of these views is Jason Alexander showing this to his acting classes
hi
I didn't see anyone that looked like Jason Alexander in the first commercial (S.O.S. Pads).
He's about 7 seconds in to that SOS commercial, holding the large pot.
@@retropond Doesn't look like him.

McDonald’s worst blunder
I worked at McDonald’s in 1987. You had to make the McDLT to order because there was no way to pre-make them and “keep the hot side hot and the cool side crisp”. People didn’t want to wait, even thought it only took about 2.5 minutes
@@chrisw6164 mine usually had the cold side hot & the hot side cold. I loved them, but I can imagine it was tough getting them right
The Arch Deluxe was
👇like for good and plenty.
So. Much. Hair.
Notice that as he gets older, his parts get longer. They started to see his quirky specialness
Take that money I would too but my God is he a girl's nightmare..
Impossible to like.
