How long did it take to do the full mountain and how long to tackle sharp edge? Well done to you both! 😊

About an hour up to scales tarn, then about 30 mins up sharp edge being careful, be warned though the hike up is one of the steepest I've done, you hit a lot of incline over a short distance compared to others if similar height.

I thought how irresponsible to take a 7 yr old up there- but at least she was tied on to you. But no helmet, or knee and elbow pads? She is 7.....

@@neil9959 both me and her are VERY experienced climbers, danger is subjective to experience and skill level, this was a walk in the park for her, i do understand your perspective however 👍

Naaa... it's your child and your choice, but if you slip, she goes with you, if no rope, she's on her own...
All for getting kids involved young, but so many routes she can get experience without as much risk...
The bloke whose teenage girl slipped and lost her life at half dome thought they both had enough experience...
7 years of age is far too young on the hardest ridge in the lakes...
Yes brave, yes a beautiful young girl, but no age for that...
All the best and please take care 🍀

@@pklucky43 Risk is subjective to skill, experience and conditions.
For BOTH of us this was easy and at the very worst a small trip would result in grounding ourselves with a few scrapes.
I do not put my child in situations that would endanger her, one can only view from their own perspective and while i respect your opinion in our case it isn't valid.
One person can drown in a 2ft paddling pool while another can safely surf a 20ft swell in a storm.

@@RichieBrownAnAdventurer like I say, your child, your choice... I wonder if those unfortunate people who fell from sharp edge thought they would simply ground themselves if they slipped?
Good luck mate, you seem a decent bloke and I'm no snowflake, just don't think it's the place for a 7 year old, we all think we are invincible until we're not...
      Take care...
