I would love to see you make "post apocalypse" armour from stuff like street signs, car parts and various scrap metal. But only using common hand tools. No power tools or specialty smithing tools. Basically assuming the power is out and you only have access to a common tool bag of tools.
@@DavidGuyton thank you! I've been following you since finding and buying your original gauntlet and helmet plans 11 or 10 years ago to build with high school metalwork students (I've since bought other ones too). I have 2 teens right now adapting the spartan wraith helmet designs and we really appreciate seeing your techniques and style of building!
Hi, I really wanna build some of your gauntlets, but first id like to know some thing, if I buy a gauntlet template, lets say the gothic gauntlet for 5$ what do I get? 1) do i get like a file that i can use to cnc the parts or do i need to recreate the file my self. 2) How do i make sure the gauntlet will fit? 3) AWESOME WORK i really love it and id love to recreate one of your awesome builds or even more.
The files are PDF files that will print out on your printer in exact size. You trace those parts out onto metal or whatever material you are using. There are also written instructions on how to shape and assemble the armor. The video is also reference material for you to use as you build. I don't produce templates that are ready for CNC, etc, but some people do convert their templates over to be able to do that. You will need to use your printer to scale up or down as needed, but most people do not need to do that.
@@DavidGuyton Ok thank you very much. For what size of hands is the gauntlet preset? should i upscale if i have like bigger than average hands even if they are average worker hands?
@@jojosba2523 Best to print the template out and check the sizes of the pieces in paper before committing to metal. Make sure to be wearing the gloves you will use while doing so.
Someone asked me recently to do that. I went back and watched the movie and the mask was a lot more complicated than I remembered. I COULD do it if a serious collector commissioned it but I wouldn't bother doing it just for a RUclips video since my videos are hidden by the algorithm now. No point in making videos that no one sees.
@@DavidGuyton because I really like what you do and I really like the mask itself but I don't have the skills to make it, how much would you make it for?
@@sharedphotos1932 Given the time I would need to make it, in the $1500 USD range. If if didn't have all the designs carved into it, it would be roughly half that.
Blood for the blood god.
Skulls for the skull throne.
Comment for the algorithm.
That's awesome man!!!!
Bad ass helmet.
Another wondrous build. Your work continues to be the model of quality for which I strive.

Your sheet metal skill are pretty good but your soundtrack is 👌
still waiting for you to sell the bulletproof shoulder pad.
Great build!!
thank you sir! I subscribed!

Antlers surprisingly looked really good!
Looks a bit like one of the goblin helmets from Legend. 👍
Nice video but more talk and less 'music' would help.
There's literally a full length, narrated tutorial of this in my video catalog.
Hey David I really enjoy your work but lately I keep revisiting your two videos on the custom car interior. I would love to see you do more car stuff!
I actually have a new channel that will be all automotive related. It's called DARC Customs
Nice work! love the antlers
Amazing 👍🏻👍👍🏽
Speed comment!!
Awesome 😎
Very cool!
when using copper , what method do you use to weld pieces together ?
You can use solder on copper but when I do it I tend to make very small rivets from small copper rod and then sand them flush to make them disappear
¡Excelente trabajo David. Muy inspirador!😁
Badass
Absolutely amazing work!

Well done but i would have liked to see real antlers
The company who commissioned it wanted an exact copy of the antlers in the game, which would be almost impossible without making them from scratch.
Another work of art! Thanks David! I think the way you mounted the antlers was very cool as well.
Hey David, can you make leper king's mask?
